Stopped in here on our Katy Trail bike ride. This place is the pub we all wish we had down the street. Food was great, service was great, and the pub next door atmosphere is what makes this place special. Wish I could box it up and take it home to Colorado with me.

I go here for the Black and Tans which are always perfect . Try the onion rings, they are super delicious too!!

Bangers, mashed potatoes, mushy peas, sauerkraut. Chef's kiss.

Bangers and mash from Paddy's will be my last meal request if facing the executioner. Really great food. Big portions. Hidden gem. Drove past this place so many times but never stopped. Mac and cheese made with beer cheese: excellent. Pub fries: super. Cod filets: he won't stop talking about them. Wait staff is super friendly and nice. Patio seating.

The most authentic Irish pub outside of Galway. Variety of Irish whiskeys was impressive. Shepherd's Pie was huge and delicious

I love the atmosphere but good lord, it's expensive. My wife and I each had a burger, fries and a beer and it came out to over $60!

The staff is friendly and good food. I also like that they have non alcohol beer which a surprising number of places still do not.

Fish and chips were divine already as is, but something about their dipping sauce was next level. They should call it 1,001 Island sauce.

Overpriced, but good, while drinking here literally costs an arm and a leg, eating and hanging here is very fun, would recommend.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Bangers and mash are the best. Authentic. The chicken wrap is enormous. They do things big there.

We had the Country Fried Chicken, and the Chicken Fingers Dinners. Both with mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was great. Give them a try.

It's the kind of joint where the atmosphere is thicker than a Sunday morning fog and the hospitality is warmer than a radiator in July. Since we're right there in the shadow of the fort, you'll find yourself rubbing elbows with all sorts of folks. They say you ought to eat where the locals eat, but in a military town, "local" is a relative term--most everybody there is from somewhere else, and they're all just passing through on Uncle Sam's dime. But at Hopper's, for an hour or two, everybody's treated like they grew up right down the street. If f you're looking for a cold beer, Hopper's has their own house brew on tap that's colder than a mother-in-law's stare. It's a sports bar in the truest sense--wall-to-wall TV screens making sure you don't miss a single down or a checkered flag. When there's a car show in town or a big game on, the place gets livelier than a porch dog with a new bone. Speaking of dogs there is a semi-permanent guest that stops by name of Norman. Pet him and you will have a friend for life. They aren't feeding birds here, friend. We're talking Burgers and fries of with tons of flavor. Sliders, cheesesteaks and wings, make sure you got extra napkins. I am not sure why but I think he also have vegetarian options. The staff is politer than a deacon on Sunday. They're attentive, friendly, and they treat travelers like they've lived in Waynesville their whole lives. Keep in mind they are pumping out a ton of adult beverages and food. A cold beer and a good burger are worth a five minute wait. Whether you're just passing through or you're a "local" who's only been in town since your last PCS, Hopper's is a solid bet for a good time and a full belly. It's family-friendly, high-energy, and highly recommended. And if you happen to be there when they break out the Bingo, hold onto your hat. They've got a unique set of calls and responses that'll frighten and amaze you the first time you hear 'em--it's somewhere between a drill sergeant's cadence and a tent revival, and it's worth the price of admission just to witness the spectacle.
