I've been waiting many, many years to write a review because this establishment is not a place that…read morewill treat you well if you don't bend over and kiss Dr. Pearson's ass. I mean that whole-heartedly. I knew posting a bad review would result in 1. financial issues 2. physical pain at my next appointment or 3. difficulties getting what I need from that office. Actually, all the above. Hey, if you have tons of money you can blow and you have an easy orthodontic case then by ALL means, go here. You'll be fine. But if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg, don't. If you have a difficult case (implants, crowns, surgeries, etc.) don't. Pearson is horrible at communicating with periodontal surgeons, dentists, and prosthodontists which is awful because the average person doesn't know dental speak so you can't explain something your orthodontist said to tell your periodontal surgeon as well as Pearson himself can. But he won't. I first got quoted for braces in 2003, couldn't afford them, again in 2006, got more expensive, and finally got started in 2009. My family paid for THREE girls to go through his office. I had expanders, then braces, rubber bands, and retainers. I had one implant surgery, wisdom teeth surgery, one surgery to pull down a tooth wedged up in my jaw, and one crown done as well. Needless to say, I know what I'm doing by now. So Dr. Pearson consistently did not listen to me or my sisters. When we had complaints about pain, he didn't care. I remember getting my braces off and he was trimming a crown around my tooth and I was jumping in my seat it hurt so bad. Even the dental assistant looked worried and she'd gasp like she was going to say something to him then wouldn't. When he left, she whispered to me that she could tell that hurt bad and why doesn't she help me ice it while I'm there? Pearson was hardly open when I was in highschool and that was 2009-2013. Now, when I call the office, they have ridiculous hours like Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8-3, Wednesday morning only and every-other Friday. Every holiday you can think of - they're closed that day and the two or three before AND after that holiday. It's outrageous! You can barely get in. No one wants braces longer than they need them. When I got my braces off in 2012, I tried a bridge instead of an implant (I got this elsewhere). It didn't work, so I got the implant. After telling Pearson to talk to my surgeon and dentist about stuff so EVERYBODY is on the same page, he didn't. I was told I didn't need a retainer. Doctor's advice, right? So I didn't have one. Needless to say my teeth get crooked and I have to get braces a second time for three months. Pearson and Mary - his assistant - told me my MOM should've told me to get a retainer. I expressly told him to collaborate with his peers on my health because that's his job. I called Pearson three or four times in the last month to ask them to forward my records to my new dental office. I'm finally 100% cut off from Pearson - paid off and everything - and he knew that so he didn't send the records. I asked to speak to Mary specifically - voicemail. I left countless messages. Eventually, they sent the records a couple hours before my dental appointment. But that's ridiculous. And the fact I couldn't get anybody on the phone because they're open about 15 hours a week - outrageous. Orthodontists lock you in. When you pick one, it's hard to switch. You're stuck going there for YEARS. If you switch you likely have to get your braces OFF and NEW ones put on. You'd have to pay for all that. So choose wisely when you're looking for an orthodontist! If I could go back, I'd have gone to Veil Orthodontics the first time. What a waste, Pearson. Shame on you.

My friend, a dentist, recommended Pearson Orthodontics and I am impressed by how much her teeth have corrected in a small amount of time with the use of retainers. She feels more confident and is more comfortable. In addition to the great orthodontics work, Dr. Bradley and his staff are friendly, and understanding. The environment is great for kids and my son, who does not need work done, wants to go along just to play the games and get a cookie. Thank you all for your great work! Highly recommended!

I was prepared to open the door to his office and find myself stuck in the 80's. In contrast, the office has taken strides to keep up with the times and it shows through the services provided and the layout of the office. I appreciate not overbooking appointments which allow the Doctor and staff to give me their undivided attention. The office is open in Richfield on Tuesday and then in Golden Valley on Wednesday and Thursday. The staff is very genuine and very helpful. In addition, they have a "lab" in-house that allows them to create same-day retainers. The last time I had to get a retainer, I had to make an additional trip to get the finished product. The fortune is in the follow up; After my initial visit, I received a letter in the mail detailing everything we went over and signed by Dr. Murdoch. It's nice to receive a warm friendly letter in a mail; one that does not include a bill attached. I also appreciate him giving me the minutes of our meeting, in case I forget. As with most orthodontists, they accept credit cards, appointments must be made in advance, and they accept most insurance. This is located in the same shopping center as Comcast. The parking lot provides lots of opportunities to park near the entrance.

Nathan highly recommends them to his friends. From mom (Lisa L, Plymouth MN)

Dr. Cook and his staff, I believe, project a small town feeling at their practice in a time of large impersonal large offices. I appreciate this and feel good when the front desk people, the hygienist (Kris), and Dr. Cook know me by name. I had to leave this practice for a while because of a dental plan that dictated where I could go..but now I look forward to returning since our new insurance plan now allows me and my family more choices. I choose Dr. Cook and his staff. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

He listened actively to my concerns and fears, and the treatment plan proved that he heard me 100%. His staff is efficient and attentive, the office is modern and lovely with private treatment rooms, not cubicles where you can hear what's going on with other patients. And the price was very reasonable and less than I anticipated. Dr Cook truly understands how to help scared people, not just how to clean, fix and otherwise work on teeth. And in my situation, that has made all of the difference. Thanks a million for getting me back on track seeing a dentist after many years of fear and trepidation.
