I love this place! We've been here two times during spring break with my kiddo!…read more I love the selection of items they have to paint. They give great instructions on how to achieve the look and color you are hoping for. Anyone can paint!! The prices are listed on all the ceramics and there are small to large pieces. You will have to leave your art for about a week before it's baked and ready. They also offer glass making and clay pottery classes. They offer spring and summer break camps too!! You can walk in any time to paint, which I love! This is a great rainy day activity! There is not a studio fee that most played charge. Great service and experience! Plan to be here an 1-2 hours.

Which we DID ;) I had to kick off a quarter of a century the right way. Ya feel me?! I picked a large beer mug to pour a pitcher of coffee in during the day and a bottle of wine at night. I picked the sun and the moon add ons to go along with my morning and night feel! Sun for coffee and a moon for wine ;) There isn't a studio fee! So the price on your item is all you pay. After a few days you can pick up your beautiful item!! I can't wait to pick up line! I will post that picture later!! Lindsey was a doll and set everything up for us. On top of all that, I forgot my plates, cups, wine opener, napkin... Pretty much everything at home! And she dug around to find all of that for us. She really went out of her way to assist us and explain the best way to paint our items. After four hours of painting and laughter, we left! I seriously can not WAIT to go back!!!!! It beat out every other place in Kentuckiana that I have visited to do this.

So I searched online for nearby classes because I need someone to watch where I'm going wrong. Ms. Audrey's offered a beginner class at a time that worked for me and a price that was very affordable. The class had 4 other students and was held in her store. She is a patient instructor and made sure everyone was on the same step as we went along. She explained things in a way that just clicked. I will definitely return for a level 2 class.

You can tell by the way that…read morethey think through the fine details of their work and the care they take with offering it to others. They bring a passion with them to the expertise they offer you. That's what it's like to step into Ms Audrey's Emporium. The entrance is filled with art projects that invite you to explore within yourself- What do you wish to create? What crafting skill have you been meaning to pick up or grow? What part of you haven't you had a chance to express yet? And then Ms Audrey will ask you what you're interested in making, so she can help you bring it from idea to life! My artistic, seven-year-old daughter and I came to Louisville for spring break and enjoyed spending more than two days with Ms Audrey. We had stopped at the Speed Art Museum on our way into the city. Pro tip: The speed is free on Sundays. My daughter was inspired by some community artwork with mixed media on canvas. We showed a picture of the inspiration to Ms Audrey. She had the perfect materials and know-how to help us create our own masterpiece, inspired by the art we saw at the museum. My daughter did not want to do anything else in the city besides make art with Ms Audrey- we even skipped the children's museum. We learned different techniques for using the materials and I'll definitely be incorporating them as we continue to create at home. Ms Audrey helps you not only bring beauty into the world, but she makes learning a new craft accessible step by step. Her process helps you create while expanding your crafting skills along the way. She offers such a unique experience. As someone who continually strives to bring analog experiences to the younger generations, I fully approve and value the service she brings to the community. Her prices are absolutely affordable for the value and materials she has to offer. If you're considering starting a crafting hobby or working on a specific craft project, go see Ms Audrey.

I agree with other reviewers that you'll get warm in the safety gear. I chose to wear the plastic glove liners too, so my hands got very sweaty. Unfortunately, we were one of the last slots of the day and Smash Lab ran out of electronics to destroy before we got there. They offered us more glass items to smash instead. One thing to note is that you can bring your own items to smash- glass bottles, electronics, whatever. I also recommend putting together a playlist before you get to Smash Lab because you get to connect your phone to your smash room speaker.

We booked the Heavy Group Smackage for up to six people, which was supposed to include 50 glass breakables, 2 small electronics, and 2 large electronics. Which part of me didn't understand for the price that we paid, but I'm glad we were given that opportunity for reasons I will share below. When we got into the room, it was already cluttered with leftover debris from previous groups, which immediately made it feel unprepared and rushed. On top of that, the room wasn't set up with any of our items when we arrived (the employee was sitting in her car when we got there), so we lost a noticeable portion of our paid time waiting for things to be brought in--meaning we didn't actually get the full 50 minutes we paid for. The biggest letdown was the item selection: their idea of "two small electronics" was literally two computer mice, which feels misleading at best. The large items--a TV and a PC tower--were acceptable, but that was about it. We did get a selection of glass items in a tote, but they were all pretty small and we had to set them up ourselves. If we hadn't brought several of our own larger items, there's no way we would have had enough to entertain 6 people for the allotted time, let alone feel like we got our money's worth. There was also nothing useful to set items on--just an old tire--making the setup awkward and frustrating (other facilities have platforms of varying sizes). Overall, for $160, this felt like a very poor value and not at all what was advertised. A rage room should feel stocked, intentional, and stress-relieving--not like you're paying to finish off someone else's leftovers. I wouldn't book this package again unless they seriously improve the setup and item quality.
