I ordered online and the delivery came earlier than the projected time. I got the vegan bowl with hummus and it was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and the serving was so generous that I could only eat half for lunch ( finished it for dinner). I plan to order again for sure. read more

Call me the Duke of over greens and I will protect my rep at all cost. My bf and I have to stop here maybe 1 to 3 times a week depending on our schedule, service is fast and the cooks in the back make sure that the bar is always stocked! Ordered for delivery so I can't comment on the ambiance. Lentil soup was really good. The Bowl? Amazing! But pricey! I did a create your own warm bowl. It arrived not so warm, but maybe it was due to delivery. I ordered: Quinoa Spinach base with : Baked Chicken Carrots Mushrooms Hummus Broccoli cucumbers chickpeas sweet potatoes. Everything was super fresh. I felt really good after this meal so I would call this a successful adventure. Would 10/10 recommend and can't wait to try more things from this place. Place serves made to order salads and juices, you can pick two bases for the lettuce and add up to 5 toppings and one protein at an additional charge. They also charge for extras such as croutons and cheese. Salad is decent, but paid almost $25 which is a bit on the pricy side. Ordered mine with corn, cucumber, tomato, onion, and sweet potato and base of kale/romaine, also added salmon mixed in. Salad was just ok for the price. I ordered the chicken soup (that came with a small piece of bread) and mediterranean toast (guac, goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes, tomato, and pistachio). I thought it was chicken noodle soup so I was pretty disappointed. That was my fault. However, the soup tasted very grainy and weird. The slither of bread was off putting to me. I couldn't stomach any of the soup until later. Same goes for the toast. I think it's more of an acquired taste. The tomatoes are very sour so it took me a few bites to get used to the combination and actually enjoy it. I don't think i'd reorder those options again. read more

The service is very good. Guys are very welcomy and helpful. The Rio açaí bowl is ok. Granola was a bit old and just one or two red-greenish strawberries (you can see on a photo). Came here on a fly bc I was in the mood for a good/hearty salad! From the secound I walked in, I was greeted with a warm hello and smile. The place was very vibrant and cute! I recently tried this place for some lunch. Ordered a chicken wrap and a salad. Overall, I'd say the food was just average here. Nothing special about the salad I got. It had mushrooms, chickpeas, cucumbers, and cauliflower in it. The chicken wrap was the better of the 2 items I ordered. It had a very healthy taste and the chicken was like premium chicken used, which made it taste great. No complaints about the food; but nothing to rave about either. If your looking for some healthy lunch; or something healthy to eat in general; this would be a place you would enjoy. read more

I was in the area & had a taste for a big salad & I got just that! Here at Over Greens, you choose your greens, toppings (5) & protein or you can pick on of their salad selections. I had gotten mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, shredded carrots, parmesan cheese with salmon & caesar dressing. It was very good & fulfilling. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because I felt the salmon piece was pretty small, but outside of that it was a good salad. They also make smoothies which gives you the all around healthy meal. read more

This place has been my go to for two years! If u are looking for healthy, yummy food come to Over greens! Not only is the food and drinks great, the staff are always super nice to my kids and me! I get the same order every time and it makes my mouth drool. Lol. I can't imagine what I would do without it! My husband bugs me to stop talking about this place but I can't! South Brooklyn is full of unhealthy food options so this is an extremely refreshing change of scenery! I was personally exhausted by the limited amount of options if you want to eat healthy, so Over Greens is a god send. I have frequented a few times, and just yesterday visited and decided to leave a review for this great business. I ordered a protein smoothie, Ceasar salad wrap and the tomato soup. Everything was extremely fresh to order and the soup was delicious! Not acidic and very palatable. The service is great and the staff is friendly and takes their time. You have so many options here- make your own smoothie/juice/shake, build your own salad or buy their pre made options, make your own acai bowl. Tons of healthy beverages to chose from - coconut water, to kombucha and anything else you would generally see in a health food store. Amongst this strip of Emmons ave and sheepshead bay road, there are a few other health food stores which orient towards a similar style of food, but since this place is new and offers lots of more mix ins and customization, I honestly prefer it and think it's probably the best place in the neighborhood!! Highly recommend for anyone who is into sweetgreen or DIG and stores of the like! The inside is lovely as there is a gorgeous mural on the wall and it's exceptionally clean. Love it read more

I also love the fact that (as far as I know) the juice has no added sugar. Not only that, but I'm in love with the overall aesthetic. The first time coming here was hungry and wanted something healthy. I ordered a chicken wrap with avocado and a Koia protein drink to go. Got home and my chicken wrap was a disappointment. I don't plan to buy from them again. Lost 15 dollars and I just got a bunch of chicken. No avocado and no tomatoes . Just thin tiny slices of cucumber. Their Lentil soup and juices are nice however be careful with the bread. I got one today and as you see it was stale and was starting to go bad. At least don't give it to customers like that. You might never know what you're causing. AVOID. read more

Got their new tuna bowl with salmon and chicken. I don't know how old their proteins are, but the tuna tastes and smells like it was dumped straight from a can. No flavor. Salmon was hard as a rock, probably days old. Chicken was tough and chewy. The only thing they got right was the avocado lol. Be careful ordering here in case of food poisoning. read more

This place has awful service. I placed an order and gave a $5 tip for a delivery. The order goes through and I see on my email receipt that it states "pickup". I cannot go pick up since I am not close by. When I called (one minute after) to cancel my order (to avoid wasted food and to get my money back), the person who picked the phone up said that they could not provide a refund nor cancel the order. He said that they would make the food and that I should have someone pick it up. Like what? What restaurant cannot cancel and provide a refund- very simple. Horrible customer service. Avoid the headache and order your food somewhere else. read more

I keep giving this place a chance because I live in the area but today was my last time here. Out of like 10 orders only 2 were made fresh and tasty. Their chicken is just nasty most of the time! It has this taste of stale chicken that has been cooked I don't know how many days ago. Barbecue chicken specifically, they just cover it with sauce and think it's fine like that. Today I ordered kale Caesar salad, and it was just so bad I couldn't eat it. Only 5% was kale, the rest they just put lettuce( which was already bad, soggy and yellow), cheese had probably gone bad too already because it had this weird sour taste, the chicken was so bad I almost threw up. Another sheepshead bay spot that became a no for me. read more

Ah, the audacious adventure in quest of a protein-packed morning kick. I found myself, yet again, under the siren call of my usual: a holy trinity of bananas, almond butter, and almond milk. But lo and behold, in my pursuit of nourishment, I stumbled upon the elusive "roasted almond signature blend. "Now, let's hold the phone here - who, in their right mind, decided to label this concoction a "smoothie?" Last time I checked, a "smoothie" is an icy blend of deliciousness, not a warm, overly-thick gruel that would give Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist a run for his money. In my naivety, I expected my banana buddies to be as cool as a cucumber, frozen and ready to make my smoothie experience a chilling delight. Imagine my utter shock, disappointment and, yes, pure revulsion when it turned out to be otherwise. I ask you, my fellow smoothie aficionados, who among us desires a lukewarm, gloopy drink to start their day? Indeed, this was not a miss but a mile-wide catastrophe in smoothie land. I LOVE Over Greens! I discovered it just as I was walking by. The place is very clean and inviting; the menu offerings are creative and don't make it easy to choose; and the price points are right. Very vegan/vegetarian friendly. I wish there were an Over Greens in Manhattan, because I do not live nearby. I would definitely go there again. They have been open only a short time, so I wish them the very best of luck. read more

Wonderful place. I love their tomato and lentil soups. Their salads are terrific. You get what you want. Everything is so fresh. The place is immaculate. The ladies serving you are wonderful. They are helpful, courteous and kind. The salad portions are great. This place definitely comes highly recommended by me. Try it and you will love it. A definite asset to the neighborhood. read more

Overgreens is my favorite salad spot. Their ingredients are fresh and the salads are actually pretty filling. One of my favorites is their Overgreen Bowl because I love how the goat cheese, apples, and sweet potatoes mix so deliciously with kale. The wild rice in the salad also makes it pretty filling! read more
