I don't recommend trying this for the typical California Roll or Futo Maki fan or "aucthrup" (all-U-can-eat) wolverine since it would be an unpardonable waste. Not to be discouraged, I set my hibachi aside and ordered from the sushi bar. Fish was fresh. Salmon and Tuna were particularly good, and wasabi was not overpowering. Service was average. Hostess's and waiters' attitudes were pretentious. Then again, TEFAF was being held in town that week which can attribute to airs being particularly high. Not great enough to rave, but not bad enough to delete from my restaurant dossier.

Unfortunately, Leuven is not blessed with an array of food, as its more general attention is drawn to the beer scene. So, let me say that I've been to this place at least 30x and I've probably eaten every item of sashimi, nigiri, and half of the rolls. I still go back. It's cheap. And you can drink Stella for 2 euros while you fill your gullet with fresh fish for 5. No kidding. The à la carte is cheap. They can be really busy some weekends, so reserve a place, or prepare to wait. Oh and the people are super nice, despite the busy scene.
