Michael and his crew are very coordinated and about 6-7 people came and Michael explained the plan and what rooms. We did three rooms and two hallways up and down. They have different jobs which a few cut in at edges and there were others that took off the outlet covers and some placed the plastic and paper on floors. They moved things to the center of the rooms and then the rolling guys. They arrived at 8!am and were cleaning up and putting things back by 2pm!! They even took their lunches in staggered so no one would leave the home open and empty! It was quick and I love the look!! It was painless and done expertly!!! Friendly and such quality! OUTSTANDING! Michael and his team are excellent. Michael himself and his nephew met us at our home in Bay Colony to provide us an estimate- they were both friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We had 3 painting companies come that day to give us quotes, and we went with Michael because of our experience with him that day and his reassurance that he and his crew could execute our job quickly without compromising quality, and that's exactly what they did. The whole house was painted in 2 days, Michael was on site painting alongside his crew the whole time, and they worked 95% of the time, only stopping mid day for a quick lunch. Day 3 was saved for minor touch ups and a final walk through which took about 2 hours. Everyone was friendly and respectful of our home, and happy to answer questions along the way. We also had a special request for the crew to remove the chair rail, upper cabinets, and paint the wet bar. The end result turned out exactly how we had hoped. Finally, we had new hardwood floors installed the week after Michael and his team finished painting our entire house. Before we could even ask Michael insisted we text him once the floor crew was done so he could stop by and touch up any scuffs along the walls and trim that had occurred while installing the new floors, at no additional charge. Over the years I have had a lot of experiences with different painting companies. It was a never ending struggle just to get them to show up, complete the work, and hopefully do a quality job. I was happy if two out of the three were accomplished. My parents originally referred me to Michael after he did an amazing job painting the exterior of their house. My parents are very particular about contractors and do not hire just anyone. To get a 5 star recommendation from them spoke volumes to me. Michael showed up promptly at 4 pm as scheduled to give us a quote on painting the exterior of our house. After agreeing on the quote he scheduled us for Mid March (he met with us in January). Knowing that painters are usually booked 3 months out, I thought this was a reasonable date. On a Monday morning the beginning of February, I got a call from Michael asking if I was ready to get our house painted. The weather was going to be unseasonably warm that week, so he wanted to take advantage of the opportunity. WOW! That was a different experience. Not only did him and his crew do an outstanding job, but they finished early, even after adding on our front porch flooring to be stained. I hired Michael to put in new molding and paint my den. Imagine my shock when I walked by my den and he had cut the carpet about a foot back from the wall (see picture) to install the molding. I was horrified and he just seemed to think it was no problem. When the helper came to paint the next day. He said Michael told him not to paint the molding. WHO DOES THAT!!!!! Where do I start? I called on a Friday afternoon in a panic. I explained to Deborah about my paint mystery where I could not get my paint to match up. Michael came out Saturday afternoon to help me figure out what went wrong and to quote the job. After some sleuthing, we determined the paint must have been mixed wrong at the store. My wife hired this company based on reviews to paint the complete interior of our condo about a month and a half ago. Michael showed up, gave a really good estimate and we went forward. That's where the downhill started. He returned to finalize colors and proceeded to let us know what colors we really wanted. Ok fine. Painting day arrived. They proceeded to "complete" the job in a day and a half. All this happened while I was at work and wife was home. Pretty speedy. Was told he would return to do touch ups following week. Unfortunately we had to go out of town so we had little time to notate All the touch up spots that needed it. Touch up day arrives and they show up in an obvious hurry. Here and out door in an hour. It's about 5 weeks later and we are still finding areas they didn't bother to even paint. A lot of areas look like a 5 yr old painted it. They painted over things that had no business being painted. They painted carpet nap into our baseboards. They half ass painted the stainless metal trim around some of our windows. Really?! We have paint splatter on furniture, counters, appliances, etc...which goes along with my wife telling me they didn't tape or cover anything while here. Total shabby job. Would not hire them again. Would pay more for a more conscientious job. Good thing they left all the leftover hazmat paint for us to get rid of...because we need all of it to fix and finish the job. read more

We hired Painting by Michael to paint two downstairs rooms, our 2 story foyer, upstairs hallways and another back stairway area, as well as the ceilings on each of the areas. In fact, once the painting was already underway, we realized the back stairway and its ceiling also needed to be done, and Michael and his crew added that area on to the job with no hesitation. I can not stress enough how excellent this business is !!! I wish I could give them 20 stars rather than 5. Michael made everything easy from the first step, through the job and upon completion. He gave great advice on paint color, such as making it 70% of the full color to give the shade I wanted (he was correct !), and was very meticulous about making sure all the work was done to the highest quality. His crew was very punctual, PLEASANT, EFFICIENT and hard working, as well as being really excellent painters ! They finished everything in 2 days and also came back after the job was done to do a thorough DETAILED inspection of the painting to find and fix any tiny things that may have been missed. Michael is such a charismatic gentlemen. All I wanted was my trim touched up, but he was able to open my eyes to a new color scheme that would completely compliment my structure and landscape.
