We got lots more to do, so we will schedule you again real soon. When you buy a home you trust the inspector but we are now realizing he does not catch everything that is wrong. Especially, all the little things that add up. It was easy to book the appointment and we were glad it was not far out. You guys I hate making phone calls. When I request estimates from businesses on Yelp and I get a response "give us a call to discuss," I hate it! I would have called to begin with if that's what I wanted to do. Thankfully, Pagni Maintenance made it suuuuper easy to arrange everything online. Yay! Allan was available to come out like a week after my initial request - a-ok because it was all stuff I have been living with for months, or years (ugh!). He arrived promptly and we went over all the projects (though I added some as we went) and then he dove right in, easily fixing things that have been driving me nuts - like, all the strike plates on my doors were misaligned somehow and wouldn't close all the way. Fixed! My kitchen sink faucet moved around when I used it...fixed! A cabinet came off its hinge, I needed a motion sensor light installed outside and a coat rack hung inside, and most importantly - a leaking shed roof. I was expecting just an estimate for the shed, which I assumed would be a giant project and really expensive. Allan climbed right up on top and determined I may not need a new roof. He re-sealed it in a bunch of places, including around some weird sky lights the previous owner put in. If it doesn't work, he'll put a new roof on, but I love trying something less expensive first. If it works, it works! I also asked about another project and he couldn't help with that, but told me who to call. I love that he didn't just pretend he could do it and take my money. I really wanted to love this business after all the great reviews, however the work I received was subpar. My curtains in 2 of the 3 rooms are crooked, even after the fact he re:hung them to make them even. My boyfriend was not too happy that there were multiple drill holes in the wall, which he filled them, only because I had the spackle on hand. The bathroom has a nail drilled into the wall, right under the toilet paper holder he installed. It looks like he went into deep and maybe didn't think I would notice? It looks tacky. wow! a great person, exceptionally reasonable prices, completed the job and then some! got his recommendation from the nextdoor app. initially called him to check out noises inside the chimney (not critters) - he got up in the attic and didn't see anything amiss. got up on the roof and looked down the chimney - saw a lot of bird poop and recommended we call a chimney sweep to clean. said the mortar around the base of the chimney (house built in 60s) needed redoing. he didn't charge for this visit!! asked him to come back and redo the mortar the following week - great job at minimal cost! will definately call him again if anything else needs attention! thanks, allan! read more
