I have been to so many places and Haru Salon is the only one for me. I can trust them to do an outstanding job and leave me filling with confidence. I'll walk you through the process. First they don you with two capes and another item for your neck. Is it cold? They have a closet that warms up your jacket. Second they wash and massage your hair and your back in a massage chair. Next they cut your hair to your liking and walk you through the process - they will tell you what looks good and why. With the amount of meticulous care I've seen them take compared to anyone else blows me out the water. Another hair wash (okay this is new to me since I have never seen a second hair wash in the North) and styling, waxing, blow drying your hair. She does the prettiest hair color I've ever had. (And I've had a LOT of hair colors!) Also she uses natural products which was important to me when I was pregnant. Finding a hair stylist who will do what you ask (instead of giving you the hair cut they think you need) is pretty much priceless, which is why I won't go anywhere else. I've seen another girl there, Rene, doing hair and it looks like she's really good too. She's never done my hair, but *if* I was ever going to "cheat" on Elizabeth that's who I'd go to. I got there and Rene took me to her chair, she did NOT looked my hair to mashed my roots or even did NOT asked me what color hair I wished to have; Rene brought a color already mixed and started Color my roots ;-( I noticed and told her color was to dark for my roots, Rene replied it's the only color that would cover my gray (not true) after processing color she washed it out and color was too dark she said it would fade away!! She did NOT know how to dried my hair with round brush and dried hair the wrong way as my hair it's course and very dried, after all done she took my credit card charged it and did not give or offered to give me a receipt after paying $191.00 for her TERRIBLE HAIR services! After I left hair salon I did have to go straight to Ulta hair stylish to fixed the mess Rene have done on my hair! Rene's roots color did not matched the color I have before on my roots or either did not matched my existing highlights, she did not care and let me go like that even do I mentioned it was to dark, (see pics enclosed) She did so many wrong things on me while I was there, I could not believed how that woman is still in business;-( she make a mess all over my hair line with hair color and did not care to clean it off ;-( I would not take my dog to be washed and groom with Rene or hair salón, the next day I called the salon and complained about the terrible services I have received and asked them to refund my money but it was not worth going through the nightmare even do having my $$ refunded! All the stylists are talented but Emily is by far my favorite! I have gone to her for a few years now and she's incredible. Her color is top notch and she's a perfectionist so her cut and color are always consistent. I have never had any issues or not liked my hair. In fact, we are on the level now where I just ask her what we are doing with my hair ha. She's always up to date on current trends and is more of an artist than anything. I never have any issues with scheduling and she's so good about communication. Highly recommend this salon and Emily especially. Although I havnt gotten my hair done by the other stylist I do see their customers and everyone does a great job. You can't go wrong here!! Both my kids see her as well.
