Today was the first time I've been to this facility. I didn't know where to park but there's a free parking lot across the street from the main door. In the garage, it cost money but it's pretty reasonable. Less than $3 if it's under 2 hrs. I was there for a mammogram, so when you enter the facility, no need to check in at the main door, just follow the sign to Mammogram and check in with the front desk there. Once inside, the tech, Terry walked me to the locker room, gave me a hospital cape, and told me to take off my shirt and bra (if I take off my pants, she's going home. Haha) and put my personal belongings in the locker then head to the waiting room. After that, she walked me to the room and showed me the positions to take the scan. Terry was really nice, friendly and pleasant. The experience was not as bad as I thought. The level of care was superb. I was expecting the worst since I read another Yelpers experience before coming. Almost had me cancelled the appointment but I'm glad I didn't. Terry explained the process and what to expect so I was pretty grateful for a good first time experience. read more

I wish I could do 1-star. This facility does not seem to care about their patients and have made that prominent to me not just once, but 5 times. I just want to be seen and have a doctor that cares about their patients and not just ticking off the box. Every time I have had a virtual appointment my care team has been 20 + minutes late. Since this has been a trend, the care team may as well schedule the appt for when they are going to actually come on, instead of wasting the time that their patients have to take off of work and pay. read more

I've gotten mammograms here for years but had a bad experience last year. When the tech got me in the room, she had me take the top gown completely off and then I had to stand there half-naked in an air-conditioned room while she spent five minutes asking me questions. I don't work in healthcare, but it seems like a basic tenet of patient care would be that you don't require people to be naked longer than absolutely necessary for the procedure being done. Then when it was time for the actual mammogram, she did not clearly explain how she wanted me positioned and instead she aggressively pushed me around to get me where she wanted me and she would not stop even after I told her that I was unable to maintain my balance. I got mad and left without finishing. I have had many mammograms done here and that was my only bad experience, but it was really fucking bad. They called me and let me reschedule with another person. I returned this year and hoped it would not be the same tech, since I was told PacMed is no longer outsourcing imaging services. However, it was the same lady and I declined to get the test done with her and rescheduled elsewhere. I was told she is now "pretty much" the only tech they have, so I was not able to do it with anyone else. read more

Be ready to advocate for yourself as a patient. Doctors are condescending and there is a lot of process. Except long wait times for appointments (multiple months). Does not compare well with medical care in other major metropolitan areas, like NYC/SF. As with many things in Seattle/WA, it just kind of sucks. read more

What I appreciate about her being my doctor is: -the amount of time she spends with me is FANtastic -I leave wondering, 'how does she know so much about a variety of overall medical topics?' ... I've visited Pacific Medical Center-Beacon Hill to see my surgeon in the past. Plus beautiful, historical Art Deco building with amazing view of the downtown skyline coming down Beacon Hill. I've also had visits to the adjacent Inland Imaging for diagnostic tests including MRIs. Seems my current DPT will also make this his primary location to see patients. A little out of the way for a northender, but has free onsite parking and again friendly, professional staff. Bonus for me are the ability to meander through favorite urban locations on the way back to home or work. read more

Review of H. Sahi, MD: first of all the reviews on the pac med site for this doctor seem fake. No one I know talks like that. Check it out and form your own opinion. Also, they are mostly 5 star reviews of this doctor. Hardly. There is no way they are legit. She is awful. Cold fish in person. I'm able to tolerate that in a medical provider if they nail it from a patient care / clinical standpoint. Failure on those fronts also. She delayed medication for my loved one, never returned phone calls, screwed up the paperwork (we actually had to print out our own paperwork and provide It to her to expedite the process). Refused to fill out FMLA paperwork. Her ancillary staff try to cover for her but they seem swamped. I can only hope their incompetence is due to being overwhelmed because the alternative is hard to fathom. Oh yea, the facility on beacon hill is a dump. They are understaffed so you have to be patient. They have a parking garage. The dr are great here at the clinic. The only thing here some of the drs are near retirement age and I have to find a new dr here at the clinic. Came here for a general physical for preventative care and got charged for an "office visit". $150 out of pocket. Tried multiple phone calls to fix the charge and each time got a different answer but with no action. Forget it, go somewhere else, because I will. Definitely read some of the other reviews here because they have the exact same problems I did as around billing. WORST customer experience ever!!! Been trying for a week to schedule an appointment with their doctors, and I've been on hold for 15mins at a time then the call drops!! I thought this was pretty good for a large metropolitan clinic. I have to admit that the weather outside and all the slimy plants and bird/animal poop around the building did turn me off to the neighborhood. People sleeping in the adjacent park and mumbling at me as I walked by was not a surprise either. However, when I got inside the smell of the homeless and mildew left pretty quick as I walked down the hall. The driveway and parking lot are very strange as there are many many painted arrows and no one was heeding them whatsoever? The faded "do not enter signage" and also the speed bumps were so slippery when wet. I drove around the whole building and watched chaos with the nurses and patients driving the wrong direction at multiple instances. The front desk was efficient although uninterested in me personally. Not friendly but not rude either so I felt neutral about my check in. The MA was very friendly and had a great personality. I felt comfortable and it was clean although there was some maintenance in progress and I was surprised to see bare wires in my exam room? Everyone in the section 3 zone was very competent and nice except I was disappointed by the LabCorp. I will try to review them separately but when I went in it was all cluttered and looked dusty inside the phlebotomist room! I thought that the greeting was disjointed and overly friendly like they are excited about something personal and not thinking about their work? She followed by rushing around distracted and then said something I thought was dumb and immature for a person about to stab me in the arm. I do not understand why they would schedule a drive in Covid test for a person who does not drive, and why they would schedule it 10 miles away when there is a free, city-run drive up test less than a mile from our apartment. Why did they not mention any of this? I have been a patient at Pac Med Beacon Hill for 2 years. I see Dr Waterman who is wonderful. I recently saw a surgeon, Dr White who I also liked. I'm an RN and I'm very particular about who I see. Behavioral Health is another story. I have a 28 year old son who lives at home. Last year my husband and proposed that we pursue family therapy. Our son was not thrilled but okay with it. There is only one Therapist at Beacon Hill who does family therapy, we scheduled with him, but then he wanted to see my husband and I alone first. We saw this provider twice. He was not helpful. He did not want to see the three of us together, but would see our son alone. Our son did not want to see this therapist. We choose to go elsewhere for family therapy which has been very helpful for the three of us. From my previous experience with Behavioral Health at this facility, they check your insurance before scheduling you to make sure your covered for their services.Turns out we were covered for family therapy but not couples therapy. Our bill for these two visits was almost $600. I called the manager of Behavioral Health to complain about this bill she was very slow to respond to my calls. In the end we had to pay the bill. I have no idea if she addressed this matter with the therapist so this dosen't happen with other patients. I work in a medical Clinic a Swedish First Hill. I can't imagine our manager not responding to a patient complaint about patient service and/or billing. Best to make sure your insurance covers the type of therapy you are pursuing before seeing someone in Behavioral Health. Just because insurance covers individual therapy does not imply that they cover couples or family therapy. read more

When I finally got off hold, I asked a simple question like how much something will cost. The response is something unrelated and non-quantitative followed by an "Ok?" as in "Ok? Can we end the call now?" Uh, how about you answer the mf question first? It was like pulling teeth and I ended up going elsewhere. 1 review just now Super dis-organized group. I made an appointment for a back problem and showed up and they proceeded to tell me my appointment was canceled. I waited around for 50 minutes while they tried to figure out what happened and to talk to a supervisor who never ended up being available. There was a problem with the call center and booking apparently. They had texted me a couple formation of the appt but didn't tell me it was cancelled! They gave me a supervisor's phone number whose voicemail was full and then I contacted their helpline and left a message and no one ever called me back. I really love Pac Med! So here's the story: I fell on my face yesterday and ended up with a sprained neck, smashed beak, and cuts on my face. I can almost always get a same-day appointment with and actual M.D. and yesterday was no exception. There's plenty of free parking and the doctors are not only competent, but actually cool too. They have lab and imaging services all on-site, so you can get all your shit done in one place! I got my neck x-rayed, my heart EKG'd, and my nose inspected all in the same place within an hour. I was sent home with some painkillers and was advised to RICE (rest, ice, compress, elevate). read more

I went in for an ear cleaning from Dr Waszak and got a $309 bill. $205 for "office visit" and $104 for "other services". I've gotten yearly ear cleanings for the past 4 or so years (some from ENT Specialists, some from general Doctors) and I've NEVER had to pay more than just the co-pay. I called (twice) to figure out what the "other services" were (I mean, I didn't get an ear cleaning with a happy ending), and it turns out that the $205 was just to walk though the door and the $104 was for the actual ear cleaning. I've tried all I could to dispute this charge, but I get hung up on, given the run around, and told that the billing people can't reverse the charge. I would NOT recommend Pacmed Clinics for anything. There are plenty of honest and competent doctors on First Hill, there's no need to waste your money on these scam artists. read more

The worst medical facility I have ever visited in my entire life, and I have spent almost a decade of my life in Army medicine (it is that bad). She knows what she is talking about and when she knows something is up, she'll take great care of you. She always seems to ask the right questions and sends you off with the piece of mind that you're gonna be okay. And believe me, you're gonna be just fine.That is always helpful when you're looking for a doctor. She is a pretty popular doctor so make your appointment as early as you can! The facility itself is well maintained. It's located in the old building where Amazon was and still, every time I went, it was clean. The staff is also friendly too. I have been a patient with Pacific Medical Center for over 25 years. Beacon Hill's care, specifically from the doctors, has seem to go down hill as far as following up with their patients and making sure they are on the right path to recovery. The information they provide on MyChart is contradicting, they do not have immediate postings so that patients can get follow up care in a timely fashion and they have so many different people responding to your inquiries that the information they provide is different from one person to another. It is like they don't even read your chart. I do not recommend this healthcare system and will be transferring my care of my family to another system that believes in preventative care and cares for and listens to their patients. read more

Ok so first off like most going to the doctor is never the fun excursion you want to spend your time at. That said this is a painless as it gets. Check in is easy in a nice open bright lobby. There is a leaflet on all the doctors behind the desk which tells you all their specialties. Wait time has always been short between check in, meet with nurse to get the vitals to meeting with the doctor. Another thing I like a lot is there open minded about treatment. Looking at the fixes from a more holistic point of view including nutrition, exercise etc etc. I have seen Rose and Sonal both have been very friendly, direct but never felt I was dismissed the spent time to work out what my symptoms were to get to the heart of the problem. read more

Ginger Ruddy is probably the loveliest doctor will ever meet. She is efficient, thoughtful, and a very intuitive listener. Dr. Aurora is soft spoken but extremely capable and thoughtful, I appreciate his flexibility and understanding surrounding medications- it's a tricky art but I really feel like he knows what he's doing. Marisa Miller is the greatest therapist that ever was. I could never have enough good things to say about her- she saves my life every single day (while teaching me to do it myself). If you are in need of some talk therapy I suggest you find your way to her. Reception is always helpful and friendly. I really like my Doctor at this location, he seems knowledgeable and the staff are nice too. However, I have had a few issues with service. I had some tests done and never received a call about results, I had to call weeks later and they had them but my Doctor just never called. Second, they were then supposed to schedule another appointment for me with a specialist but I never got a call or appointment...its been 6 weeks and still nothing. Third, I called for a prescription refill over a week ago and they were supposed to have it ready the next day and as of today its still not done. Anyway, that's three negative experiences in a row and I'm thinking about switching to a new medical center. Review update: I meant to post this awhile back because I got a call after this last review to rectify the situation. I appreciate the call but then had one more experience where they took tests and the tests came back inconclusive because they didn't do it right. My doc is cool and everything but I think I'm going to try a naturalist to figure out if this is an allergy thing (which PMC says its not but every prescription they have tried does not work and has cost me about $200 so far). read more

Dr. Victoria Allen, and her nurse asst., Cathy, are the creme de la creme, both as medical professionals, and as great people. I am blessed to have them as my medical team at Beacon Hill clinic. We have a tacit respect and trust for each other, and all medical matters. Plus, they tolerate my stories that tend to go on and on. I have a curiosity for medical ailments and how people live with such Grace under hard circumstances. And, as a bonus, they are like family. (Better than my family). But the most inspiring experience for me was hearing Dr. Allen's impassioned call to help those who are "invisible." You don't get speaking fees for talking about the "Recovery Cafe," and all the recovering addicts who find hope and inspiration there. She also volunteers and is on the board. I am also impassioned about this subject. While she spoke, I could tell that the audience adored Dr. Allen. I also respect and adore both Dr. Allen and Cathy. Dr. Waterman was recommended to me by my former boss when I needed a new doctor, and she is fantastic. One day I needed to get in ASAP because of (what I thought was) a medical emergency, and I asked them to set me up with anyone, and they scheduled me with Dr. Ruddy, and she is also fantastic. They are VERY friendly, very competent, and so far have not seemed like they just want all my money. I feel comfortable speaking with both of them about any concerns or questions and it's never awkward. Only problems so far: I've had to wait awhile for most of my appointments, but I also usually choose late-in-the-day appointments, so it may be my own fault; it once took almost a half hour for the receptionist to figure out my new insurance (it wasn't his fault, it was the fault of the system); and one of the blood-drawing guys commented on my shirt being low-cut. That was weird, but I just chalked it up to the fact that it was very early in the morning. I would definitely recommend PacMed to anyone seeking a new doctor. read more

I am confused about their billing amount. Even you have great insurance, you have to pay a lot still. Once you get the bill, it is no way to discuss, you just pay otherwise you will consume your time and keep getting your bills. I used to visit this centre but I am trying to seek another better one. The reason is usually new doctor will provide the best service they can, but after few years, they became busy and no patience to deal with you any more. My bad experience was I wanted to ask a new question, the doctor just left the room. I felt hurt and the day I went to see other doctor again for treating my leg pain. Don't stick one place, if you find the service is change, you should change. I feel sad about that. read more

Been going to pacmed for years now. I was seeing a specialist for testosterone treatment. I made an appointment for October 4th which they lost I rescheduled for November 17th 10:45 a.m. and when I showed up they have no record of my schedule. I wasted 45 minutes driving there in 45 minutes driving back to work. Two times losing my schedule I am changing clinics. read more

I love this place! When I first moved out here last March, I hadn't established a doctor or office yet. Well let's be honest I haven't seen a doctor in ages, even when I lived in Texas. I recently found out I have diabetes so I needed to take care of it ASAP. I ended up seeing Dr. Sears here and she's been incredible. Her and her nurse Laura are great and super attentive and persistent with keeping me up on check ups and procedures! My favorite thing here is the pharmacy. I've moved out to West Seattle since but, I still make the trip here to pick up my prescriptions due to me always having bad luck in other places. The service is also quick as I've usually come in 30 mins early for my appointment and they take me in right away. I'd recommend this place for sure! read more

I can't begin to describe how impressive this Pac Med location continues to be. I've been completely blown away with their amazing practice. The staff are so friendly, the nurses are fast, and the doctors CARE. My doctor there, Dr. Oswald, actually took the time to personally call me and check on how I was doing. Amazing! What doctor does that?!?! And everyone there is like that. Caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They genuinely listen to what is going on and do what they can to fix it. I have been wanting to write this review as a way to thank and recognize DR. ARI GILMORE and his staff, especially Marina. For many years, I was a caregiver to this 96 years old lady that I learned to love so much. In all those times I brought Nonna Flora over for a regular check up or immediate medical attention, Dr. Gilmore and his staff were always very knowledgeable, prompt, friendly and attentive. They are also very quick to respond to phone calls. Sadly, my beloved Nonna Flora passed away a few months ago at Dr. Gilmore's office. Dr. Gilmore and his staff not only accommodated us with all arrangements necessary but they also made us feel that we were not a burden to them. HIPAA ISSUES!!! I have worked in the medical industry for over 4+ years and PACIFIC MEDICAL CENTER staff disclose/discuss their patient's confidential information to each other in other languages. Clinical staff are great; UNFORTUNATE that non-clinic staff do not follow nor respect HIPAA guidelines and regulations. Front desk staff also somehow did not input the correct medical insurance information even though they SCANNED A COPY into their systems. Not only does this cause frustration and time for the patient (as well as avoidable billing issues) but as well as YOUR Doctor's, Nurse's, and/or other Clinical staff's time. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE NOR TRUST PACIFIC MEDICAL CENTERS having my personal and medical information with ANY PACIFIC MEDICAL CENTERS' facilities and/or clinics. TRUST and CONFIDENTIALITY are my HIGHEST PRIORITY when it comes to choosing where I receive my medical care.
