If Hippocrates actually said "do no harm", Dr. John Yee has developed his own modified version of…read morethe oath. His pledge is to "do great good for those who need you most". Two years ago I spent much of my time moving through life in a wheelchair because of a serious foot injury. I was facing seemingly impossible odds when I met Dr. John Yee. While other physicians had given up on my case, Dr. Yee engaged his unending creative problem-solving skills suggesting unique treatments that resolved my problem and resulted in a much-improved lifestyle. As I began to improve, Dr. Yee suggested that an exercise program would be essential to my regaining strength and balance. He found a gym whose talented owner agreed to work with several of his patients recovering from serious medical issues. Under his direction, five of us we're pushed and challenged and we improved --- and then Covid-19 hit and the gym had to close. Dr. Yee then stepped in and offered to personally teach us martial arts strategies and techniques to continue our recovery using a virtual platform. Dr. Yee now coaches us in strength training, balance strategies and relaxation techniques and we continue to grow physically and mentally. His gentle concern has strengthened our minds, bodies and souls. Because of his concern, I am today a seventy-one-year-old woman, who had never been athletic, exercising 7 days a week, learning taekwondo and feeling stronger than ever. I am proud of myself for never giving up. I know that I owe this new life and confidence to my brilliant, challenging physician / life coach, Dr. John Yee. I will always be grateful to him for making the latter part of my life the best part!

He is thorough with his explanation of a procedure - everything, including after-surgery care and expected time of recovery. Having a torn tendon in the foot, the surgery went smoothly and as he explained beforehand. Removal of a bunion was also done perfectly. I would highly recommend Dr. Shannon to anyone. After seeing other foot doctors who could not diagnose the foot tendon issue or a solution, we were fortunate to learn of Dr. Shannon through a long-time friend whom Dr. Shannon provided outstanding surgical service to. To add an important additional comment, Nicole was outstanding with customer service and scheduling. Thank you so much!

Additionally, with rare exception, the receptionist are uncaring and ignore you until they get done with what they are doing. A simple "I'm sorry, I will be right with you" would work. My opinion, if it were my practice, two thirds of the office personnel would be looking for jobs. You get a 3 only because the doctors and nurses are so good. If tis rating were solely based on the office personnel.........do you have a "zero" score?
