I went here for my 21st birthday! My husband and I had never been before and I decided I really wanted to! I'm so glad I chose Oz because it was amazing! They covered me because it's my birthday which was so nice! Then a REGULAR overheard it was my birthday and gave me $100 in ones! The atmosphere and clientele is so incredible! All the girls wished me happy birthday and were so sweet and pretty! Our waitress was super kind too and made us feel so welcome! Why are we limited to 5 stars?? I absolutely LOVE this club. My husband and I have been coming here for a few years, and I had never been to a strip club before coming here (at the ripe old age of 45!!). I had no idea what to expect and honestly feared the worst. WAS I WRONG OR WHAT? Firstly, as a woman, I feel very safe, comfortable, validated, and valued here. The staff is phenomenal -- from the moment you walk in the door you are treated like royalty. They even remembered us when we came back for our second visit which I thought was top notch. Makes you feel special. The dancers are amazing and the vibe is just...awesome. I love that I can have a sexy date night with my husband and it doesn't matter what you look like or what you wear, you're in a judgement free zone where everyone is just out to have a good time. I love coming here b/c I can dress up in snazzy little numbers, throw on some glitter and feel fancy. There is a ZERO PERCENT creepy factor here. Again, as a lady, my initial concern was how *i* (not a model ha ha) would feel or be perceived in this sea of beautiful women ---- There is nothing sleazy here, no hint of danger, no creepers. While I haven't visited solo (yet), I would feel completely comfortable coming here alone that's just how safe and comfy it is. Meeting David the manager at the front door was a blast after being told I was from out of town. As soon as the small talk hit, I was immediately treated like royalty. Even covering my first drink! Ask for him if you ever stop by for the first time! While there are a lot of girls, not all are created equal! I have never in 22 years of gentlemen's club experience, have I ever left a club with souvenirs. NEVER! LoL We we're gifted two hats and calendars of some of the girls. This trip was so much fun. The girls that we interacted with were very personable (yeah I know they were strippers and that's their job) but I think it's important to mention it. The drinks were moderately priced and the serving staff were very attractive. I was designated driver so I didn't get to taste any drinks, but my partner did and they said they were pretty good. I went to Oz on a Tuesday afternoon thinking that they would have maybe a handful of girls like the other surrounding clubs but to my shock they had 30 girls dancing! I am overly disappointed and dissatisfied with this club and it's owner. I came from out of town, and I tried to come and support the girls that was working at the club and when I was the bar i was talking with some of the customers, and I guess some type discrimination from having a simple conversation nothing more, me and my friend was escorted out and couldn't even finish our drinks. I went to talk to the manager to see what was the issue and what they thought we may have done wrong. But I never knew you can not go to a club support other women, and get kicked out because a customer in the same club you are in is having a conversation with you. So yes I came to write my review because I am not happy and will never visit this place ever again. And another note is that, the owner tries to make up for all this negativity that has been coming towards the club but all of is true as I have witnessed his behavior and lies he have said such as "me being a $75 prostitute" because I was having a conversation with a customer in the club. I will be also reaching out to some of the girls as well that has been mistreated and also taking advantage of from this club, which is why they are also under a huge lawsuit. Being a single woman looking to spend money and have a good time it's hard to find a club that doesn't stereotype you for trying to steal customers and business. First let me say that I LOVE STRIP CLUBS. And honestly this is the only strip club in Florida I have ever been to and that I'll probably ever go to. Why? Because it never lets me down. The dancers are beautiful and very good at their jobs. I will say that there are some dancers that are better at giving private dances to women than others. That's totally fine, completely understandable. The drinks are pricey, but strong. The bar staff and waitresses are friendly and attentive. The bathroom (at least the ladies room) is one of the cleanest bathrooms I've ever had the luxury of tinkling in and the attendant in there is super nice. I've only had one negative experience here, where a dancer "scammed" me out of money (scam is actually a strong word, it was more like intimidation). I bought my friend a dance for her birthday, and the dancer said it was a 2 for 1 special (the DJ announced it as well) so I paid the $40 upfront and they went back to the private dance rooms. This was a dancer I've never seen before, and I've been here enough to know most of them by this point. My other friend and I waited at the bar for them to return, and we saw them come out after the 2 songs. The dancer left and found another customer for a dance, but as she walked past us she came up to me and said I owed her another $40. I thought she was kidding so I laughed it off, but she told me again I owed her $40. She said my friend was having such a good time that they stayed back for an extra song, so I owed her for another dance. I saw them come out after the 2 songs, so I was confused. I asked my friend about this, and she said she only got the 2 dances for the 2 for 1 special and the dancer hadn't said anything to her about a third song/dance. The dancer kept insisting that I owed her for another dance, and wouldn't leave, and I really hate confrontation so I gave her the $40 and she quickly left and avoided us for the rest of the night. Other than that one issue, I still love this place and recommend it to all my stripper loving friends. My only real complaint is that they have a very limited beer selection. My personal preference is for a Guinness and Harp black and tan, but alas no dark beer to be had. I am a truck driver and occasionally roll through Tampa, and on the rare occasion that I know in advance that I won't have to drive for more than 12 hours and can imbibe, I like a good full bodied beer shared with good company. Since it's not a common occurrence, and my expenses are well below my means, I don't mind paying a premium for a pleasant break from the grind. That being said, I have got to give props to the lady behind the bar. I was severely disappointed by the skinny beer list, the lack of a kitchen, and the roster of the night not having many of the types of girls that I tend to find attractive. However, in spite of all that she still went out of her way to make sure that overall I had an experience that I would love to repeat the next time I take a 34 hour or longer break in this town. I am stuck between 2 and 3 stars. My wife and I have been here a few times and I'm not sure we will go back. There are a few really good dancers that know how to move, then you have the majority of them who stand still against the pole facing it and they just bounce their ass. They want money for that? Anyway we like watching the good dancers and we love getting couples lap dances. We only had one dancer come up to us the entire night, which is a shame because we had money to spend and we usually always tip after a good dance The worst part of it was the drink prices. We sat down and ordered 2 vodkas and water and it was 26.50. Then we ordered 2 more and it was 24.00. Then my wife saw they were advertising Grey Goose for 7.00, so she ordered that and water and it was 11.00. Who makes they prices? Is it whatever the waitress what's it to be? Don't advertise something and charge something else. All in all it is a nice place with a few good dancers and very random and very pricey drinks. Don't waste your money here, apparently this place is doing well enough to "refuse business to anyone for any reason" My boyfriend was denied entry for no reason. My sister and I were so confused. The bouncer said he "didn't like the way he walked in". He wasn't stumbling, slurring, or displaying any other signs of being over served alcohol. We even clarified to make sure we were talking about the same person. The bouncer said "the guy in the green shirt". I pointed out my boyfriend was wearing a blue shirt but the bouncer was indeed referring to him. So he wasn't observant enough to notice what color he was wearing but he was able to observe and determine he wasn't eligible to enter the bar? I asked to speak with the manager and asked if he could provide a reason for why we weren't allowed to enter. His response was "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason" I've been here many times and always spend several hundred each visit. I guess they would rather charge a $20 cover for creeps who sit back, watch and don't tip the workers than have people here who actually spend money supporting their employees and their business. This place used to be my favorite and I absolutely will never return. Tampa has plenty of strip clubs. If you read all the negative reviews here you can see the owner responds in a combative and insulting manner to negative customer reviews.
