This bank sent our title to our car regular mail and it never showed up and I called them and they said there is nothing they can do. I have to spend my time trying to get a replacement title. would not recommend this bank to anyone. read more

Every decision they have made with credit cards has gone from bad to worse. Do not trust them with your money! I am going to a different bank. Now they use a third party for your credit cards. The payment does not hit for many many business days! Plus it takes several days for your payment to process from your checking or savings so you do not in fact know how much money you have. Banked with them for years. Always was a smooth process. Then, about five years ago, they just gave worse and worse service. Moved their credit cards to a really bad third party operation, Elan Financial. They cap how much money you can transfer via Zelle which I understand for fraud reason but it's a pain to get an exception made. Just closed my account and eight flipping days later they are giving me the run around on my cashier's check they were supposed to send me. TLDR: DO NOT BANK HERE. read more

At first it was good having my loan through them. After Jenny left it's been a nightmare. I fell on the job got a brain injury dealing with post concussion syndrome as well as post concussion vertigo and now having to deal with Covid. They will double ding your credit, not work with you on moving your due date so not to get late fees and then run your credit to further take your credit rating down. So in one week they knocked me down -33 points. Went from good 679 to fair. Other banks are giving a 90 day grace and pushing payments to the end but not here. They will call repeatedly knowing I only get paid every 28 days. So trying to recover from a brain injury and add this stress is not good. Causes me to get seizures/ tremors. You would think they would show some kind of compassion or willingness to work with especially after 6 years of paying on your loan. Thank goodness I'm close to be done. As soon as I get back to work this will be paid not ever recommend them to anyone. read more

I've banked with them for almost 3 years, and they're just not meeting my family's needs as a primary bank. I do business with 2 other credit unions in town, so I have a decent standard of comparison. Here are the reasons: 1) the app is terrible. It's down at least 10% of the time. This almost never happens with SELCO or OCCU. 2) they are very slow at processing mortgage applications. Absurdly slow. To the point I've just given up with them. 3) they are slow for processing a transaction. A deposit to my account for a paycheck or taxes will take longer to hit the bank than the other two credit unions in town. Transfers between banks seem to work normally though. 4) tellers sometimes don't count out cash correctly. You must watch them very carefully. 5) the branch on river road is closed randomly and I don't understand why. They closed down during the fires too, which I imagine was very difficult for people affected by it. 6) you can't withdraw large amounts of cash without a week's prior notice. I think that's reasonable, but it can be bothersome if you're trying to buy a car private sale or something. (I've been told this isn't a policy for other banks). There are some good things. The tellers are extremely friendly. They are always a delight to work with. I do like that about them. The fees fees for banking are low. I will still have accounts though them, but I'll transition away from them as a primary bank. They're just not nimble enough to be a primary bank for most IMO. read more

I have enjoyed the 10 years of doing business here, they are always pretty friendly. I have never been denied for any loans, I live in Portland and they are able to do everything threw fax or mail. The only thing I don't like is if you move and don't change your address they freeze your account. I have auto pay from my savings to a account with them and they still freeze it. I have been with this bank since 1996. The ATM at the branch location is constantly not working especially not accepting deposits. If I deposit a check through another credit union ATM they put a hold on the check for 4 days causing returned items. I've never had a deposit that wasn't good. I called and they won't release funds even though the check was issued by an insurance company not a private party. So disappointed in this bank. Jasmine was rude. I'll be opening an account elsewhere and getting my direct deposit of 23 years switched to another credit union. read more

After using this credit union for two car loans and four years, I'm done with then after current events. Recently we have encountered very tough times (economy) as I assume many of us are. Our car loan has been minimally late and we tried to communicate with the loan officer (B.M) and he has been extremely rude, uncaring, unjust, and flat unwilling to work with us. After a very nasty phone call to my fiancé, payment was made, we receive a letter in the mail stating one more late payment and the car will be repossessed. I assure you I know how loans work etc but my biggest complaint is their customer service and the way they treat their customers. Once we are back on track, I will be leaving this credit union and never look back. I will also being calling the 'top dog' and filing a complaint about the specific loan officer and their piss poor customer service ethics. I will be sticking solely to First Tech Credit Union, in which our actual banking is done through. read more

This is a small credit union. The one I go to off of River Road does not even have an ATM. I have a small loan with this credit union and have also had the checking and savings accounts as well. My family came into hard financial times (my husband was down-sized by Hayden Homes and it took 6 weeks to get unemployment payments) and we spoke with the bank about what was happening. We have been a little late on a few loan payments. Some have gone 3 weeks late. Late enough for a fee, but not late enough to even report it to a credit bureau. They have frozen my account twice for payments not even late enough to legally collect on. I had just enough money left to buy my family a gallon of milk before payday and I had to go get a loan for it because they had frozen my 7 dollars that was in there. They do not seem to care about what we are going through or that the payment is not even 30 days late. Then when I came into the bank to make the payment, the teller has to call someone for permission to access my frozen account and while they have the person on the phone they have the audacity to ask if and when I will be making the (not due yet) next payment. This was in front of everyone else in the lobby. If you ask me, when it comes to being better than your standard banking institution this credit union fails miserably. read more

This is by far the most ridiculous "community" credit union. My mother passed away and she had her car loan from them. They told me I could bring her car back with no repercussions or sell it and pay off her loan with the money I got, but it was better if I just brought it to them because they would take care of me because my mom died in her car and there would be NO CLAIMS put on her estate. 5 months later they make a claim after telling me they would not. Not to mention my mom died with no money. I went to speak with Jama the store manager with one of my moms friends who was with me the 3 times I went in to make sure something like this wouldn't happen. Jama was an absolute hag. I walked out crying she treated me like complete dog shit. Eventually I had to get a lawyer and we settled for still a LARGE amount of money that my brother and I had to pay out of our pockets because she had no money in her estate. Again, they said they never said anything along the lines of that. Way to treat your community instead of helping out two kids who lost their mom all you wanted was your money from a dead lady who died with no money. You guys are terrific! Don't ever bank with them, they will lie, steal, and make you feel like complete crap. I'm so surprised they had no wiggle room to help my brother and I out. read more

Had accounts with this CU for 40 years and over time the level of personal service has changed quite a bit...probably to be expected. So I decided I'd close the accounts and proceeded to change auto-deposits and move my money to another bank that treats me well. I might add I've had no financial problems at PCFCU - no debt, no bad loans, no overdrawn accounts. I was treated like a common criminal when closing down the accounts. It was pointed out to me that I could be absconding with money from a visa account there was no balance on. They evidently had the messaging system set so I could not communicate with them using it. They evidently were gleefully waiting for formal word to close things so their systems folks could immediately shut everything down online because evidently I was suspected of doing something nefarious. Pretty damn ugly end to 40 years of banking with this outfit. Good riddance. read more

Wow this bank is completely ridiculous! I originally started an auto loan through this "bank" but after having some negative experiences with my current bank (BofA) I decided to open a checking account with pacific. It was rather nice, no fees no minimums ect. But that was a lie. In reality if you don't make a deposit and a withdrawal each month there are fees. So whilst trying to setup direct deposit with my employer (takes a few pay periods to go through) I was being charged fees. Being that I refused to pay these as it was alleged a fee less account setup the account was closed. I was also told that they had "waived" these fees and the only case in which I would have to pay said fees were if I intended to open another checking account. Which to me seemed more or less pretty fair. Well several months later I am about to pay off my auto loan and these thieves feel the need to rear their ugly heads once more. Apparently if I do not pay off said fees they will not release my title. $27 dollars and they are going hold my title on a $9,000 are you kidding?!?! Especially since they alleged that those fees were something I no longer owed to them! read more
