I'm on a T1 line, and everything else on the web is lightening fast, so it's not my computer or connection. And this is a fairly regular problem for me. Heck, most of the time I feel like I could walk to their offices on E Street and pick up a paper off the presses faster than I could load their web page.

Today I got another issue of the Valley Yellow Pages (put out by AGI Publishing). Seems like they send me one every 3 years despite my repeated attempts to opt out. The yellowpagesoptout.com site (listed on the back of the book) still shows my preferences set to not receive any of my three local phone books, including the Valley Yellow Pages. And I have old emails that confirm my selections. None of this matters for AGI. They must be hurting so much for business that they're sending phone books to every household, even those that have opted out. They might as well increase their distribution even more by dumping a few truckloads of books into the bay, seeing as how they have no concern for the environment. When I need to look up business information, I do it online. I only hope that businesses stop advertising with AGI so that this company can meet its rightful end. Until then, I guess I'll have more spam to look forward to in 3 years.
