Came here for a quick bite. Parking is in the street or across the street in the strip mall. Inside was spacious and clean and very bright. We ordered 2 Honolulu bowls but instead of shrimp we got salmon. We also got an express poke with salmon and spicy salmon. They were running out of rice so one bowl was brown rice, another sushi rice, and the last one half sushi and half quinoa. The bowls tasted good. When we arrived the staff was sweeping, then handling food, then handling the register, then back to handling food. We didn't see any hand washing or use of gloves. We ordered our meal via Uber Eats and we were notified that two of 5 items are not available after we ordered (one notification per item). Our wait time was over 90 minutes and the meal was anti-climatic. Sushi rice was sour like someone spilled the vinegar on the rice, the rolls looks like they were rolled by a toddler, and the Oshi was basically rice with "maybe" some toppings. No soy sauce for the sushi, no spoon for the soup. Definitely not a recommended experience. read more

Despite the pandemic, this place was busy with walk-in customers and courier orders. Pacific Poke has hand sanitizer and they offer gloves/water to their drivers. My husband and I both ordered a large build your own bowl ($16) and added extras like masago ($1.50) and avocado-nori ($1.50). The price is a bit higher than other places, but you get more and the quality is higher. Each bowl was big and filling. The sushi rice was very good. The crab, sustainable ahi tuni and wild salmon were noticeably fresh and flavourful. The toppings are proportional, so that with each bite of rice, you can get a balanced amount of protein and vegetables. I like Pacific Poke more than a few other poke places I tried because the selection of toppings and vegetables are fancier, and the staff are pros. At some other places, there's always someone new and they don't have the system down, so your bowl is either over sauced or the portions are inconsistent. read more

We picked up the Maui and the California both in sushi rice. They were both so amazing - it's great portions . Big chunks of fish and lots of the other ingredients; compared to other places I think it's great value for what you pay. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is bright , clean and inviting (for when we are allowed to go inside again!). I would highly recommend giving this place a try. It's made the top of my favourite poke places tried in Calgary. Can't wait to try more off the menu! read more

Surprised to see this place doesn't have any Yelp reviews yet! Finally had a chance to try the poke here, and it's fantastic. I've tried a couple different ones in Calgary, but pacific poke is my favourite so far and the closest resemblance to what I had in Hawaii. Their 'chef bowls' (The Main, The Keefer, The Cali, and The Veggie) are a good sampling of the different combos available, but you can always make your own if you're up for it. The Main sounded like all my favourite stuff so I decided to try it. It has salmon, spicy ahi tuna, crab, shrimp, jicama, cucumber, avocado, nori, seaweed salad, citrus mayo, sesame miso dressing, shoyu, yuzu, and lime juice. I got it on sushi rice (can also get quinoa or kale), and the wasabi crunch mix (can also get some sweet and spicy crunch mix, crispy, ramen, and one more I forget). You also have the option of cilantro, parsley, and sprouts for on top. I watched the staff carefully assemble the bowl. The interior is minimal, but thoughtful, and the focus really does seem to be on the food. The bowl came nicely arranged and the flavours were fantastic. They all blended well and nothing was too overpowering or appeared to be missing. A good amount of protein pieces as well which is appreciated. Honestly not much more to say about the flavour than that it was excellent. It's clear thought was put into the flavour combinations. If you're craving good poke this is the place to check out. read more

the store is under new management and the quality has really dropped off. it's a shame because this used to be the best poke place in the area. We got 2 sushi rolls and when we ordered you would've thought they saw a ghost. It took about 20 minutes to make the rolls and every piece was a completely different size. some pieces were about 1/2 inch thick others over 3 inches. They knew too and they even apologized for the quality when they dropped the food off for us. The poke bowl had about 2-3 tablespoons of fish and it cost $3.5 for an another scoop. I'd give it another 6-12 months and try again. read more

First time trying pine and it was nice. The restaurant bright, open and lots of seating. You can have options to go or dine in. The staff super friendly and service was quick. I ordered the main and my friend had the Cali. Both were fresh and very filling. The bowls are packed full with fresh ingredients. We had the lemonade which was very refreshing on a hot summer day. This is by far the best poke place I've been to in Calgary. They have to stay bowls, bamboo chopsticks, and they use compostable takeaway containers and cups and paper straws. Every bite is pure flavour and the protein scoops aren't skimped out on like other poke places. Their toppings and sauces are different than the other places where it's just a standard spicy mayo or ponzu. They have things like a sesame miso (which I had on mine) a basil pesto and any other sauce combo you can think of. It's also well lit and very clean inside, with friendly service. Definitely will be coming here more! read more

I ordered Pacific Poke through a delivery service and was really pleased with the food! Several coworkers and I decided we wanted to give this place a go and everyone was pretty happy with their meal! I got The Main, which is the classic poke bowl with Ahi Tuna, Salmon, Crab and Shrimp! I was pretty surprised by how you could customize your bowl easily and for the price of ~$16, I think its cheaper than the other Poke available in YYC. I also really liked how nice the company was, I tagged them on a post in Instagram, and they responded to me and asked me for my feedback on the food. When I told them we were missing someting from our order, they told us they would relay that feedback to the store and offered us a $5 off for our next purchase. I was really happy to see that! I think the food would have been even better if we got it right in store, but because we got it through delivery. Id like to see a bit more quantity of fish (tuna/Salmon) but besides that a solid place to try! read more

I was actually really impressed by this spot. I expected it to be another trendy overpriced mediocre restaurant but I was blown away by the flavour in the bowl I had. The regular sized bowl is a little pricey ($14) but you get so much bang for your buck. Sushi rice, kale, (or any other base you want), two fish toppings, 3 vegetable toppings (generous spoonfuls), as much sauce as you want and crunchy ramen to put on top. It was so delicious. Randomly, the tastiest pineapple I've ever had in their new pineapple topping. Well worth the price in my opinion. read more

It's amazing here! They have plenty of options I've never seen before at other poke places and like how they give you the option to add half salad base instead of all rice.
