I've also seen corn hole boards, ping pong tables and tvs. I've always thought this would be a perfect place to rent out for a few hours, have a wiffleball game and let the kids get their energy out while celebrating a birthday or special occasion. My only reason for deducting one star is the bathrooms could use a little updating (but the ladies room in the back does have lockers and a shower).

One thing to note is if your fur baby is over 1 they do require proof of being spayed or neutered. I'm the kind of guy that wants to learn how to do something the right way, even it's just a hobby. A few people directed me to Eric and from the first lesson you will understand the passion he has for the sport of boxing and technique. There is almost a pinch of OCD in doing things the right way, and he lays the fundamentals down and we begin every lesson by making sure we go through them again. I am only 4 or 5 lessons in, but in each one I have tested myself mentally and physically. I am an extremely small and not in-shape dude, but Eric pushes me to get out of my comfort zone and give it all I have. Let me put it this way, the ring of a bell has never been such a sweet sound. (We train in timed 3 minute "rounds"). I recommend Eric and Vintage Boxing to anyone at any level that wants a great workout, but also has interest in learning the sport of boxing.

After hearing about Skin HC from a friend, I decided to stop by, and lucky me--they had just begun their soft opening. I was greeted by name and welcomed with delicious spa water, which immediately made me feel cared for. The ceilings feel a bit low and confined, compared to that of other locations. The wooden floors in the group exercise room are noticeably bouncy. I'm not sure if this is intentional. Staff is extremely friendly, informative, and professional. Good customer service seems to be a priority. The main drawback is that, unless you've already researched this place online, it's impossible to find. I have driven past this location regularly for years without knowing of its existence. Fortunately, the staff from other businesses inside the James Center building seem to be familiar with the fact that YMCA members are NOT familiar with this branch.
