Given the importance of this family event, with relatives coming from all over Florida, I was keen on ensuring everything was perfectly planned. After paying the deposit and reviewing the contract - which included the requirement for the photographer to approve the location - I sent an email detailing our interests for rustic, beachy scenery and asked for preferred locations but received no response. Despite being willing to comply with the contract's payment terms, similar to my experiences with other photographers, I expressed concerns about proceeding without knowing the location, especially given the significant cost of nearly $700. The photographer stated they would forward location details the next morning after payment was received but this never materialized beyond an email with just the session's time and date. Upon requesting location information again and reiterating my readiness to pay as per the agreement, the photographer canceled the session the day before it was due to take place, without providing any details or apology. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also stressful, given the effort my family made to be there for this milestone. I would advise against engaging this photographer's services due to their apparent lack of professionalism and communication. I will add though she did offer to refund my deposit which I said yes to but have not received but the deposit was not the point it's the principal of this persons creditability and character. If we couldn't obtain a photographer all the time and effort WE placed in to this would have been ruined! Thankful for the other professional photographer that came through last minute!
