As it turns out the basement doesn't go to the mainline but goes through an ejector tank & pump up to the mainline. It took Dave about 3 minutes to diagnose the problem as a failed pump. He basically cleared the schedule the next day, had the pump replaced and we're back in business. Communicated through the whole process. Even though dealing with sewage in our basement the job was done spotlessly with a very thorough clean up. Pricing seems very reasonable though we didn't shop around. I'll give this locally owned small business a call every time and just skip my home warranty in the future. Much less headache for a reasonable price.
