Also, they didn't even get to the shop until 6:50 to open up so we didn't start painting until 7:45 making a 2 hour experience last until about 11:00. The price is right at 25$ per person but the experience is not worth it.

This was our 8th trip to a glass studio, and the first at Warner. Although we had experience, we were not able to do many of the tasks ourselves, gather the glass, add color to the glass, shape the glass, reheat the glass, etc. The instructor was always holding the pole and actively doing the tasks with us, not instructing us on the steps. We felt like her assistant, not the primary artist. The glass studio felt very rigid, my husband wasn't even allowed to be with me when I was working, he should have been blowing while I was shaping, he was merely watching from the chair area. We did make nice pieces, but they really weren't all ours. This probably is a good experience if you have never touched glass. If you have any experience and want to actually do your own piece, go somewhere else! We expressed our concerns after the experience and was told "not to come back". By the guy at the front desk. That's really unprofessional. I would not recommend.

We recently went here with my two small children to paint pottery on a rainy day. We settled on 2 small airplanes for my kids to paint. If I remember correctly they were around $15 each. The atmosphere was very cute. On that particular da, there was a party in the back finishing up but other than that it was pretty quiet in there. Especially after the party left. My kids painted their airplanes pretty quickly because they are 2 and 4 years old. We gave them to the girl and she told us it would be a week until they were fired and ready to be picked up. A day shy of 1 week we were randomly in the area a d stopped by to see if they were done. Unfortunately only one of them was done so we didn't take it and waited for the other one to be done so we could pick them up at the same time. We came back the next day and they were both ready. They turned out great! Our experience at this place was wonderful. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone. I've been hoping to nurture my creative side and doing it while drinking might help get my juices flowing. Their website boasts a whole array of paintings, there are pretty landscapes, rustic designs and some fun and festive ones, priced around $25-45 each depending on the length and difficulties. I saw a few more challenging ones that I'm very interested to satisfy my type-A personality. There's also one that you can install some lights to shine through the canvas. I'm definitely going to sign up for that. Since it's a BYOB, we went to buy two bottle of wines, dressed up in our costumes and headed out to check this out. It was located in an unassuming strip mall on Nazareth Pike. We were met with very pleasant staff who dressed as zombies and zombie hunter while assuring us that they usually look more normal, ha! The manager painted himself as Vincent Van Gogh' self portrait, I thought to myself that we were in for a creative night. The painting itself was a gloomy zombie walk in a grave yard. It lends itself to some fun shadow work. The host taught us how to paint it step by step with funny anecdotes and games in between while we refill our wine glass every now and then. Two hours flew by and everyone finished their paintings on time. I think we all left satisfied. My other friends later saw my handiwork and commented on it and I think we'll come back to try other ones. What a fun hobby to pick up!

We had arrived and was welcomed in by our instructor Julia. We had brought in some snacks and wine. Plates, cups, and ice were available for us to use. They had prepared the easel, canvas, paint brushes, and paints that we would be using. Julia began her lesson and showed us our painting that we would be working on. Julia was super helpful and patient with helping us make our masterpieces. I am no Picasso but with Julia's guidance I didn't do too shabby! Overall it was a really fun team building activity for myself and coworkers. This was my first time at a sip and paint and Julia made it so enjoyable.
