I went to 3 orthodontists that are in my company's employee discount program (they all have good rating on googles too). I felt disappointed and almost gave up on my braces wish because those orthodontists treated me like a client who they were about to rip off... I took a break from shopping around for about a month and decided to make appointment at Veil. I went in for a free consultation with the young orthodontist in glasses, he answered all my questions and gave me a quote. I requested 6 front clear ceramic bracket but i didn't get any extra charges (I asked the other 3 places and they all said I would be charged $200-300 more). My total payment was quoted and it was even cheaper than the 3 places I had gone to. I finally got my braces on in April and currently a patient. I am happy and felt guilty for thinking all physicians in orthodontic industry are there to rip me off. It was a right decision that I shopped around because I can see the differences in prices and the attitudes that I receive at Veil orthodontics. My treatment is only at beginning stage, I don't know how my result will look like at the end, but I think this place deserves more than my recommendation so I wrote this.

While seeing others they were really pushy at selling products and services. I generally do like going to the dentist so that adds an extra layer of anxiety. They did try to sell/recommend a few services but if I declined they moved on. Everyone I encountered was nice and professional. I had 2 appts within like 2 weeks and I chose the earliest time right at open 7am. Both appts went smoothly. The first one went a bit long as I was a new patient and had to have imaging and X-rays done. I like the monitors in the rooms that show the visuals as they explain things. Overall I like the setup of the rooms. Hopefully things continue to go well.

They empowered me, going above and beyond in educating me on my proposed treatment options, my orthodontic insurance benefits, and the general progression of treatment. They are very knowledgeable and did a great job helping me understand my insurance benefits (including submitting for HSA). Scheduling: this clinic gets busy -- rightly so, they're the best of the best! I'd recommend making your appointment as soon as you know when it should be. If you're scheduling an exam and they're out a bit, I'd still recommend to schedule -- having treatment with Dr Hicken and his team is 100% worth any wait. Demographics: Throughout my treatment, I saw people of all ages in treatment -- from little kids all the way up to grandparents and in between Guess there is never a wrong time to get the smile you've always desired! Technology: I didn't have to get the gross goop impression (I don't think this clinic does them anymore), because they have a super cool scanner that takes the impression and stitches together a 3D model of your teeth in under 5 minutes. It's so cool! Services: Invisalign --Actually, they're in the top 1% of Invisalign providers. Regular and clear braces. Various corrective appliances. COVID-19 safety measures: everyone is masked, patients and staff -- they'll instruct you when to remove and put back on your mask. Everyone is screened at each appointment -- cool and super easy electronic forms (very much appreciated!) Limiting number of people in the clinic. They're cleaning all the time! Super easy text messaging check-in. Honesty, with COVID and the safety measure they have in place, I felt more safe here than elsewhere in public. We were able to get a morning visit, just before school started. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and kind. The doctor we met with was very knowledgeable, and everything we needed to know was explained well. They said that we would wait for the new teeth to come in, and then start the work in his mouth so that we didn't put braces on twice. I appreciated that. They said that in about 9 months they would send out paperwork to begin the process. I felt they were very thorough, and we left knowing exactly how things would go.
