The office REFUSED to refile & code it properly so Ins could see labs as deemed a medical necessity . That is all my husband & I asked for & staff never would assist . It's a simple lab test & they should know the proper coding vs making the patients pay ALOT of extra money $$$$ unnecessarily. Any other doctors office would have had lab charges covered & filed a proper coding or at least helped with the billing but they refused to help us. . We were not asking for much & if you go there be prepared to pay for your own lab work even if have great insurance. We do not recommend this office cause of unexpected & unnecessary charges that insurance would of covered if they filed properly .

Their office entrance is different from the other business, though. Right when I walked in, I was greeted by a rude receptionist (I can't remember her name). She was very short with me, and was unhappy when I didn't completely fill out all my new patient paperwork. I told her that I filled out the form that they sent me via e-mail, and that their office did not tell me to fill out any additional paperwork before coming in. Regardless, she still made it seem like it was my fault. Anyway, when I finally met my PCP, Dr. Luu, it was a complete 180. She was super nice and understanding. She also explained all the tests that I would be having and why I needed them. She also told me what diagnostic/lab tests that I was up to date with, and those I had to schedule an appointment with her for soon. I really like this doctor. So the moral of the story is: 5 Stars for Dr. Luu 2 Stars for the rude receptionist = 3 Stars Overall Hopefully, they fix her rude behavior. I really want to keep coming here.

It was not lunchtime. The call went straight to voicemail. I called again several times, waiting several minutes between each call, and the same thing happened. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see the doctor and had to go to Urgent Care. I had actually wanted to make Dr. Albritton my PCP from a while back, due to the positive reviews of the doctor herself. I was in the process of officially making her my PCP with my insurance when this happened. How incompetent can this staff be? No matter how superb of a provider Dr. Tiffany Albritton is, she is destroyed by the sheer nonexistence of her staff. If they do exist, they should be replaced with staff members who actually pick up the phone during business hours. If they don't exist at a certain point, fine. But for them to be absent for the whole duration of the period I incessantly called? I don't understand why any doctor would want to surround herself by staff that do nothing but bring her and her image down and create an aura of frustration and disappointment among her patients.

As a healthy individual without diabetes, I am determined to resolve this issue. I chose Dr. Sanders as my surgeon because, despite residing in California and working as an ER nurse at the Veterans Affairs, I made the trip back to Houston for this procedure. My past experiences have shown me that he possesses the expertise to address and correct the deformities in my toes effectively. If I had to rate Dr. Sanders on a scale from 0 to 5, where 5 signifies excellence, and 0 signifies poor quality, I would wholeheartedly give him a 5. The decision to travel from California to Houston for this procedure was worthwhile. The quality of care during the procedure was outstanding, and the Orthopedic Sports Medicine Clinic staff were incredibly proactive, guiding me through all the necessary paperwork and requirements. Moreover, the communication I received before and after the surgery was exceptional, making my entire experience seamless and reassuring.

I chose Core Primary Care based on its strong online reviews, but my real experience has been…read moreextremely disappointing. My care has primarily been handled by a PA, and I have never actually seen a physician. While I initially accepted this because I only needed routine annual exams, the experience became problematic once I started a stable statin medication for high cholesterol due to increasing levels and a strong family history of heart disease. After only three months, I needed a routine medication refill. Instead of simply continuing a stable prescription, I was required to schedule another visit with the PA. This felt unnecessary and not aligned with appropriate continuity of care for a long-term, well-established medication. Today, I had a scheduled telehealth appointment for what should have been a simple refill. I waited online for 20 minutes after paying my copay, and the system failed to connect properly. No visit occurred, yet the process still resulted in wasted time, frustration, and disruption. Overall, the experience reflects a system that feels more focused on generating repeated visits and copays than on providing efficient, patient-centered care. For stable chronic conditions like high cholesterol, basic prescription refills should not be this difficult. I would not recommend this clinic to patients who expect straightforward, reliable ongoing medication management.
