I have been going to Candace consistently for the past couple of years. The last couple of times I…read morewent to have my hair colored, it has not turned out how I was expecting. I usually wear my hair a dark red color but the last time Candace colored it red she used a higher volume and it was rather bright for my liking. I dealt with it and decided next time I would just changed my hair color. I was very excited to get my hair colored a fresh color, I counted down the days. I explained that I wanted my hair to be a rich dark brownish/red. I even showed her the picture so hopefully we would be on the same page this time. I specifically said I do not want my hair to look black. Of course my hair a shade above black. I cried for a few days. I feel so ugly and horrible with such dark hair. I just want to hide out until my hair can be fixed. I asked Candace what I should do because I am uncomfortable with my hair being so dark and such a cool tone. She colored it a 3N. Like should I have it lightened? She said she would just wash it a couple of times but she said not to lighten it. I asked her if she would be willing to fix my hair because it turned out exactly how I didn't want it to look. She just said okay. From her reaction I felt like she didn't care that I am unhappy and feel ugly with this hair. Like she can't be bothered to fix it. I just really expected her to say something kind to me, like "oh i am sorry you don't like it, sure come back in and I will fix it." I mean it's my hair, why should I have to be stuck with a color I hate! It's not I like I was asking for it to be fixed for free. I understand misunderstanding happen but I really wasn't expecting to be disregarded. Guess my opinion on my hair means nothing.
