This mall is ok. Decent size but like the other comments there were a lot of stores that either closed. The food court was alright. Decent selection but I took the family here when we visited Sesame Place. It's close by but walking through it felt very empty and the biggest complaint was that it is not well maintained. There were so many trash cans and buckets collecting water from all the leaks in the roof. A lot of the walking paths are blocked by these containers. I have 2 kids and we visited the little arcade there which seems to be outdated. The mall seems to just be waiting to be closed. Overall experience here wasn't the greatest. Not worth driving out of your way to visit this place. read more

I stopped by the mall today to SEE SANTA, Christmas decorations, pick up some white elephant surprise presents . I was able to get what I needed at Macy's and the Norman's Hallmark store. I was looking for some nice chocolate and snacks and to see the Clinique counter specials at Macy's. I'm very happy to see Santa. There was only one child in line to see Santa.. I guess there are some Santa traditions that I've just changed so much but for me I'm happy to see it while I'm still kicking. We all got photos. Service was pretty magnificent. There was lots of staff throughout the mall. There were some half off specials too, which were wonderful. I'm a big fan of this historical mall.!! read more

This mall has NO HEAT on in the winter and they DO NOT PLOW the parking lot when it snows.

The Mall is sad. It is not being maintained. 2 or 3 of the escalators were down when I was there. Stores are closed without requisite signage. Bye! The mall is not welcoming and I don't plan on going back soon. read more

Pretty decent mall. Great stores to shop around, I love the fact that it has a Build a Bear which is one of my favorite stores to go in with my daughter. Pretty good food court with many choices, of pizza, Chinese, ice cream, and burgers. The last time I was here, was about a month ago and it wasn't crowded at all. They are taking COVID19 precautions, people were wearing masks and there as a lot of sanitizer stations. read more

Most of the interesting stores have closed, victims of online shopping. Dead as a doornail. Dark and dreary. Old, worn, musty, rotting, decaying. Even so, it is still technically a mall and has a few worthwhile stores remaining. And the neighborhood is beautiful, clean, and relatively safe. But I suggest that you eat at one of the name brand restaurants a mere few blocks away rather than at the no-name joints within the mall. read more

Came for the AMC Theater and overstayed my welcome with a visit to the nearby mall. Good thing I was masked since no one had to witness my wide-mouth gape at what I saw. Oxford Valley is a mausoleum, barely functioning as empty stores beckon bored pedestrians that I can count one one hand. To be honest malls have always depressed me even going way back to the days when cut-rate cobbler Thom McAn, Radio Shack and the cheese log folks at Swiss Colony despoiled every floorplan. Now with mediocre goods available at your fingertips for same day delivery, the only rationale for a visit seems to be a hyperactive sense of maudlin curiosity. So, here I am. Sam Goody is gonzo, replaced by an eyebrow threader (Ouch!) While Aeropostale wheezes towards extinction I better get some cash... at the Bitcoin ATM no less... WTF is a Bitcoin ATM? Sure there's an Auntie Anne's but now there's a dentist just off the food court. Smart placement, at least someone here has a brain. Where's Godiva, where's Borders, where's Yankee Candle? At this point, I'll even settle for Sears. Everything just seems way off as my mind tries to channel 1995 but the great retail winnowing of 2020 just won't let my fantasy take hold. Oh yeah, I never did get those Bitcoins as I ponder a visit to the in-mall astrologer who can only tell me she's getting sleepy and sees a giant wrecking ball in her future. Overall, this is a very good mall. It's got all the typical middle-end shops - Foot Locker, Spencers, Payless Shoes, and a few higher-end ones like Charlotte Russe and Banana Republic. High occupancy, too, minus the old Strawbridge's. It's close to Sesame Place and lots of shopping along Old Lincoln Highway. The outside seems a bit more dated than the inside, but I'm not one to complain about dating anyway: It's the overall quality of the mall that matters, and there are plenty of lousy malls with new interiors and exteriors. The food court is better than many area malls like Quakerbridge, though that's not saying much. Fortunately, there are plenty of alternatives a short distance outside the mall if you so choose. read more

I grew up going to this mall and I miss the spiral ramp which got you from the first to second level! When they renovated years ago, they took it out and put in a staircase and elevator. I go to the mall rarely anymore, but it nice to peoplewatch when I do. Hard to believe I was once one of those many teenagers bouncing around with their friends at the mall! The mall has your typical stores, but nothing special for me...I'd have to go to King of Prussia for them. I agree with another Yelper that it does not take too long to get around the whole mall. Oh, dear. What happened here? When I left the area, they had just opened a new food court with palm trees. Most of those places are gone and the great pizza place downstairs is gone. Macy's is still there, but one of the other anchor stores is gone. They have Abercrombie, Abercrombie & Fitch, and the tomato company, Hollister. (You'll have to look to see what *really* happens in Hollister, CA. Domino's showed us part of it.) Simon has kept the mall going but it's barely there. I'm betting more people go to King of Prussia every week. read more

A mall is a mall is a mall. While this is closest to home, I generally find malls to be sterile barns. But, for the associated AMC theaters across the parking fields, a few restaurants in the circle around it, and many medical offices, I would likely never frequent the place. It seems that malls are a 20th Century phenomenon whose time may have passed them by, unless they are reconceptualized and reconfigured to meet the more dynamic needs of families, and consumers. A sense of community purpose is required that is both traditional and state of the art. Until that happens most malls will continue to lose stores and visitors. Just as the horse and buggy were replaced by the automobile, and the urban core was redistributed to the burbs (and now contracting again), the mall will eventually evolve into a new kind of commercial center than includes everything the old village maintained, but wired into today. read more

Better than Neshaminy, but not by much. Their stores tend to be stocked well, and there's a good selection to pick from there. The design isn't confusing or tedious to navigate, so that's a plus. It keeps losing a lot of it's stores though, and the end near the closed Boscovs is quite depressing. A very 'meh' mall. read more

I don't know why there aren't better reviews fo this Macy's. I work near there so I go by to see what they have on sale. I think that their sales are great. Better than a Nordstoms of Neiman Marcus. Sometimes it is hard to find a salesperson, but they don't hound you like other stores where the salepeople make commission. I usually only shop for clothes, but they also have kitchen stuff and bedding. Its all pretty good quality stuff and like I said before, I wait on a sale before buying anything. read more

This mall is not much to look at on the outside, but it definitely gets the job done. You have heaps of shopping from all the usual suspects, a Starbucks, some big box retailers, and, predictably, a sub par food court. Normally I'd give a place like this 3 stars because it's pretty par for the course. However, what adds that extra star for me is the stuff they have for little kids; a pretty decent sized playground, quite a few coin operated rides, an arcade, and a bungee site. While these are not world class facilities, they definitely keep the lil ones entertained on cold or rainy days. read more

Hey Yelp. I'm giving this place an 5 Star for the best mall ever. Love their store's. Anyway i heard it through the grapvine that they are closing all Macy's store and a lot of JCP Penny, but and yes there is a but unfortunately JCP PENNY will still be OPENED. PEOPLE NEED TO GET THEIR STORY STRAIGHT. There is an article that saids OXFORD VALLEY MALL JC PENNEY will be open FOREVER, because of the simple fact that my HUSBAND WORKS IN JCP PENNY OPTICAL and HE TALKED TO HIS HEAD SUPERVISOR. ALSO Why would it be Closed when they make so much money and that their CORPORATE OFFICE is right next to it? They are saying 18 stores will be closing down all Macy's and JC Penney but where my husband works at IS NOT CLOSING DOWN. It's a decent suburbian mall that's usually clean. Good sushi in the food court! There's a movie theatre in the complex that I frequent, too- a Regal. Nothing to write home about, but dependable when you need to shop for something. read more

It is not bad, but it is not too many people and the stores are not so trilling either. On other hand it is overall clean and it is not very expensive. There is Mall in NJ close by that is much better. The food court has too much of the same food - they definitely can add more choices. The kids play area is on the small side as well. read more

I had an appointment arrived and was told to pick 5 dresses. We picked 5 dresses and were put in a tiny makeshift dressing room. My daughter and the dresses hardly fit let alone me. There was no way for me to even help her get into her dress. I asked the associate if we could get a bigger dressing room when one opened up and there was one available to move to . Not sure why we were not put there originally . I moved us to the next dressing room With the dresses and my daughter 1/2 stuck in a dress she couldn't get on without help. The dressing room still had the dresses from the person before in it. I tried multiple times to get help from anyone and there was no one around. I finally did find an sales associate and asked if she coukd help find a dress and she basically ignored me. The only correspondence I had with a sales associate was to tell me my appointment was over. Horrible experience for my daughters first prom dress shopping spree. Total waste of time. I am surprised the average rating is above a 3. If I could rate this mall a negative number, I would. But unfortunately, 1 is the lowest. Let me clarify why Oxford Valley Mall deserves a 1. * It is aesthetically unappealing. The dingy atmosphere does nothing to positively enhance your shopping experience. * It has a dismal selection of stores. The variety is pathetic. No H&M?! No Neiman Marcus? Not even a Nordstrom? * It is lacking in size. I can probably run around the entire mall in 10 minutes. read more

A mall that was once 6/5 stars for me has, unfortunately, degraded beyond a state of decay. This mall used to be second only to King of Prussia in southeastern PA, but that economy did a total number on it. Malls in general are dying all over the country as people buy more and more things online, but the fact that this mall can't keep quality stores is concerning. FYE, Five Below, Sbarro and many others are no longer here. The mall used to be packed on any given day of the year - forget it at the holidays. I was in there the other day and saw almost no one. It's truly disappointing. The stores may just be a matter of the economy, but the mall isn't it good structural shape either. The roads around the mall are pathetic and constantly cause flat tires. There is a parking lamp that fell over last December that is still laying in the middle of the lot today. I would love for business to pick up here because this mall is a vital part of Langhorne's identity, but I don't think the mall's management team is prepared to fix these problems to allow businesses to fight for spots again. You'd think its because there are no storefronts available, but there were at least three vacancies yesterday. Lower rent and cut your losses. Having grown up in the Philly suburbs, I've gone to Oxford Valley MANY times, but I can't say I know every inch of it like I know Willow Grove. In fact, when one of my cousins used to work here at one of the department stores, I'd prefer Oxford Valley over any other mall just so I could go and see if he was there! He has since left; however I still enjoy shopping there. It's pretty much the only mall in the Philly metro area with a Delia's store...I can remember the first time I told a friend of mine in California that one of my local malls had a Delia's store--she freaked out because she thought Delia's was only available through their catalogue. I, for one, am NOT a catalogue shopper when it comes to clothes, so having an actual Delia's store somewhat close by is amazing--I go there for vintage graphic tees and the occasional tote bag. There's also a Five Below--best store ever! Random but great selection for unbeatable prices :) Best part, it's right next to Sesame Place :) read more

Just moved to this area from king of prussia and this mall makes it really hurt. It's so dead and tiny with really strange folks walking around. It's just very depressing here and I don't like it. Next time I'll make the 45 minute drive back the KoP. I like my shopping experience to be fun and full of things to see. This place is a graveyard. read more

Nice enough mall. They have most of the essential stores, so it's easy to find what you're looking for. Nice food court and there are a lot of surrounding restaurants. Not too many high end stores here, which is good most of the time and bad on those special occasions that warrant splurging. read more

This is the better of the malls in my area. Living in NE Philadelphia, I dont have many options. There is Roosevelt Mall. . . shoot me first. Then there is Franklin Mills. . . shoot me again. Then there is Neshaminy, better but is small and not a great amount of stores. Then comes Oxford Valley. When I was younger, I thought this mall was huge and i thought it was the best. Today, I still enjoy going to this mall. It has a great food court and 2 levels of decent stores. I would go to this mall over the others I named in an instant. No doubt about that. Just like any place, I avoid any mall Friday and Saturday nights. Its usually a mad house of annoying people. read more

I took the kids to the mall over the weekend and was pretty surprised and depressed at just how badly it's gone downhill. One more reason to shop locally in Newtown. read more

This 2 story mall is perfect for what you are looking for in a mall. It is VERY big with many stores and a decent sized food court. Pretty much every store has a 50% off sign on it, as many people are online shopping these days. Many stores have closed (some large department stores) which leaves vacant spots through the mall. Although, they are nicely covered up so it doesn't look bad. The quality of people are also nice as none are a "tough" crowd or rowdy in the mall. I would recommend for sure!! read more
