Paint Corps did a fantastic job painting my bedroom and bathroom. The husband-and-wife team that came out took their time, paid close attention to detail, and still got the job done efficiently. They applied two coats of paint to both the ceilings and the walls, carefully touching up any spots that were missed. They also cleaned up thoroughly and put all furniture back in its proper place. The inspector and project manager, Elijah Tucker, maintained excellent communication with me throughout the project and even provided his personal cell number in case I had any concerns. His inspection team came out afterward and did a fabulous job reviewing the work. They pointed out minor deficiencies, which were quickly corrected. The walkthrough was very thorough. They even had a trainee, Dominique, who was very professional and knowledgeable as he trained to become an inspector. I appreciated that they had a separate team dedicated to inspecting the completed work to ensure quality. Another thing I liked was the five-year warranty they provided on the job. They will return for touch-ups if needed, which gave me peace of mind. They used top-of-the-line Sherwin-Williams paint and took no shortcuts. I had been researching painters for weeks before choosing this company, and I can truly say it was the best choice I have made. Their pricing was very reasonable, and they did not nickel-and-dime me like some other companies. I felt safe having them in my home--they felt like family. We recently had the exterior of our stucco house painted by Paint Corp and were very pleased with the friendly, professional service and how quickly the work was completed. That having been said, a few issues kept this from being a five-star experience. Several cracks in the stucco (approximately 5-10) were not filled before painting and remained clearly visible afterward. On our old front door, the preparation felt inadequate; the peeling areas were not sanded down sufficiently, and the areas where the wood grain was exposed were not properly primed. As a result, the new paint is simply sitting on top of the old failing paint, and the grain is still showing through. We also noticed several paint drips. We were very relieved that Paint Corp was responsive when we reported the issues and that they quickly sent the painter back out to patch and repaint the missed stucco cracks and apply a second coat to the door. While the door still doesn't meet our expectations, the additional coat helped and it was nice we didn't have to fight with anyone to get it taken care of. However, we were disappointed by the overall lack of organization. The painter arrived five days early because he had been given the wrong address. The Project Manager who inspected the finished job (a very polite young man) admitted he had no experience with exterior painting and missed every imperfection during his walkthrough. When we complained, they sent him back out, but he still didn't thoroughly inspect the perimeter, he simply took photos of the issues we had already pointed out. The painter was then pulled from another job at the last minute to make the repairs, with no notes or photos to guide him on what needed fixing. Finally, we're concerned about the longevity of the paint job. Aside from our feelings about the door, we're very happy with how the house looks now that the cracks have been filled and repainted, but the entire project (including pressure washing, trim work, base coat, color coat, back-rolling, and the door) was completed in roughly five hours. While we appreciated the speed, it felt rushed, and we question whether the work was done thoroughly enough to last. We chose Paint Corp because of their strong reviews, longest warranty, and highest price, expecting top-quality results, but only time will tell how well the paint holds up. Hired Paint Corps for a house and detached garage paint after going with CertPro for many of my past projects. First, the foundation clear, pressure wash, and tape out were very well executed--like they owned my house. Second, no messes or over-sprays to clean up! Third, they placed everything they moved back and left the site clean. The quality of paint (versus what the builder put on) has added a luster to the house that just looks clean and polished. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY !!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are a subcontractor stay far far away from this company. Here are screenshots of how they operate. I completed an exterior project for them on Friday 02.27.2026. I kept asking for payment tha following Monday and Tuesday, only for them to withhold 20% of my payment with no communication as to why. I had to inquire as to why only 80% was paid out. Toni the operations manager then informs me that they have not closed out the job due to a correction having to be made on a stucco repair that they had ANOTHER subcontractor ( that I have absolutely no correlation with) perform on the home. Toni not once mentioned anything about this situation prior to withholding 20% of my payment. As you can see from the messages she also expected that I go back after the stucco correction, re-prime and re-paint the area, without mentioning any additional payment. I made it clear that this was poor business practice as I have absolutely no ties or control over the subcontractor who they hired for the stucco correction. This also shows their lack of quality control and project management abilities as they should not have scheduled a painter until the stucco issue was resolved but instead they signed off on poor craftsmanship and scheduled me to paint. I have asked for multiple updates from Toni (one by the end of last week, one by Monday) neither came. I have asked her multiple times for the owners contact information specifically his email, she will not provide it. To the Owner, Mr. Burgess, I am sure you are aware of the situation and if you are not, well you should know that I told Toni multiple times that a review with screenshots could have been avoided by simply paying me what I am owed. If you have been aware the whole time then you have a lot of reflecting to do of how terribly you are screwing people over. For your slogan to be "Hire a Vet" implying you are a veteran, you have no honor or accountability, you are making your fortune off the backs of brown folks. Myself as a veteran would never in a million years run a business in this manner. Your company will not survive long paying someone $1137.00 for a complete exterior paint of a two story 2,171 sq Ft house,(body, Facia, soffits, front and garage door, trim) then withholding 20% of that already very low sub budget due to another subcontractors negligence. They can't even stick to a scheduled appointments. I had an appointment at 8:30 AM and the morning of the appointment they change it to 9:15. If they can't show up on time for an appointment then that sets the tone of what the work is going to be like . A lot of hype with advertisements, social media, long winded emails on guarantees, Veteran owned and they can't even make a scheduled appointment. read more

Do not recommend. Botton line: They got everything done but it was almost a full week overdue, the quote did not match the work orders they gave their subcontractors, and I had to complain on a near constant basis. There was a significant amount of miscommunication between the people that quoted the job, the people that managed the job, and the various subcontractors and crews they had do the job. The individual that completed the quote on our job was aware of the fact we were prepping to go on the market and when. The only reason I went with Paint Corps is because they agreed to do the required wood work and could do it on time to go on the market. The quote was $2000 higher than anyone else, but when the subcontractors showed up, they did not have anything on their work order for wood replacement or repair. We had also agreed to stain the front door which was not on the work order either. When I contacted Paint Corps, they told me that those things had not been included and required additional quotes. After my vehement protest, they did honor the original quoted price. We ended up having to delay our house going on the market by a week. We had to delay the real estate photographer twice and the Paint Corps crew was still finishing when the photographer showed up. I am not sure if there is anyone better but I certainly would not use them again or recommend them to any one else. read more

I contacted Paint Corps Of Tampa to paint the exterior of my residence due to building four years prior. The first crew arrived and did not fix any of the stucco cracks prior to painting the sides of the residence. Once I checked on the first days progress and observed the cracks painted over, I contacted my project manager, Crystal. The crew returned the following day and began to fill in the stucco cracks that were marked by myself (painters tape) due to being hard to locate due to the fresh paint. The crew continued and painted the entire residence. I began a thorough walk of the "completed" work and observed multiple issues to include grass at the bottom of the house painted into the stucco, paint splatter all over the windows, doors, pavers, and decorative stone. I further observed multiple areas with uneven paint that did not match the rest of the areas. Lastly, I learned while painting the garage doors, the paint gun tip was not properly seated and came off causing paint to be spilled on my concrete driveway. The painter decided to use a metal tool to try to remove the paint which was ineffective and scratched my concrete. He then purchased a chemical that ultimately ruined the color of the concrete. Due to all the issues, I requested Crystal respond to conduct a walk-through after providing photographs. Crystal responded along with the owner, Burgess Perry. After the walk-through was completed, it was determined a new crew would respond to correct these issues. While the new crew did a "better cleanup" job, all of the issues were unable to be corrected. Due to taking pride in keeping my residence in excellent condition, I was highly pissed and upset over choosing the more expensive "appealing" veteran backed company. After 2.5 years, I noticed my garage door paint, bubbling. After multiple phone calls and emails I finally received a response when I advised Paint Corps I was going to make this issue public if they did not respond. I received a phone call back within a few hours the same day. Once again, Burgess Perry responded, and acknowledged he remembered my residence and the prior issues. Burgess claimed this was abnormal with the garage door bubbling, and it had been three years. I explained to Burgess there's a five-year warranty per his contract and the garage door was not previously bubbling. Burgess advised he would contact his Sherwin-Williams rep and would let me know on the best route to fix this issue. Burgess did not feel being exposed to the sun for three years warranted Paint Corps replacing the garage door panel under warranty as there was no other guaranteed fix. Therefore, it was my obligation to replace the garage door and they would paint the garage door. I again emphasized paint bubbling was not a normal trait on this type of paint or 2.5 years warranted this defect. It seemed the crew failed to prep the garage doors properly and Burgess was not taking any responsibility for this issue. I personally had a horrible experience, with crews trying to cut corners. Burgess sells this company on being military friendly and holding family values. Meanwhile, when issues are brought to the attention of the company, they are slow to no response for any follow up. Burgess is purely seeking profit and has no reasonable business practice. Furthermore, Burgess does not comply with his own contracts. We got our kitchen, bath, and laundry room cabinets painted by Paint Corps in October 2025. We went with them because they were Veteran owned and advertised operated exclusively by Veterans. Also, because they would do the work in 4-5 DAYS. ALL this was NOT TRUE. The workers were NOT Veterans and it took them 4 WEEKS to complete the job. The crew was HORRIBLE!! The cabinets were not smooth, paint was splotchy, and navy paint from the cabinets was all over our light grey walls. The cabinet doors weren't put back level and draw fronts put back incorrectly. Sounds bad, but the WORST of it was the navy dust alllllll throughout our villa. We could wipe the navy dust off EVERTHING....furniture, pictures, shutters, floors, you name it. The reason for this is that they did not seal off the area to contain the sanding and spraying of the navy cabinets, which most of the work should have been done off site. We never got an apology and had to fight with them for months to even make good the money we paid out for the counters being rebuffed and the cleaning service we had to get. They should be ashamed to associate themselves with Veterans. My husband is a Veteran and Honor and Ethics is why we went with them in the first place. They kept sending us invoices and we kept calling to speak to someone. It took months to finally get to speak to the owner. We explained what had happened, we had over 50 pictures proving the horrible situation we went through and he was NOT sympathetic. WE ended up settling on a balance, but it DID NOT compensate us for the clean up we had to do ourselves or the mess we put up with for 4 weeks. We would NEVER recommend Paint Corp!!!! We would like to recommend the 2nd crew that fixed the problem, but was then let go by Paint Corp. They started their own business....Chris's Advanced Painting LLC 813-381-2924/813-312-8306. Exterior house painted by painting contractor presented by Paint Corps. Job was surprisingly good considering they broke my facet on side of house as the worker tried to take off. Plumber had to be called, but contractor paid $400 bill. There was also a Paint spray incident where Paint gasket was loose and house paint sprayed my next door neighbor's PU truck. One Painter had to stop and clean truck. Not to mention the Paint they tried to wash down my street leaving a streak all the way to the street corner. The day began with the painters not knowing what paint to buy to do the job. Neither Cody (owners son) nor Elijah the project leaders knew nothing about the selected colors. One more thing, if you're looking for Veteran's discount, you won't get it unless you selected the high-end pkg. The lower pkgs don't get the discount. Elijah came for walk thru the day after paint job completed. He was very pleasurable and customer , however, when originally contacted by Cody, he was not as customer oriented, nor respondive. read more

To start, if there was a Zero Star Rating, I would assign it 0 starts. I signed a contract with Paint Corps to paint the exterior of my home in July. We agreed on all terms, contained in the contract, including Touchups and a 5-year guarantee. A start date was also agreed to. On the start date, a Monday as they explained that they usually block a week for a job, no one showed. No one called. It turned out the crew had a disabled vehicle. Day 2/Tuesday, another no show. Day 3/Wednesday, another no show. Finally, on Thursday, they arrived and the team worked through Friday. They were rushed at this point, and did a sloppy job, one that upon inspection, required considerable touchup work. This is when the real saga began. Over the ensuing six months, and multiple schedules, re-schedules and no shows, the touchup work went undone. Significant gaps in paint along trim areas that left some areas exposed, and some surfaces (not visible from ground level, but exposed to rain and sun on the roof area (roof trim, tops of arches, etc.) as well as paint left splattered on glass doors, and a completely butchered job of re-installing door seals on my front doors after they had been removed to paint the doors. Ultimately, after several schedules/re-schedules, I was able to get a Project Manager (son of owner) to come to my home on December 9th. We did an exhaustive walk through and inspection of the work I was seeking to have done with the touchups. We went on the roof as well, and all areas were pointed out to him. He took many photos. I had to loan him some shoes to go up on the roof because he arrived at my home (knowing there was roof work to be looked at) with smooth leather sole street shoes. On December 18, a lone painter was assigned and arrived to do the touchup work. He clearly was not fully briefed by the Paint Corps management team on the extent of what needed to be done. He arrived before noon, and departed when it began to get dark. I inspected the work the following day, and although progress was made, it was not nearly complete. Extensive areas of gaps or simply baren areas (facing up or not immediately visible from the ground) were undone. During all of this, Paint Corps continued to send me invoices, pretty regularly (probably once a week) for months. I would respond each time with my concerns about the touchups, requesting Paint Corps assign a team, and then hold them accountable for showing up and completing the work. Again, this took place over a period of months (July to December). In addition, multiple entities at Paint Corps appeared on these text strings. At one Point, I was threatened with a lien for the work, having completed ignored everything that had happened and clearly not having ready any of the previous text strings outlining that the touchup work had not been completed, and that my repeated requests to schedule it over an extended period had been unsuccessful until December. I was also accused of playing games...again ignoring the reality of the situation...Paint Corps had not complied with their own contract to complete the follow-on touch up work. And let me be clear...This was all very reasonable. The work was not to paint a work of art, but simply to address obvious gaps and the sloppiness with which the original job had been done. The bottom line is this: Paint Corps ultimately had a 2-man team come and largely finish the touchup work on 1/26, over six months after the original job. Dozens of texts, threats and accusations by the Paint Corps management team (via texts--which have all been documented) ignoring my very simple and straightforward requests to get the reasonable touchups completed, and my repeated willingness (in fact eagerness) to get the job completed and settle the invoice, were largely ignored. In the end, this was a very negative experience. I understand the nature of the business, and the reliance on outside contractors to perform work like this. I get it. At the same time, I do not appreciate the Management Team's approach to simply ram-rodding invoices down my throat for six months while altogether ignoring my repeated and very polite requests to get the work completed....before settling the final invoice, but expressly assuring PC that I would settle the invoice the moment the contractually agreed job was complete. This was unprofessional, and I would not recommend utilization of Paint Corps. I am confident that they have very satisfied customers. Regrettably, my experience was quite negative. I regret this even more due to the fact that this is a veteran-affiliated business. As a veteran myself, I felt confident that the job would be completed, and professionally handled. This is unfortunately not how it unfolded. read more

Stay away from this company. Deceptive sales practices! I met with Michael, who is Michelle's brother. I requested a quote with the Emerald paint upgrade for a $300 upcharge. The entire transaction was done on my front porch on his lap top. I was never given a receipt or a written quote to verify the upgrade. When the crew arrived today, the work order stated Duration paint rather than the Emerald. Paint Corps has elected not to upgrade the paint nor honor a credit for the $300 increase. Michael offered me an additional $300 "Close the Deal" to accept the contract. Upon receiving the invoice, the $300 Exterior Paint discount reflected on the cover picture of their pages, was not given to me. They did a bate and switch. Such a disappointment. read more

I hired American Veteran Painting to paint the exterior of my house in Panther Trace. They had a 10-week backlog but I went ahead and waited. There were issues with weather that delayed the start date, but they communicated with me and it worked out. Once on-site, everything went quickly and without incident. They started noon on Tuesday and finished up noon on Friday. This was a 4,000 sq ft house.
