At my appointment I asked about bifocal contacts and was told they may or not be in stock. I asked about the price for my regular contacts and never really got an answer. I said I'd probably just buy them at Costco since they're usually less. Before I left I asked if they had given me my contact prescription and was told yes. I should've checked my paperwork! I got to Costco and was told I only had been given a glasses prescription. So this morning I called Eyecare Specialist's, thinking it was a simple mistake. But nope, they said that would cost 65$ more after already paying 175$. I asked why would I go to them specifically for contacts and leave without my prescription. It makes no sense! What did they think I was doing there?? They wasted my time and were overpriced on top of it! So now I have to take more time to go back to Costco so I can actually get what I need. Eyecare specialist's doesn't seem to listen to their patients. If your considering using them, I'd definitely suggest looking somewhere else. Complete waste of time!

My children are in elementary school (10, 9 and 7 years old), and that can be a difficult age to work with. However, they managed to move my kids through their separate eye exams quickly and efficiently (we were done within the hour). While their offices weren't as kid friendly as other places I've visited, they did have a small basket of blocks that kept my children entertained while we waited (which wasn't very long). Their offices are basic and comfortable without any frills. I was also happy to have found Dr. Reed as I had a difficult time locating an optometrist that accepts Medicaid. Even though his establishment is in Lewiston, his business still gladly took our WA medicaid without making us feel uncomfortable or self conscious.
