TERRIBLE company. Extremely unprofessional. Takes forever to finish a job because they constantly show up late smelling of marijuana, then leave ridiculously early. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR with this company. There's a reason they're the "lowest" cost in town. They do lazy work, don't bother to smooth or fill any holes. We had brand new LUXURY carpet installed in the bedrooms of our new house, of course there's globs of dry paint we found later stuck in the middle of our carpets. No contracts or estimates were ever created or signed- POOR customer service, from Cherri to Tony. Racist comments were made SEVERAL TIMES from Tony himself and his staff even commented on it. In the past several months, we had Painting the Town undertake two major projects for us. We started by contacting Cheri, who set up an appointment with Tony for the next day. The first was to paint our house, a large two story house with peaks that extended to what would be three stories. There was also a separate 2 story garage that needed painted. Tony surveyed the project and by the next day had a bid ready for us, one that was less than the others bids we had received. They required 50% down and the remainder at the completion of the project. They worked quickly and efficiently, caulking any and all seams in the siding, soffit, fascia, and crown moldings. In less than a week, the project was done perfectly. The crew showed up on time and worked diligently under the supervision of Kayla, a true pro at not just painting but also in leading her group of workers. They also took care of any questionable areas in the siding to insure that all was well. A professionally done job from start to finish! After the great success we had with Painting the Town on our first project, they were the obvious crew to hire for painting the complete interior of our house, over 2,800 square feet including high ceilings, crown moldings, and a 2 story ceiling height over the staircase. Once again, the crew arrived at the exact time that they said they would, and, led by Kayla, completed the job in less than a week. Kayla insists on professionalism from her crew and they respond well. They were also very polite and pleasant to have working in our home. Heavy furniture needed to be moved and returned to place and was done with no problems, Coverings were placed over all of the furniture and tarps protected the hardwood floors. Not a nick or scratch could be found anywhere after they completed the job. Also, they applied the painted so carefully that there are no brush strokes or spatters on anything. We could continue extolling all of the positive things we have too say about Painting the Town and Kayla, but we think that you get the point--a professional group of painters doing a professional job. Absolute garbage. Avoid this company at all costs. Sloppy paint job on the interior of my home. Missed two bathrooms, got paint on my hardwood floors, on the trim, on windows, ceiling etc. Had to call them back to finally get it acceptable. Stained my deck a year ago and it's already coming off. Promised to touch it up and did so with mismatched stain. Tony promised to re stain the whole deck and I asked for a few Samples which he agreed to. A week went by and I asked for an update and he said he was tired of me. He proceeded to scream, cuss, and threaten me. They couldn't even pressure wash my house correctly. Missed a huge area of my house that's still green! Promised for months to come fix it, never showed up. I finally told him just stay away from my property before you screw something else up. He didn't like that and acted like a 3 year old and proceeded to threaten me again. His wife Cherie/Sherry was egging him on in the background. She's no better and can't remember anything. She handles the appointments and collecting money. They are really good at the collecting money part. Avoid them! Complete incompetence throughout.
