Our inflatable was in perfect condition, and the kids had a blast from the moment it was dropped off until the moment it was picked up. I work in a small gallery on Royal Street. Urban Earth Design Studio's large and loud truck was parked outside our door, and left on and rumbling for several hours. After we returned from lunch and they were still there, we politely requested if they would be willing to move the truck back a new feet (there was about 10 feet of space behind them) to lessen the noise pollution in our small work space. The driver came stomping over to my colleague and I, demanding to know if we had a "problem with his truck". We repeated the request, and he reacted completely inappropriately, saying that we "did not own the street". When we tried to explain our noise situation he proceeded to swear at us, and walked away. When he passed by again on his way back to the truck, he proceeded to shout something threatening into our doorway and left.

At the moment, I cannot comment upon their float-making or building skills, but someday I hope to organize an entire parade -- the Krewe of Yelpy Gras, perhaps -- and therefore will be looking to commission original float sculptures. However, that is a story for another time. Specifically, the future. In short, Studio 3 is a mini-Mardi Gras World. That's the best way to describe it. If you've been to Mardi Gras World, you know what I mean. If you haven't, I suggest you go and then come back and read this review so it will actually mean something to you. Coolest thing, as far as I could tell, was the boxing ring they had over in the corner. For this particular party it was designated as the "special roped off dance area in the VIP area" over toward the left side of backstage, and it was fun to bounce up and down on the ropes, as well as run back and forth across the ring as you bounced off them. The ropes were like giant rubberbands, if rubberbands were made of plastic cord that's shaped like rope. The party was fun, the space is super cool, and I'd love to have an event here someday. Also, I was told that the owner of Studio 3 teaches boxing there, hence the boxing ring, so if you're into that sort of thing perhaps you might want to look into it. This time we prepaid for a nighttime light up ride. Upon arrival, you get to choose a bike. There are many bikes in the patio area. They have baskets which is great for golding idea. You sign out the bike and receive a quick tutorial from guides on hand signals, route and other info. Our guides Curtis and Herb were amazing. We enjoyed the touted which allowed for photo ops, dance breaks and food/drink stops. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun activity.
