I like to peruse a menu and dally over my meal, but in this case I knew what I wanted and the kitchen was fast. The recommended wine was well chilled and did accent the asparagus nicely. The meal plating was very attractive. The asparagus was peeled perfectly and a good flavor. A couple of stalks were still on the crisp side, but I like that too. The potatoes were well cooked. The fish was a large filet with a lightly crusted exterior but unfortunately a tad dry. The hollandaise was delicate but not quite enough for the portion. I also found a small bit of eggshell in it. The waiter reacted to these tiny flaws gracefully and presented me with a complimentary dessert- Herrencreme (a boozy vanilla crème dish). Absolutely delicious. It is on the pricy side but white asparagus and salmon are expensive ingredients. The meal and dessert took less than an hour and I didn't feel rushed. A tribute to a well organized team.

Finally, I need to talk about their pretzels. These are the best pretzels we've ever had. They were soft and fragrant. The salt on them isn't hard, but crumbles easily when pressed. Can't believe I had been eating supermarket bakery pretzels since we arrived in Munster for the past several days.
