I came to her with three random ideas--Sally O'Malley, Miss Hannigan, and kitty cats--and she turned them into a playful, immersive wonderland. Guests walked the red carpet through velvet ropes like it was a NYC premiere, surrounded by pure joy. Every detail was spot-on: Miss Hannigan tending bar, kitty cats peeking around corners, and Sally O'Malley touches everywhere. Lisa even surprised me with Annie wigs, a camel, and the crowd favorite: glowing hula hoops. Every nook and cranny became a picture-perfect moment. We didn't have a photo booth rented but they created one for us with a couch, and balloon arch with it. Perfection! While there I also found out that they do rentals on flowers! They had some bouquets out and we fell in love, they were perfect for our wedding!!! They decorated for my shower and my wedding/reception. 20 out of 10, I cannot recommend them enough! Call. Book. As a little background, I work in sales and I have for several years now…read more I can't tell you how much I despise the slicked-hair salesmen routine when you can tell the guy will tell you anything just to get you to buy the guitar. On the opposite side of that, it's awesome when you find someone who has a true passion for what they are selling. The later is what you'll find at Uncle Ike's. I'm not sure who the name of the gentleman was who helped me (I think it might have been Kevin?), but he was an older guy but boy does he love guitars. I should briefly digress and say that I wrote to their email address online, and heard back from them *within an hour*. Talk about awesome customer service! As I was telling him a bit about what I was looking for, he armed me with a TON of knowledge about each guitar we looked at. He took me through the very basics of what features of the guitars differentiate the pricing, and then gave me a ton of background of the companies. His knowledge seemed endless. He knew where every guitar factory was, what kind of guitars come out of there, what era each guitar was popular in, and so on. He was completely content to talk to me for almost an hour going over everything. One of my favorite things was that he couldn't seem to keep his hands off the guitars! Every time he was talking about one, he would pull it down, jam out on it just a little bit while we were talking to give me an idea of the sound. He never once asked about my price range or anything, and seemed more interested in teaching me about guitars in general which was great. I could have been a well-informed buyer anywhere I went after I stopped into Uncle Ike's, but of course I wanted to take my business there. It's rare to find a great salesperson in most places, but certainly go to Uncle Ike's if you're interested in finding the right guitar. The staff there was awesome, and made me feel completely confident in my purchase. I love my new guitar! Now I just have to find a name for it...

The other posters were absolutely correct, this IS an awesome venue. The venue is out in the country, the drive to get there is scenic. (Note: The drive is out in the country on twisty country roads where your phone may get confused. Our Garmin gps did, as did several other guest's phones. A map is a good idea to include with the invitation!) The grounds are lovely. The wedding chapel itself was an old country church that was moved to the property and restored, and is very quaint. As you'd expect from a "Farm", there's several barns and outbuildings, and all are nicely landscaped. (Note: The grounds, while beautiful, are certainly not ADA compliant, and may be a concern for mobility-challenged guests. Golf-carts may be available, but make sure before you need one. Others have mentioned the free-range burros and dogs, and this certainly was unique, except when one or more guests stepped in poop) There was some confusion about where to go once arriving at the venue. A "Jones/Smith Wedding THIS WAY" sign might have helped. The reception was in an enormous tent, which is wonderful in nice weather but may not be quite as nice if the weather doesn't cooperate. Be sure that you have a "Plan B" in case of a thunderstorm! No wedding venue will be perfect, so no matter where you go, ask the difficult questions as well as the easy ones!
