They are two full squid tubes cut through and displayed like springs. We always argue over who gets to eat any left overs. The chips are large, crunchy and awesome. The garlic bread comes out on a pizza base and has cheese on it. The dining room is a little dark but it has an open fire in Winter. We always spend less than $80.00 including drinks. The meals are generous and fantastic. We have never had a bad meal there. Its great because sometimes we are the only people in the dining room. The only down side, is the female toliets are not within the main building - and they have cobwebs in them - big ones.

It is basically one of those towns that most people just drive through, except for me of course because I stopped here to check out the pub. It was a nice pub, having a nice country feel about it, however the beer selection was somewhat limited (though I suspect that the wine wasn't). The staff are always friendly, the order at the counter service is efficient and great for groups (none of that - "I had x,y,z... well who had the a,b,c" messiness that comes with splitting the bill). It can get incredibly busy and bookings are reccommended (even if you just call on the day or when you are on your way in) They host a weekly quiz night and there is a huge members base that participate frequently - a lot of local competition.
