First the women told me that they don't do that next she told me that I had a bill from Ellis for 4,000 since 2017 which I never received. She got nasty with attitude and told me I owe 7,000 now. Without a bill I told her I'm not paying it she got mad and told me I will pay and hung up. Someone needs to teach her manners. read more

Horrible! This debt collection agency masquerading as a law office has been relentless in dunning me for more $. This has been going on for more than 6 months. Glens Falls Hospital claims I owe them $100 which I don't. I paid every single co-payment every single time, have a cancelled check for every single physical therapy session as well as a printed receipt for every single session. ORDO will not accept proof of this and keep making up different reasons for the $100. I will not pay for someone's clerical error. Shameful in so many ways.....they should be going after people committing medical fraud instead of senior citizens on Soc. Security. Take-away: steer clear of Glens Falls Hospital with their shoddy clerical practices. Scam. I received a letter from this place saying I owed money for a hospital I've never been to. When I called to discuss it, they wanted me to give them my info, to verify it was me. This firm is a complete joke. The phone number listed on their letterhead is not in service and they are extremely unhelpful when you do look up the correct number and call. I would have had more success calling the clowns at a circus. My notice came on behalf of Albany Med and when I called AMC they said I owed nothing and they had no idea why I received the notice. They said I have never been in their collection system. But this firm still wanted my $20 and was going to keep me in their collections. Idiots. No customer service at all. read more

Run Away! Wanted to hire them, receptionist HAMMERED me about who I was and what I wanted then went to voicemail. The lawyer never called me back, called the next day, and again HAMMERED by the receptionist about what I wanted to which I said "I am trying to hire your company" she then puts me on hold, come back and say "We are not interested" and hangs up on me. Wow, guess they missed the classes on professionalism and business ethics at law school. So glad I had the experience at the beginning, not after I hired them. My credit history shows four items both banking accounts (I assume) and two medical.They show the last four numbers of each account. NONE of these numbers mean anything to me. I attempted to call Overton Russell by using three different numbers with no answer. I called for almost 45 minutes. Only answer I got was from another answering system (Intertell Voice Processing System) wanting me to enter a code for who I was calling. Needless to say I had no answer to that. Fed up and frustrated!!! Trying to get an item removed from a credit report that is not mine and its like pulling teeth... Called these guys directly and they admitted that they have no open accounts on me... (it's on a relative) advised they sent the credit bureau the wrong information. They told me to have the relative contact them... So your telling me this relative has to contact you in order for you to remove your error from my credit report!!!! Crazy!!!! It was so easy for you to report wrong information on my credit report why is it so hard for you to remove.. Especially when you just admitted to me that you have no open accounts on me!!! Ugh!!! Total and complete JOKE! We paid Samaritan TWICE for the same bill over a year ago to get them to leave us alone and then they sent it to this joke of a collections. Snail mail only - NO RECEIPTS OF ANYTHING! Hung up on me when I called to ask for an email to send to in additional to the post office. This law firm continuously filed foreclosure paperwork in court with my address for another person. It wasn't until my tenant told me the house was in the paper as foreclosed that I learned about the error. For almost a year, Since June 18' they filed 30 court documents foreclosing on the wrong address. My house was set for auction in two weeks!! The auction has been stopped since I learned of this. Now they are taking no responsibility in fixing the damage that is all over the internet that it is a foreclosure damaging my home value severely and making it incredibly difficult to rent because people think the home was foreclosed. They are incredibly rude speaking to them telling me it's not there problem. The press republican and local papers have published front page story about what has happened and several news stations have aired the story. They make the mistake and I'm stuck with the damage. To remove all foreclosure reporting to real estate websites and the foreclosure notice online links it will cost me $2000.00 a link to have removed. Finding a suitable tenant has become impossible. This is the most disgusting law office I have ever encountered. I had a bill I was paying my local hospital from a basic surgery that had a small balance the insurance would not cover. Without notice the hospital referred my account to this place, why, I have no idea as I was paying the hospital monthly and on time. Then after making on time monthly payments to this place they report it to my credit agencies. I call them to ask why and a Phoenix I spoke with at the law office said "we don't have to inform you that we are going to report it". I said to hear, do you have any idea how you are hurting hard work, responsible people's life by doing this, and basically did not care. Then she tells me even if I pay it in full it will stay on my report for up to 7 years. Overton, Russell, Doerr and Donovan I am not sure how any of you represent this company that is ruining hard working, good people's life's but you should be very ashamed of were you work. They sent me a collection notice for Ellis Medical. Ellis Medical tried to bill me for a ER visit when I used their urgent care facility. I called Ellis Medical several times to resolve this matter however they never returned my calls. I finally resolved this through my insurance carrier as they were able to reach Ellis Medical. However, that did not stop Overton from trying to collect on the wrong amount due. I called Overton to explain and even talked to a manager however they are forcing me to respond via mail to their demand letter. I have wasted far too much time on a corrupt hospital (Ellis Medical has billed many customer for ER vs urgent care visits - you can see the reviews on line) and now a corrupt law firm. read more

Disgusting and unethical! First, you are on hold with them for so long, even if you're just trying to pay a bill. Second, the call center agents will routinely hang up on you during mid-conversation. Ellis Hospital sent my bill a few times to Overton and Russell (because Ellis Billing Department is another hot mess) but as soon as Overton contacted me, I paid it off.. I decided to run my credit report and to my surprise found a bill from Overton. They never contacted me about the bill or even called me. I contacted them after finding this information but, they insisted that they mailed me, which was a lie because I received ever other bill except this one, they verified my phone number and address which was correct, however they never called me about the bill either!! It's easier for the lazy receptionist to just forward your bill to collection instead of making a simple phone call or look at your record to see that you have a history of paying your damn bill!! It's easier for her to lie about mailing you than to actually mail you!! I called back at a later time, when they try to verify my address, they gave me a old address, which I haven't lived at for YEARS!! Don't even get me started on some new bill she was telling me about that was on hold with my insurance company since 2014, which she had no information about. It's 2017, "But she will have to look into that 2014 bill and get back to me! There's no communication over here and nobody is held accountable. They lie, they're very rude, doesn't listen to understand what you're trying to say, they just listen to respond on the defensiveness and aggression! What kind of business are they running here?! I had no idea I owed money to St. Peter's. I use under the impression that a company that pays my medical bills had paid the bill. I do not remember receiving a letter from these idiots saying I owed money. Then I get a judgement in the mail. I called and was told even if I made monthly payments they would continue with collection proceedings. I asked what would the collection proceedings? I was told they could not tell me. How stupid. They sent me a contract to pay monthly payments. I signed the contract and sent it back not knowing I had to send the first payment with the contract. I received a letter saying they had filed a judgement against me In the Albany County Court. I tried to explain I had no idea I had to send the first payment with the contract. They then wanted the whole amount due. I stated I can not pay the whole amount. They would no longer accept monthly payments. My husband called and talked to a nice woman named Jen. I got on the phone with her and she said I could make payments but they would continue with collection proceedings. How can they file a judgement against me when I am paying? I worked in a law office for many years and never in my life came across such rude, snotty and uncaring people. If the employees in the law office I worked for talked and acting the way these people do, they would have been fired. I worked for Solomon & Solomon for a brief period and would much rather deal with them. I gave them one star because you could not post the review without giving at least one star. read more
