I had been wanting to do a pinup-themed shoot for some time, but had talked myself out of it for several silly reasons. I wasn't comfortable with how my body looked, or my skin, or I wanted to lose a little weight first... And my friends shared the same sentiment. We all had conversations with Candy about our concerns, and she not only understood, but assured us that she could guide poses and positions to hide or accentuate anything we wanted. We decided to take advantage of one of her marathon shoots, so we could all go together and support each other. Candy takes every detail into consideration, from having mimosas and snacks, to door prizes, our favorite music playing in the background, and an idea of what we wanted our shoot to center around. She asked questions periodically up to the day of the shoot, so she knew our personalities, our favorite (and not so favorite) attributes of our bodies, and even our hobbies so she could suggest props or themes. She really blew us away with her attention to detail and her interest in the outfits or props we were choosing. She made me feel like we were close friends, which eased the slight anxiety I had. The location was relaxing and absolutely beautiful, and there were several options and rooms for different looks. I walked away from the experience feeling more connected to my friends, but more importantly, I walked away feeling sexy and attractive in a way that I can't describe. I felt empowered and beautiful and I feel that Candy captured all these emotions perfectly. She made feel comfortable in front of the camera, she was continually encouraging me, and she made me feel like a supermodel. The four of us decided on the way home that we will book another shoot with her again soon. I even ordered a calendar the day of the shoot at a discounted price, because I know I will want a keepsake of the experience. Aside from having stunning pictures of myself to look back on forever, I have the memory of an amazing girls' day out with a group of women who inspire me in different ways every day. Whether you're doing a boudoir shoot for your spouse or partner (or for yourself, like me!), or any of the other amazing options she offers (family, senior, engagement, etc) You'll never want to use another photographer. You walk down the aisle, have some cake, hit the dance floor, and then you're saying goodbye to your guests. Because of this, having pictures gives you the opportunity to look back at moments that went by too quickly or those you may have missed, and if they're good, you truly can relive that time and that space. This is exactly what we got from Liz! When I first met her, I knew immediately that she was the one and she did NOT disappoint. You can look at samples of her work and see that she is absolutely amazing, so I won't spend much time there because what I really want to talk about is her heart. During our engagement shoot, Liz was so fun and relaxed! She was able to put us at ease and make us laugh; she even kept me calm when we were confronted by an unwelcomed guest. A few days before our 2021 New Year's Eve wedding, my husband contracted COVID, and the world stopped for me! We still wanted to get married on this date, so we planned to quickly elope in a local park, socially-distanced from one another. Do you know who was there to capture this moment - Liz. When I realized that I'd left the marriage certificate at home and it needed a witness signature a few days later, guess who was there with a black ink pen - Liz! And during our wedding, she was there with her assistant and captured some of the most beautiful moments I could ever image. Getting married is a big deal and you want this day to be perfect, so choosing a photographer who produces beautiful work is important; however, it is important to choose a photographer who is beautiful as well. This is exactly who Liz is! She is gracious and kind, thoughtful and charismatic, and I cannot sing her praises enough! She will forever have a place in our hearts... and on our marriage license!

The decor, the friendliness of the staff, the price point, and everything else was the same. Even though things are the same, I do like that they have updated their photos/backgrounds to a more modern look. They also took my daughter out back to snap a few shots (that option wasn't available when I had mine taken). The process of setting up your photoshoot is pretty easy. I called in, selected my date and time, then received an email/text to confirm. The staff is really friendly. They made us feel comfortable the entire time. We did not feel rushed at all. We just had a nice time creating memories that will last a lifetime. Check them out!

I am a professional videographer and, although I don't do it any more, I used to do a lot of weddings. He was able to get her scheduled quickly - and we only had two days until we needed pics, The pictures were awesome and included many poses. Then, we were able to view the photos and Roman even got them to us the next day. We have had many compliments on the photo. I would highly recommend Roman for any pics you may need. Just having him around on my wedding day was really calming and helped put me in a great mood, and that is more important than I realized. I didn't realize how very crucial it was to make sure I had a photographer who I really enjoyed being around, but think about it--he's there all day following you around! You really do need to love the person. And I did. Everyone did. I hate when I go to weddings and I get yelled at by the photographer--Steve is NOT that guy. His prices are very competitive and he does have packages, but you can just consider those suggestions or starting points. He'll work with you to give you whatever you want. I loved, loved, loved my photos! And he gave me ALL of the prints. All of them, which I think is amazing. He does both traditional and photojournalistic; he said photojournalistic is what he really loves to do, and it's what I had him do mainly. If you want your photos VERY artsy or modern, Steve might not be your guy. Then again, he might be--I think you could tell him what you want and he would do an awesome job with it.

I'm wearing a dog mask and I think it's hilarious! Amurica is the best one I've been to yet! It's a 1960s style small camping trailer turned photo booth. He's pretty much iconic and a local legend. And no, I don't take saying that lightly or even in jest. Dude is seriously at every rockin' party and everyone wants a photo in his photo booth. He is the cool kid in town and everyone wants a piece of him! And who can blame said soul? His pictures are unique, funky, quirky, different...I could go on.
