Their language (MF this and MF that) was so loud my neighbors could hear it. They left cigarette butts on my driveway and yard as well as leaving large sections of gutter downspout in the bushes in front of my house. Mike came to my wife during the install and said he forgot to include something in the bid and had her give him $50 dollars to cover it. Thats not right. After the install was partially complete at 14:30 on Friday we were told someone would be out to pick up the pile of old gutters in front of the house that afternoon. The we received a text telling us it would be Saturday. No one showed up Saturday. we texted no response. Was finally able to reach Mike Monday. He came and picked up the old gutter material and said he was going to get his blower and would be back. That was 10 days ago. I cleaned up their mess. I would give them zero stars if I could. Also the roofing company that recommended Scotts to us came out during this and saw the mess. They were embarrassed and very apologetic for recommending them.

So, we got a roof ourselves from these guys and gals. From the beginning of a phone call, the service was exceptional and very understanding. Many calls were made. Lol. They sent a guy named Scott out here to give us a quote. When that man got out of his car, I thought, great, they sent me a young kid that dont know much. Boy, was I wrong!!!!! This 24 year old had the experience and knowledge like no other. Being that he knew the things he knew and could explain it, you no longer have to sale to me. I'll take it. Lol. This company got me financed fast and had a crew of 4 guys out here days later to put my roof on. These four gentlemen got my roof on in one day. Not only that, they also made it look as if they were never here. I am impressed by the professionalism and price these guys have. I also paid for their best warranty called the GOLD WARRANTY, which is good for 50 years. This job was done six years ago, so the faulty installation of the drip edge should have been covered. They did not install the drip edge correctly, and they will not pay for the repairs that I had to have done, which came to $2,242.02. They nailed the drip edge into the molding and the facia, but it should have been nailed into what they call the decking or the underlayment. I watched a GAF video that showed that the nailing should have been other than what they did, but they would not pay for the repairs that I had ti have done and paid for already. I sent them several pictures of their faulty work and the repairs that are under way. They refused to give me any satisfaction. They said that they didn't do anything wrong, so I sent them a GAF video on how to install the drip edge, which showed that they installed it wrong. I spoke to GAF several times, but they assured me that it was not their fault, which I totally agree with. It was the installers - Coastal Carolina Roofing Experts. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau of North Carolina to file a complaint with them. We paid good money for their GOLD WARRANTY, but it was a waste of money, because they would not honor it, even after they told me that THE WARRANTY DID COVER "MATERIAL AND INSTALLATION." I paid $16,638 for this roofing job back in 2019. I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH THIS COMPANY. I tried to call the telephone numbers at the top of our contract with them; two of them were disconnected and the other one was a car dealer in Toronto, Canada! GOOD LUCK!
