I officially love them!!…read more Last night I was freezing cold and couldn't see any of the cab firms that I usually travel with so jumped into an Inner City car. The price they quoted me to get home from the city was a pound more than I usually payed but I didn't argue. The car was extremely clean, had comfy leather seats and the taxi driver was very friendly so I wasn't going to kick up a fuss. Some drivers in Leeds speed way over the limit and you feel your life is in their hands at times. However in this car I felt very safe! The car dropped me off at home and I was pleassed with the service. Half an hour later I went to get my wallet and it wasn't there. Please understand not only did it have £20 in, all my cards, my i.d, my credit cards..EVERYYTHING...but it is genuine Burberry and worth more than it's contents. I was not happy!!! I turned my house upside down in a rage, realized it was in the taxi,then rang Inner City. They are obviously a very honest company as they said they had it and said they would drop it off for me. I was so over the moon I cannot explain. Inner City are a trust worthy company offering a safe journey home. It may cost a couple of quid more but it is worth it for the piece of mind that you are in good hands.

They are based in Woodhouse so are very handy if you live in this area but operate all over the city. Last time I wanted to get to the station with god-speed the driver asked me how much I usually pay and charged me that rate - a fair deal for us both in my opinion. I wasn't ripped off, as you can be with some taxis in Leeds, and he got a fiver for what was essentially a 10 minute wizz to the station. And he avoided the traffic by taking the sneaky back roads into town through Little London!

As I was travelling alone with my two children to Liverpool airport, they sent a lady driver - the first time I have ever been driven by one. They were also able to give me a fixed price for journeys in to Manchester and the airport. Both of these prices were competitive. The receptionist is helpful and the taxi's are always punctual. So as another road user I had the misfortune of…read morecoming across one of this firms drivers today in a petrol filling station and honestly, after he used the filling station to cut through at speed nearly taking me out, then decided to put his window down and verbally abuse me, call me disgusting and derogatory names, swearing and abusing me I truly am disgusted. He was asked by a man who overheard this what he said. The man made it clear he had heard what was said. The driver ignored him. The passenger in my car also said something but was ignored. My passenger was a male. It is obvious this driver gets his kicks from shouting at and abusing females. Absolutely disgusting, down right disrespectful behaviour and I would honestly highly recommend steering clear from this company. Please also be aware. I phoned the business and was told there was no manager. There was someone shouting the responses in the background telling the lady who I was on the phone to what to say. Being that I was not far from the firms "Registered Business Address" I decided to go to the location as I truly was horrified by the drivers behaviour and wanted to put in a complaint before it came to this. The address DOES NOT EXIST. Please note that the address that this firm use is the address of something called "Gazza's Gaff" which on the day was totally closed. All the shutters down and absolutely no sign of anything there. We asked 4 people in the area, 3 who were local business owners. One directly next door to the so called location of the taxi rank. This was not the address and no one had EVER heard of it. It looks like this is potentially being run from someone's house? Now please note this is NOTHING to do with the Covid-19 situation as you would still have seen a premises there albeit closed. However there was absolutely no sign of this ever existing. Please be very cautious ahold you use this firm. However I would strongly advise against it. Having read the reviews left on many other platforms this truly is not an isolated incident.

Was not happy was stick in manchester airport for 2 and half hours being fobbed off by the company telling us he was in the airport looking, when he was actually somewhere on the motorway wouldn't if minded if we knew as we could of gone to get something to eat while we waited instead of walking all around trying to find him and he wasn't there. Apart from that mishap never had any other problems,and i would use this service again because its a good price.

Doesn't usually take too long to get a taxi, although be prepared to queue in the cold for a while if you go at a busy time, such as when the clubs are closing. All in all I would probably have to say that they offer the best value for money taxis and a safe way to get home.
