Stocking a very carefully selected range of brands that aren't your usual suspects, the store blends well known labels with more emerging ones. Think Lover, Antipodium and Dr Denim alongside Bento, Chronicles of Never and Triwa. No longer a lone oasis of quality, if you're making a stop at One White Lie, make sure you also take a stroll around Yarraville and stop in at some of the other boutiques in the area.

It is kind of hard to see what you are looking at sometimes because there is just that much stuff in there. On the other hand, there are items in every price bracket so you're sure to find at least one thing that works for you. There were two dogs lazing around behind the counter with a staff member and they were just adorable. I was a bit more excited to see them than I was to see the shop but I doubt that they are always there. For anyone who doesn't like dogs, there was a gate to keep them from running around the store and they both looked pretty old - so don't let that deter you from coming. There was no music playing in the store and shopping in silence was a bit bizarre. I guess if it is full of kids it would be noisy enough not to need music - but I have never seen it packed.

Aussie Disposals seemed to be fairly reasonable across the board with tents, clothing and camping and hiking accessories being, well pretty cheap for a lack of a better word. I have to say that the sales assistants were really helpful, and weren't judgmental at all that I was standing around and asking them what certain items were and what they did (I obviously knew what a tent was).
