This place has great doctors but it's a chain/ Corporate…read more It's so difficult to reach them By phone that I actually called corporate But I'm still having problems with this practice It took me two months to get the first shot Because they sent it out with the wrong doctor missing documentation. Finally after my persistence it got sent out and approved after 2 mos. Now waiting for shot two and it took them 9 days to send it out to my insurance. This is unexceptionable. I still can't reach anyone Except surgery unit to speak to. If you need medicine and don't get it right there With the dr forget about getting a response No one ever answers the phone or calls back. They need new experienced staff members Or doctors go out on your own this had been Aggravating and frustrating on my end. No other office have I ever encountered this Mismanagement but here. Again the dr is great but he's surrounded by incompetent staff. It's a chain so does that explain

Highly Not Recommended…read more More than half of staff rude, unprofessional and don't speak to you properly. They are rough in tone and don't respect privacy (big issue here). I am in the medical field and I deal with deathly ill patients and a compliment or tone goes a long way. I recently was diagnosed with Lupus and then Stage 2 RA. I have been in a lot of pain so my Dr referred me here. Dr Man Le was nice, patient and understanding at my first visit, then I received a letter stating he was no longer with the practice. I have been back 3 times since he left and they have yet to find another Dr or have a Dr see me. I have seen staff assistants ie NP or who knows who I have seen. I was explaining my issues and symptoms and they said I will let the Dr know and follow up with a call. Hmmm I thought it was a Dr but nope. Then I had a couple MRI's done at JFK hospital more than 2 months ago and both times I asked about my results the person that saw me in the office stated we haven't received results yet. And when they called for results they were told by JFK medical records they can't release results to them. Very odd when they are the ordering physician considering I worked for (HCA)for over 16 years and I know that (HCA) doesn't withhold reports Dr referred and ordered. Weird. Anyways, they said they will get results after I signed a release and get back to me. Unfortunately that was more than 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard from the Dr office. I called and I was advised Dr will call me. Still nothing. Last night I had a Lupus Flare/RA Flare which left me in excruciating pain. I called the office again this morning only to ask if I can take the meds they prescribed a couple hours earlier in which it says every 12 hours. They told me they are not allowed to ask the Dr about any pain medications refills or requests. I explained to them it's not a request for meds or refills; I only have a questions on if it is ok to take sooner because the pain was severe and I am a stickler to following directions and didn't want to take sooner if not allowed. The lady that I spoke to said her supervisor TIA said she is not allowed to call or page Dr to ask any questions regarding pain or pain meds. And was very unconcerning, and very blunt with a rude tone. I will be looking for another office and no longer going to go to this office. People fail to understand that sicknesses and diseases arise without no fault of the patients and pain is real which can land you on your back. And no one knows when they will be faced with this same issue and in need of help. I am in my early 40's and never thought this would happen to me. I have worked with gravely Ill patients for the last 16 years and see how they suffer and never thought I would be in this same situation as them. I know my review is long and lengthy but my experience was not good. A smile, your tone and a compliment goes a long way. I do not recommend this office for several reasons. Main reason is the staff, second reason their is no Dr assigned to this office at least a Dr that you can see, thirdly if you are in an emergency situation or need; they will not talk to you or let you speak to the Dr. forth the office is not clean and always have a bad smell in the overcrowded lobby and another issue; their is no patient privacy- everyone knows your history and personal information because they talk loudly at the front desk and put you on the spot. As well as patient information being exposed on the desk. I am very observant and I take pride in my patients confidentiality. What a shame that people treat you as though you are a drug addict; when truly you have people that never thought they would end up in this situation. I pray that the staff change their heart and treat each person as an individual and understand their needs and how to be treated. Treat them as to how you would like to be treated. Dr Man Le was very friendly and patient with me, but now he is gone. If you can find another Dr office do so. We have choices your experience may be better/worst but for me wasn't good. God Bless!

Do not go to this doctor's office, no one know what they are doing or care about the patient. I had to wait two months to recover from my surgery to get the injection. Called last week to set up an appointment and went to the appointment today. They told me I didn't have an appointment, This is not the first time I've had to deal with incompetence at this office, but I guarantee you it will be the last. I will never go back to Dr. Katz's office..

I had to go to my PCP to get a referral for this appointment. A lot of things in work for me to arrive and then they say they are no longer accepting new patients. No one bothered to call me and tell me this. Now I have to go back to my PCP to get a referral for another doctor. This is ridiculous and they do not give 1 shit about you. Who cares if it took 6 weeks total and two days off of work to get to this appointment. They are very sorry though. Sorry enough that they called me and texted me confirmation for this appointment three days in a row before my visit, but did not bother to tell me. The woman had no remorse and cared none at all about me.
