Dr Doppelt is absolutely the best Dermatologist in Knoxville! I have been with Dr Doppelt for 20…read moreyears now. He takes care of our entire family. So thankful we have him as our Dermatologist and as my weapon against aging. My Father had been to multiple Dr.'s that could figure out what his rash was. Dr. Doppelt did. He also caught his rare cancer this year. Then for my husband who had been treated for multiple causes - Dr Doppelt was able to identify the real issue which was a rare disease . He got him the treatment he needed finally after years of misdiagnosis. For me personally I am 51 and do not look a day of my age thanks to Dr Doppelt. He keeps me restored to my natural youth without making me look like I have had anything done. I am so grateful for him. Please see his reviews on Google Maps - Yelp's 11 reviews are not comparable to his 1,000 + reviews with a 4.9

They just don't have a ton of time to chitchat. I see Deborah (nurse practitioner) for the medical side and Melissa or Julianna for the cosmetic side (facials etc.) I tried the Bright and Clear treatment and that was the best. My skin looked amazing afterwards. I need to save up to have it more. It's a clean office, bright and welcoming. It has lots of parking too.

The facility was easily located and has stairs or elevator if you need it. The signs around the building get you right to it. Checking in was easy. I filled out a signup sheet and did my initial paperwork of health history, personal & insurance info, as well as privacy and payment acknowledgements. At the most it took me 8-10 minutes to fill out, not a big deal. The reception staff was very nice. I waited less than 5 minutes after the paperwork was done and was taken straight back. The nurse was very nice while gathering other health-related information. Now before I review the rest I have to premise this with the fact that when it comes to be examined in general that I am not comfortable at all. Not only am I not comfortable but I was quite ignorant to what to even expect. With that said, the Dr. was very kind and informative. She made an experience that I had been dreading something that I believe I will be alright with in the future. She was very helpful in answering skin/mole questions to help me better understand what I didn't before. 5/5 for me. I'll be using this place and would recommend this practice. Thanks for helping me.

I called like four times over a span of 10 days and every single time I got transferred to an extension that no one ever picked up -- voicemail every time. Eventually someone called me back and blamed their delayed response on me not mentioning my birthday in the voicemail. Hm. At this point it had been over two weeks since my appointment when they had also taken blood work to see if I were positive for an autoimmune disease. The PA said someone would call within 7 days -- you'd think they'd want to tell me the good news that I was negative? Nah, before the nurse on the phone hung up I had to remind her to tell me my results. The best part though is that the nurse said through an online pharmacy my prescriptions would be $35 and $10. When the online pharmacy called me the next day they told me $75 for each. I didn't want to pay that and I didn't want to waste anymore time trying to get a hold of the dermatologist. Making an appointment, the PA herself -- no complaints. But trying to get a hold of these people was a nightmare and I will not be returning next time I need to go to a dermatologist.

They did biopsy two moles, they said I'd have results in two weeks, I had to repeatedly call to follow up, they never answered the phone, finally just told them to mail me the results. Still nothing was sent, got a phone call from the PA on a Friday saying one of the moles was of serious concern and that I need to schedule it for removal. This was six weeks out, she claimed they sent a certified letter, they did not. The certified letter arrived the following week. When I told the PA i was concerned with their processes and the amount of time spent in the initial exam, she let it slip that they are directed to only spent 11 minutes on a patient. This location will never get our business again, be careful!

The staff were all so kind and helpful. While I was waiting for my appointment, one of the women showed me these awesome products they carry that are not only makeup, but sunscreen as well. Essentially, I could go to the beach with a full face of makeup and not smell like traditional sunscreen or look greasy. I love that. The walls of this place are decorated with gorgeous art and in some of the rooms you can see the original brick walls of the building showing. The Diamond Glow treatment itself was not painful at all, but gave me the result of cleaned out pores. The suction takes out all the gook and replaces it with the serum of your skin professional's choosing (my serum was a hydrating one). The entire treatment was short enough to fall in my lunch hour, and was non abrasive enough for me to walk out and show the world my cleaned face. This is truly a luxury experience. Anything you want, coffee, tea, water, a more youthful complexion, can all be given to you here. I will definitely be back for more sessions.
