It's nice to walk in a place and they ask if you want your regular order. There was a specific tall bald gent in the back that'd smile warmly whenever I walked in. The day of my first ever visit, my grandad was telling me how he didn't particularly like the chips there. I wanted to chance it, and went in. I accidentally asked for a fries, and as it turns out they did fries AND chips. So the fries were being cooked in the back fresh. They were just right, and almost always are! I gave my grandparents the leftovers and needless to say my Grandad was all turned around on his view. We've got our chips fries from there ever since. And this review has made me hungry.

But even better is the little shop itself. Set off from the street, it seems like a place forgotten by time. I look forward to every trip to England for a chance to return.
