The kids always have fun and it's a great place to get their energy out. We love having the membership so we can come whenever we want.

While visiting Richmond, we decided to check out Sky Zone Trampoline Park. We've been to Sky Zone back home in Atlanta, so we figured we'd give this location a try too. The kids definitely enjoyed themselves! My son gave it a 4 out of 5 and said, "It was good, I liked it," which pretty much sums it up. He especially loved the basketball area and the slide section. What I appreciated most was how empty it was--not too crowded at all, which made it even better for the kids to really enjoy everything without the chaos. We also caught a great deal--$15 for two hours of jumping--which made it totally worth it. All in all, it was a fun stop during our trip and a solid experience. This SkyZone location had its trampoline area under renovation. It still allowed the kids to play on some of the other limited obstacles. The concession area was well stocked, and the bathrooms were clean. Plenty of nearby parking, but handicapped parking is limited. Not sure this place is worth the money since it was $53 for two kids for 1 1/2 hours, and no discount given the fact that the trampoline part of the facility was being renovated. No real adult supervision (management) visible...teens running the place. Discounts are available for frequent users of SkyZone. Personally, I think the SkyZone in Midlothian is better suited for large groups and parties. read more

Stopped by to check out this location. They have more upgrades than VCC and it looked newer, though still worn. The Team Leader was very friendly and helpful and even let our little one take a quick trial bounce. However, none of the attended areas were attended, so they were all closed. There were a couple of jumpers in the building. About five or six staff were playing basketball when we arrived at 7:28 P on a Wednesday. When that was done, three or four staff proceeded to go sit in a corner and chat while the rest went to the back. Our child went and asked someone for assistance and he got to go on about three items once or twice before they told him no. It must have been getting close to closing because right as we were about to leave they all started vacuuming and cleaning like they were going through the closing task list. I hope this was a one off issue, but I see the same complaint about closed areas in another review.If this happened again, I'd be prepared for a discussion with the manager about getting a refund and then write to the corporate office. IMHO, this place needs better management. YMMV. read more

A group of adults came here for a "play date" in the middle of the afternoon to avoid crowds. That worked out. The place was almost empty. Since I did the waiver online and paid before I got there, check in was a breeze. There was plenty of places to put our stuff without having to pay for a locker. If the place is crowded, there probably wouldn't be a lot of places for parents or non-jumpers to sit, but since it wasn't crowded at all, that wasn't a problem when we were there. Many of the spaces were roped off, but when we asked to use those spaces, the attendant assisted and got us right on. It seemed that they were only roped off because there were only a few people working, so if you had to ask, they were sure to have supervision - and you want supervision in these spaces. All in all, we had a fun time. read more

We held my son's 11th birthday party here. We purchased the Mega VIP package for 10 kids and ordered additional pizzas and beverages. Check-in: We were supposed to have a host to help us through the process on the day-of. What a joke. It was pure chaos when we arrived. Instead of directing us to the party tables, where we were supposed to check-in, the front desk staff made our entire party check in with them, causing a huge line to form behind us. To make matters worse, they intermittently checked-in people behind us, taking away our parties' jumping time. When we were directed to the party table check-in (after the fact), there was no space on OUR ASSIGNED RACK to place our extras, like the cake and party favors. Even though the rack had our name on it, another family used it and the staff offered no alternative. My husband had to stand guard over those items in a corner until it was time to go to our party room. Jumping: the only reason I gave two stars is because the kids had a blast jumping. Layout: I do not understand why this building has such a poor layout. There is limited seating at the front and on the sides of some jumping stations. The stations are on either side of what amounts to a long rectangular layout, making it impossible to see your kids unless you fight the crowd and go wherever they happen to be. I don't like to hover but do like to know where a group of 10 boys I'm responsible for are. It would make a lot more sense to have a central seating are for parents and have all the stations around. That way, parents aren't pushing and shoving to get to their kids. Party room/coordinator: I asked about our party coordinator several times and was shooed away. The teenage employees told me someone would talk to me 15 minutes before we were supposed to go to our room. That never happened. Finally, 15 minutes AFTER we were supposed to be in our room, I asked to speak with someone who could actually allow us access to our room. Turns out we had no party coordinator and no room. They dropped the ball completely and had to scramble to get us into another room that was set up for a later party. They told us we had to be quick since they would have to set that room up again for the other family, as if this was our fault. Food: as I said, I ordered extra pizza and soda. Not only did they bring the wrong "included" pizza, they brought two small STALE cheese pizzas instead of the three large pepperoni pizzas we paid for. They were disgusting and it was clear they had been sitting around. Again, they dropped the ball. Customer service: I pulled a Karen and asked to speak with a manager before we left. She wasn't very empathetic and offered a discount so small, it didn't even amount to the price of the three pepperoni pizzas we never received. I might take my son back here to jump but I will never pay these people to purportedly host a party again. read more

I'm very worried to go to any sky zone after we had a racist incident happened recently at the Midlothian location. Before canceling my membership I decided to give it one more try. This time we came all the way here from Midlothian and I was totally surprised! Lady at the cashier was super friendly. I love her smile :) This location looks more clean than the Midlo one and the equipments are mostly like new. Kids here were polite even teenagers. When we leave, all the staff at front desk say goodbye to us :) we love sky zone again after this visit. Racism is unacceptable in anywhere! read more

We had personal items stolen from our cubby (I realize that there is a disclaimer) but even after management identified who it was on tape (apparently a repeat offender) and the police were called as there were multiple incidents, we got no resolution. I was told that this happens frequently and they are there almost every week and basically it is what it is. It may be better now, but for a while it was just a place for parents to drop off their young teens. Almost every time I go there is some kind of drama/rudeness/bullying amongst 11-14 year old boys so Just a heads up! And watch your personal belongings! read more

Don't get a membership! Didn't receive the pass perks that were offered when signing up for membership, had to reach out to them. Then once they were received and we attempted to use them, the majority of the park was closed due to failed inspections! Trampolines closed for 6-8 weeks!! No resolution from them as to what will happen with our memberships. Horrible customer service. read more

Had my son's birthday party here - SO UNORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL. It seems like only children work here. They don't care to make your experience a good one. The manager - Jarod? is horrid. I am writing review simply on the actions of this business; not of the actual service they provided. The business is located next to a hotel and there is pretty open parking surrounding the hotel and this business. The immediate hotel parking in the back was filled so I parked in a spot that is located on the side of the hotel between the business and the hotel. Defy had my car towed even though there was no sign and no warning to the hotel. The only visible sign was behind the building if you were coming from the business so you wouldn't see the sign from most views. The cost was $180.00 to get the car and you only have a two-hour window to get your car on a Sunday I think this business should put up more visible signs, have talked to the hotel first instead of inconveniencing costing so many people extra money like that. This could have easily been avoided but instead they acted like rude grouches and ruined a lot of people's stay and it wasn't as if there wasn't plenty of parking for their customers the place had plenty. It goes a long way to be nice and to decide to mean and rude like this I think is probably just indicative of how they do conduct themselves regularly. Just my opinion. read more

My 3 year old enjoyed every minute of this place. Perfect for birthday party's and even has a dave & busters type of game area that's way more affordable and cleaner. I saw employees sweep and clean regularly which is reassuring. read more

I should have looked at the reviews before booking my daughters epic birthday party! , I am just leaving from celebrating my daughters 8th birthday with your group and we are leaving highly disappointed. I arrived at 3:00 pm our party started at 3:30 pm. The folks behind the counter were confused as to why the event coordinator scheduled my party host at 4. So one of the people. behind the counter assisted in getting tableclothes and napkins and said our party host would be in at 4. at 3:30 i asked the front desk does our party start when the coordinator arrives or what? so our party begin jumping at 4:00 pm. at from 4:20- 4:30 i asked the front desk several times who was our party host because i wanted to confirm my party details and ask when the pizza would arrive. they initially said 4:30 was the end of our jump and that our pizza was coming in, but it was 4:30 and my group had only been jumping 30 min when i paid for an hour. Conner bless his heart finally arrived to work and was told that my party would be assigned to him. He was not our party host apparently we did not have one! Conner is about the only thing that went well for the time we were there. he was extremely apologetic and helpful and once assigned to us he never left our side. There was confusion about what i ordered, what we should have received. i dont even have the birthday shirt for the birthday girl. the young lady behind the counter was gracious to take off something off my bill. however the amount we paid and the expectations we had were not met. This was our first experience with defy and this probably will be our last! There are a bunch of kids running this place which is fine but someone has to be organized, coordinate and make decisions. it got 2 stars because the kids loved the space and Conner helped. read more

Do not go to this location if you want to use a gift card. They said they don't take gift cards because their system isn't set up for them and hasn't been fixed for months. Had to drive 20 minutes to the other location...seems to be against policy based off of the back of the gift card that says it can be used at ALL defy locations. I took my son to celebrate his birthday with his friend at DEFY Short Pump. We arrived at the park at 3:45 p.m. and purchased two admission tickets for a total of $51.98. Everything was going okay until approximately an hour into our visit when my son and his friend decided to play in front of the DodgeBall area. my son was a victim of racial assault led by a DEFY associate and 4-5 other guests throwing them balls targeting on their faces and calling names such as "beaner," "dirty Mexican," and "border hopper" The boys hurled dodgeballs excessively hard at my son's face, including the DEFY associate himself. Additionally, derogatory comments about my son's weight were made. no actions have been taken by Mr AJ Jone, General Manager whom I escalated my concern at the moment. VERY SCARY AND DISTURBING SITUATION experiencing the Racism of the associate of this place. read more

Came to the short pump location for a kid's play date. We were told when we were purchasing the tickets that the main course area was closed but that the back trampolines were open and the ninja course would be opening soon as soon as they finished blowing it up. I could see them inflating so that seemed reasonable/never mind that the park had been open for over an hour so why were they just inflating them now...kids go and play in the only open area which was the back trampolines, and proceed to play for the next 30 minutes. Then the kids got bored and started asking us when the ninja course would be open because we could see they were done inflating but the yellow rope was still closing off the area. I decided to go and ask and when I did the staffer told me that the area was closed because they didn't have anyone to staff that area. I was ticked with the different story since had we known, we could have gone somewhere else before we paid for our tickets. The staffer was rude when I said that's not what we were told when we came in and I asked to speak with the manager. The same staffer who had checked us in came out, apparently they were the manager. They explained that the area was not closed and they just needed someone to come over and watch the kids. Confused, I asked if my kid could come play on it in that case, but again they said no. They went on like that talking in circles telling me how it was open but that my kid couldn't go on it. Before we went to leave a birthday party came in and lo and behold the manager got up there and opened the ninja course for them. No additional staff ever arrived. They could have done that the entire time but didn't. I understand there's a nationwide staffing shortage but this was just rude and unnecessary. Don't get my kids hopes up so they're set up to be disappointed and charge me full price when you know you're only giving people 30% of what they're paying for. Needless to say it was not a good experience , I felt like I'd been ripped off, and my kid was disappointed when it was all said and done. Thanks for nothing! read more
