Not the best place to play soccer…read more.... There is no AC ! And with games going on constantly and tons of people watching.. All inside a small facility .. It gets musty, smelly, hot and humid... I leave that place feeling sick and sometimes nauseous from the feet/armpit/ass/ and sweat smell. The people that run this place have no managerial experience ... They sell soccer shoes, clothing and accessories but constantly change everything around, one week stuff is there being sold next week its all gone, the week after they only have shoes???? Now they sell metro phones inside? Soccer matches are disorganized ... For example there have been times when the other teams have cancelled.. And we were never told.. Everyone shows up and we are told to wait 30 mins just in case that by some miracle a team shows up to play against us... :( also I guess some people here have connections to the owners and they can pick and choose who refs for their games... Wth is up with that?? Games have become invalid and we are forced to play again and are given bs excuses.... It is however more affordable then other facilities it's 5vs5 and it's soccer.. So I guess that's worth 2 stars

I can understand why people would prefer an indoor arena in Las Vegas because some days it is just plain and simple too hot to play outside! But with that being said this place has no air conditioning!! There was a big fan next to the bleachers we asked the nice girl who was working to turn on and that made it comfortable for us, but I can only imagine the players were dying out there!! I also didn't like that you couldn't bring your own drinks into the arena, like not even alcohol we just had water for the players. They sell water inside but I would rather just bring our own. The staff was very nice, and we will continue to go watch our friends play, we will just dress a lot lighter!

I have been following the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour for a couple years now…read moresince Dec 2023. Thank you to my dear work colleague and friend... you know who you are. Darling Tennis Center (DTC) was home for the 2024 PPA Rate Championships presented by Skechers and 2025 PPA Rate Vegas Cup presented by Holland America. I was at this center both years as a spectator for the pickleball tournaments. DTC has 23 beautiful tennis courts. Staff was friendly. They did an amazing job converting the tennis courts to pickleball courts for the events. I didn't get a chance to play on any of the courts. I hope to play on them one fine day. The grounds were clean and well maintained. Restroom facilities are available throughout. The center court is amazing. It has bleachers on the west and east sides. I got the opportunity to sit on both sides. The sun will shine and the shade will eventually come. I had to move a few times during the matches to avoid the sun at certain times of the day. Free parking is plenty. It is shared with the soccer fields. Sometimes soccer events do take place, hence, parking lot will get really packed. Do come early to snatch a close parking spot on championship days. Otherwise, you may have to walk a bit from parking lot to entrance. I have enjoyed my visits very much. It's always fun and exciting to watch pro players play the spectacular sport of pickleball. I look forward to coming back to DTC for future PPA tournaments in the years to come. Darling Tennis Center has become home for the PPA Vegas pickleball tournaments, and I've spent a…read morefair amount of time at this facility... They do a great job transitioning the courts from tennis to pickleball, the staff is friendly, the restrooms are clean enough compared to others, and the mountain views are pretty beautiful too... There is plenty of parking for both this facility and that soccer fields on the same campus, which ironically, I've spent plenty of time at as well.

There is unfortunately little to no AC in the building. I don't know if this is a temporary thing, or if that's just how it is. The tables are also pretty close to together with no barriers so you are constantly grabbing balls for other people. Still had a great time though. Will 100% come back when I'm in town next

This club focuses on Epee training, so no Foil or Saber training here. We dropped in on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Open Fencing, greeted by one of the coaches and staff - very nice and friendly. (Most of the fencing community is ) Our teen joined some fencers on footwork exercises and then had several bouts with members ranging from teens to veterans in open fencing. Everyone there was great and welcoming. Our kid had so much fun practicing with everyone and meeting them. It was a great experience to train and get feedback from coaches and fencers. We're very happy to come here for practices during our visits.

Recently I found this Yelp location. My goodness the negativity is overwhelming. Every Saturday I see 1,000s of kids smiles and it really does go to show: the internet, particularly Yelp, is not real life. Bottom line: the best youth sports league in Las Vegas is NYS.

They have a lot of creative events, such as the annual fun run/potluck I participated in this morning. Most of the races/fun runs they sponsor are either free or minimal cost ($3-$5). To encourage kids to run, kids 10 and under are free. In my experience, every child that runs gets a ribbon at the end of a race. They also list all the running events in Las Vegas so if you are looking for a race to run, it's a good website to check out. Membership is $20/year but you don't need to be a member to participate. However, you need to be a member to get credit for the Gran Prix Championship Series which gives members points for races and events they participate in or volunteer for. At the end of the year, you can win running apparel and other prizes! The track club also has a variety of training runs throughout the week. A wide variety of ages and abilities participate in the training runs, fun runs, and races so there is always someone to run with (or compete with) regardless of your abilities. For those taking up running as a New Year's resolution, this might be a good resource to help keep the resolution.
