Paid $3200 in January for vinyl flooring to be installed in our kitchen and family room the…read morebeginning of February. Within a week of the new flooring being installed we started noticing a "snapping" noise as we walked throughout the rooms. As the days went on we started noticing it in more and more spots. We contacted Superior Flooring about the issue. We were told someone would be over that day, and if not they'd be calling us. They did not come that day. They contacted us again the next week. By the time they came to inspect the floor there were spots that were actually buckled. They inspected it. Then someone else came and inspected it. Then they came and took a sample of the flooring to send to the manufacturer - it was a new product and they believed the glue was defective. Then we waited weeks with no news. We had to contact them again to find out what was going on with the issue. We were told they submitted the bad installment to their insurance company, and were awaiting info from the manufacturer. Then we called again a few weeks later. We were told Roger would be coming by our home with a manufacturer rep to discuss what was to happen with the flooring. The rep came but Roger did not. The manufacturer rep took ANOTHER sample of the flooring as he said they never received the original sample that was taken a month previously. Finally in JUNE Superior Flooring reinstalled the same product however this time with more glue. Within days the same snapping issues occured. They came back and applied more glue to the trouble spots. However the issue continued. A week and a half after the installation I contacted Roger told him the issue was persisting and that I would like them to brainstorm how they would fix it. The following week Roger and another man visited our home and stated that the product wasn't sticking because one of joices in the floor was higher than the rest creating a "crown" and that our home was older so the floor was more flexible than the product we chose. Apparently the age of my home and this raised joice were not evident when they originally visited to measure for the new floor. We were instructed to visit the showroom and choose a different product. The first week of JULY the new flooring was installed. We have had no issues with it. Throughout this entire ordeal - and it HAS BEEN an ordeal - we let Superior Flooring know that we were expecting some compensation for the inconvenience of the situation - having to move our furniture 3xs, the house being in disarray for months on end (after the fiasco of the first installment we did not put everything back in its place - ie. China in the chinacloset, shelving units back in the kitchen etc). Once the 3rd installment was complete we contacted Superior Flooring again about compensation, we asked to speak to Roger. We were told he wasn't available. We asked to have him return our call. About a half hour later we received a call from the salesperson we talked to earlier and were told that we would receive no compensation due to the fact that they have a 'make it right' policy and that most flooring companies would not bother to fix issues with a faulty install, these other flooring companies would have just given us our money back and it would be our problem to have repaired. We told the salesperson we wanted to talk to Roger or the owner regarding the issues/compensation and would like a call back from them. Never received a call from Roger or the owner. We feel that 7 months is ENTIRELY too long to wait for a suitable floor to be installed. We think they should change their policy name to the "make it right eventually policy". I would NOT recommend this company to ANYONE. They are unprofessional, they do not return calls in a timely manner, and they give you the run around. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau regarding the shoddy service we have received from them.

Also to the young man who repaired our OLD kitchen floor (Great Job). And to store owners for not charging for the repair job. I can't believe this place is hiding in the middle of nowhere. Restoration Hardware wishes they were these guys. However, when we received our follow up pricing email for unfinished pieces needing work we were floored. The prices are double the price a finished RH piece would cost and at least 30% over the price of similar vintage items available (finished) in Brooklyn or San Francisco.

The wide-plank, matte flooring with big knots that we fell in love with at several local retail stores was $15-25/sq. ft. We couldn't afford it. Enter The Woods Company! Karen Durning was truly a joy to work with. She was incredibly helpful and was able to get us exactly what we wanted, within our (tight) timeframe, AND within our budget. Our installer (who has been in the business for 35 years and initially tried to talk us into buying from another company) said that our gorgeous white oak from the Woods Company is some of the finest quality he has ever worked with. When our friends come over, the first thing that they mention is how gorgeous our floors are. We could not possibly be more thrilled with our experience with Karen and The Woods Company, and we would recommend them to anyone.

He picks the cheapest supplies and only puts on one coat. He did this to me, and he lied and stated he did a second coat and did not. It was the worst looking paint job anyone has ever seen. I had numerous people commenting on how bad it was. It chipped and was peeling the next day. He also required to be begged to even show up. He would not return my money, and I was ripped off. He then said he would come back in the spring to fix it and never showed up. Do not trust this man to do your painting and get ripped off like I was.

Someone said in another review that he seems to be in a cycle of robbing Peter to pay Paul. I agree. He seems to take deposits from new customers to perform on the jobs of old customers. I stopped payment on my deposit check only hours after giving it to him because I could tell his sales pitch was deceptive. First, he would not commit to start date as soon as he got my deposit, but was more than eager to start before the check. Plus, the person who referred him to me said Kelly is very slow. I think it is more than that. Kelly pretended to cry during his sales pitch with me. I think this was to deceive me into believing he was trustworthy. I was suspicious at both meetings with him and angry after both (trust tour instincts!). Buyer beware! Kelly is not worth the risk. He insisted on taking one of my kitchen cabinet drawers with him for no legitimate reason. We'll see how hard it is for me to get the cabinet back. I think he will hold it hostage. I think that was the whole purpose his insistence in taking one drawer with him. Kelly is too slick for me.
