Just having him around on my wedding day was really calming and helped put me in a great mood, and that is more important than I realized. I didn't realize how very crucial it was to make sure I had a photographer who I really enjoyed being around, but think about it--he's there all day following you around! You really do need to love the person. And I did. Everyone did. I hate when I go to weddings and I get yelled at by the photographer--Steve is NOT that guy. His prices are very competitive and he does have packages, but you can just consider those suggestions or starting points. He'll work with you to give you whatever you want. I loved, loved, loved my photos! And he gave me ALL of the prints. All of them, which I think is amazing. He does both traditional and photojournalistic; he said photojournalistic is what he really loves to do, and it's what I had him do mainly. If you want your photos VERY artsy or modern, Steve might not be your guy. Then again, he might be--I think you could tell him what you want and he would do an awesome job with it.

I don't even know where to begin about how much I love @loonphotography. And as anyone who has spent a millisecond in front of the camera knows, the personality of the photographer makes or breaks how a shoot is going to go. You need someone who is sweet and fun and bring out your personality so she can capture your personality on film - and she does that by putting you right to ease. She's one of those people who you fall in love with after talking to for 2 seconds because you feel like you've known her your whole life. Some of my absolutely favorite shots have been taken by her and I'm so glad I did a boudoir shoot with her as a lil time capsule of my body before I hit 30. She does everything! I would tell her to her face that I'd recommend her (to spare her feelings) and then I wouldn't, and I'd say, "Oh, they've already booked someone else..." She did my engagement photos (I'm the one making out in front of the church doors--nice) and I LOVED them. They are so cool and different and modern and awesome and I'm just gonna go ahead and put this out there, people are jealous of them. She also did a bunch of my dogs in formalwear, which I forced upon them for wedding purposes...it is not easy to shoot a moving target, but she always gets her man!
