There is a large Chinatown gate at the entrance, and the Chinatown occupies about 8 city blocks, which is bigger than some Chinatowns I have seen in the U.S. Of course you'll find a lot of touristy shops selling Asian related items like anime dolls, but this place has much more to offer. There are restaurants selling all kinds of Chinese cuisine - Sichuan, Cantonese, bubble tea, dim sum, hot pot, and more. There are even Korean and Japanese restaurants mixed in. The food options are a mix of takeout only food stalls and fancier sit down restaurants, which I found to be very authentic. And the supermarkets here actually sell snacks and groceries that are imported from China. This was definitely the best Chinatown I have seen in all of Latin America.

Here you'll find everything from souvenirs to iphone repair shops to a fish market to home goods. It's a cool spot to walk along and check out the murals, stop to grab a bite to eat, or drink as eateries are plenty and usually have some cool art. Chances are that of you are looking for a certain spice or condiment from back home and you can't find it at Dia, Coto or Carre Four, you'll find it at one of the two main super market stores here but you'll pay a hefty premium for those imported goods. While there's a tourist booth, it'd be cool for the place to have a directory and map laying out the area and points of interest.
