PF is easily one of the coolest outdoor markets in JC. It only happens once a month, so make sure not to sleep on it during the summer months! Their slogan is 'Beats, Eats and Antiques' and that is exactly what you'll find here. They've got a stage area set up in the back for live music and a DJ. There are plenty of vendors selling handmade goods and of course, there are lots of food trucks to sample from. Last month, Mordis, Baonanas and Whealth had all set up shop. Overall, it's just a really great vibe here and on a warm summer day there is nothing better then wandering around the market for some shopping, eating and hanging. Pacific Flea is yet another reason why Jersey City is the best. I can't wait to go back to the market again next month! read more

I arrived at 430pm, Aug 13th, the 2nd Saturday of the month and its completely empty. Did I miss the show or was there none? If there is a flea market here I dont see how it can be a grand event if there is only about 2000 square feet of room of space in this lot. Maybe up to 15 vendor tables can fit in here at best if they sandwich them in. So don't drive far to get here if you are thinking its a big event. I cant comment on what they have because I didnt find anything else to comment on. Hopefully when there is actually something there its nice. read more

Always a sure bet for treasure hunting! Cool atmosphere with great people and wonderful finds! Great way to spend a Saturday!

I'm not a big fan of shopping, but Pacific Flea is a good time. I kind of thought I'd swing by for about 10 mins, look at a bunch of old stuff, wonder who would buy it and then leave. That's how I usually feel about flea markets. I was surprised to find I needed an antique fireplace grate, despite not being in possession of a fire place. I also need a whiskey cask, a bronze horse, and several vintage clocks. And a boss looking pink vintage mixer. Next time I come I'll roll up with more then five dollars in my pocket (some of the vendors did accept credit cards). I was able to put my $5 to good use at the Bucket and Bay gelato stand were I got the black label vanilla, which was awesome. read more

Great venue. You feel like an urban homesteader by stopping by this event in a 'up and coming' neighborhood that is still partly hood! Lots of fun vendors, the food offerings vary but there's always something new and terrific, and the hidden beer stash sometimes has some cold cans of the hipster favorite, PBR! Great people own and operate Pacific Flea, and you can catch up on some neighborhood gossip (real estate always a hot topic). So it's a bit steampunk/hipster/Afrobeat vibe going on, and always worth a visit, as there's a good rotation of vendors, music, and food. read more

Very small, but fun flea market. it felt like a big garage sale, with all different walks of life here. theres collectibles, art, bones, and new clothing and housemade objects here for sale. theres also a few food trucks outside, and places to sit and eat. there was someone playing live music this past weekend. most vendors, or all, take cash or credit. parking is tricky since theres plenty of one ways but over all, its easy to find and find parking. keep in mind its small, id say 10 vendors tops, but its cute. read more

When I think of flea markets, I usually picture a bunch of elderly people buying junk no one in their right mind would want. Thankfully, Pacific Flea is doing things a little differently. You know a place is really good when it can turn a normally empty industrial steet into a bumper to bumper parking spot competition. Your best bet is to take an Uber or Lyft. If you check the Flea's social media accounts, there's usually an offer for free Lyft rides (No love for Uber? Come on guys, you can do better!) Once you get inside, there's tons of vintage stuff hand-picked by the owner Stu that will have you feeling nostalgic of pre-smartphone times. There's also tons of local vendors and food options. Both of which rotate to share the wealth amongst the local businesses of the area. The highlight of every flea, though, is DJ Obviously Avi, who keeps a great rotation of music going all day, spanning a multitude of genres and eras. Throughout the day, you'll probably run into the Flea's organizer Joel, who many call the mayor of the Lafayette neighborhood. He's usually around shaking babies and kissing hands. I think I may have gotten that last one backwards. The only real downside I can say about this place is that it's only open on the second Saturday of the month and only during the summer season. Womp womp. Even if you have no intention of buying, it's still a fun place to spend a Saturday and meet some cool people. read more

You gotta check out Pac Flea. Every second Saturday from May (maybe April?) through the Fall. Such a fun and unique experience. They always have amazing vendors and good music. Did I mention the food trucks? Good spot run by good people...bookmark it. read more

Driving in this area, you probably wouldn't expect to see a flea market show up. I'll admit, you gotta keep your eye out for it because if you blink, you'll miss it. But once you find Pacific Flea, it's worth it. I worked the Flea Market as part of the Yelp team to help promote the Weekly Yelp to everyone who went. Joel and the rest of team who were working the Flea Market were all very nice to me and helped me setup shop. After staying there for a good 7 hours in the sun (got a lovely sunburn, by the way), I realized that I needed to come back here as a customer. Baonanas and Mordi's Schnitzel Truck were absolutely delicious as they were serving different foods to everyone there. Everything that the vendors were selling had a vintage edge to them like different advertisements and art from the 1950s and vintage clothes. There was a stand selling organic skincare items, which I need to check out because they had some beard care stuff there. Plants, clothes, random decorations. They had everything. The overall vibe of Pacific Flea is really enjoyable to me. I honestly thought I was in Brooklyn for a second there because there was this overwhelming hipster vibe and I kinda like that. There were bands and DJ's playing all day to provide some live entertainment and everyone was just in a great mood. I highly suggest checking this place out this season! Oh and bring sunscreen. Trust me on this. I look as red as the Yelp background. read more

It was pretty underwhelming. A gelato bicycle guy, two catering companies, soap, and someone selling overpriced antiques. If you're within a five minute drive, check it out if you want, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way like I did to see the place. They were also blasting really loud music. It's Saturday morning. If I wanted to listen to club music I'd go to a club at night. read more

OK, maybe it's because this was the last one of the season, but talk about underwhelming. I'd hardly call this a flea market. We showed up around 1pm and there were about 4-5 vendors, half of which were selling something organic not actual flea market stuff. Maybe my expectations were too high? The space itself is about 600-700 sq feet. It's tiny. The music was cool I'll give them that. But I feel that flea markets have become "trendy" so people try selling old junk at ridiculous prices because of some kind of perceived value because it looks old timey. As an actual collector of old things, stuff here was so over priced I'd rather go to ebay or a real flea market. Maybe I was expecting a true flea market, some actual space and more than a handful of people selling their wares, but overall I was underwhelmed. Maybe I'll try the summertime next year, but this for me was a bust. read more

Had so much fun at Pacific Flea! It's like a block party masquerading as a flea market. Loved running into other Yelpers, the music was bangin', the food was great (omgggg the chicken and waffles from Andy's Market), the vendors had great stuff. This is such a fun flea market. The area is nothing special where it is hosted but there is a citi bike rack just five minutes away and that is right near Liberty state park which is convenient. There are 4 food spots with a variety of unusual foods to try but all were very tasty! We saw little shops that carried an array of different products. Natural soaps and washes, vintage cameras, photographs, pillows, clothing, wall decor and shop with ALL vintage products including vintage playboys. I thought that was really cool as they show a glimpse into the era of which the specific edition was produced. There is adorable seating and a live DJ playing an awesome mix he has curated. The space is not crowded. I can hope that this flea market can continue to grow in size because they have some great vendors here and I'm sure there are many people out there who would do well selling their products. I live a few blocks from here and its nice to wander in and find something amazing. Just be warned if its amazing its pricey. The pricing is more retail than flea market. . I spent about $500.00 on my last visit. Also the last time I went they did not have a huge selection or perhaps I arrived two late, but i hear things have gotten better. I have not been back since my initial visit. I look forward to visiting again, to see familiar faces and hear some of the live bands. read more

I love this market. Great vibe, great food and a great variety of local and handmade goods and unusual vintage industrial Americana. Nice friendly crowd. I came just to check it out and ended up staying all day talking to all the people. So glad it's opening for the season on April 8. read more
