Horrible! the driver 'forgot' our big valuable sculpture when we moved from Olympia out of state…read more It is heavy and they charged a lot as part of a Huge moving bill to transport it. After two days of chaos with them in our house packing and loading, the driver Rushed us that he finally walk through, wouldn't go out and check the sculpture area saying he already got all that. The delivery was a moving nightmare. The truck and driver showed up at 8:15 am, due at 8. By 8:45 No crew was there so he called and was told that the company they hired to move us in "forgot" to send the message hiring the crew. After 10 am 3 people who spoke NO English showed up: a small man complaining of arm pain all day, and two small women in their 20s who couldn't carry anything heavy. Nothing was put where it should have been as they couldn't read labels or get the tag numbers right. The driver told them to flip over our big expensive cherry dresser on the concrete porch but there was NO blanket or padding on that side so it has huge gouges. and the driver said he "Forgot" our sculpture. Many items were scratched, they broke 3 legs off a big upholstered chair and the move in crew broke the 4th leg. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID! Hire anyone else!

Unacceptable. I had advised the company that previous moving companies needed two days for packing…read moreand unpacking each, and that furniture was sensitive and expensive. A&E movers rushed the packing in one day. They dumped the contents of all the drawers in each room into wardrobe sized boxes and then left it in a big pile at the destination. Shelving was ripped apart with force and cannot be reassembled. Expensive furniture was transported without any protection and damaged. Boxes were poorly labeled and ended up in the wrong place. After delivery, the new home was left looking like it had been ransacked by looters. The physical damage to property itself is costly and tedious to get reimbursed for: it takes hours just to document it, many more hours to find replacements or parts, and it may take months to get reimbursed (during which time you are not allowed to fix the item). But the worst part is the months it will take to get my life together again, and nothing will compensate me for that. Next time, I will go with a pod moving company again and hire packers by the hour. That way, they won't rush through the job, my belongings won't be crammed upside down into a tightly packed van by people who don't give a damn, and it will likely be cheaper as well.

It is partially my fault that we are running 1 hour late since we drive all the way from OR which we are willing to pay for the wait time and over time if necessary to complete the job. They greet us with very low energy and bad attitude complaining that they were overworked. There were miscommunication between the mover and dispatcher. So they thought we have 1 pod instead of 15' truck. They almost walk out from the job but we convinced them to stay. As a result, the truck was only half unloaded and I have to hire someone else to complete the job. Sad to have this experience for my first interstate moving but it is a life lesson, I guess.

Although I received a…read moreconfirmation email for the date and times I scheduled, they failed to show up and than ghosted me when I tried to contact them regarding their lack of arrival and to find out if they would be coming at all. I needed them to unload a POD that was scheduled for pick up the next day. Because they did not show up I am subject to a penalty by PODs to reschedule the pick up. Do not use this company they are completely unreliable and their customer service does not exist.
