This is an intriguing piece of art with a wonderful setting. It is located just off of the Dyer Mill Trail in Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park, with its back towards the woods. There is a nice parking area available at the Little Darby Picnic Area, and the trailhead can also be accessed from there. It's a beautiful trail, part of which follows along the Little Darby, and then you come across a small opening to the side of the trail, and there it is! I wish there was more information available about the art and artist. It looks like there might be a name on the bottom, but I couldn't quite make out what it said. Nonetheless, it's interesting to study the figures, topped with a large owl, on the pole, and to enjoy how it fits in with its surroundings. read more
