I'm no beginner to these classes, this is a great date night idea or even solo. I decided on this painting so I can gift it to my mom for her birthday. The instructor Jim was really nice and thorough with his explanations. The room is a bit smaller than other studios I've been to and when you first enter the establishment, you walk directly into a much larger space. It's a bit confusing depending on where your class is taking place but other than that and having to pay for parking-- I have no complaints. P.S. I hope my mom likes her painting LOL

Booked here on Saturday for date night and it was a great time! Chandy was our instructor and she was super helpful and brought her charismatic personality and humor into our class... so it was fun from start to finish. You don't need to be Picasso or Van Gogh to take this on but I promise you, that you'll be leaving here feeling like you were ;) Just trust the process and let your creative juices flow. Chandy kept the class lively and had the best music selection that had you singing and vibing as you paint. Let's not also forget, it's a BYOB event so bring your favorite drink and get ready for a good time. I would recommend to come here with friends, your significant other or even a private party. It sure is a memorable experience and you leave here feeling accomplished from what you made. SN: It is street parking with Pay By Phone and make sure to make your reservations online.

Came in for the vday special and our instructor Ariel did a great job. He took his time and made everyone comfortable + reggae music! Definitely returning!

My daughter turned 11 & I couldn't figure out what to do with a group of 11 year olds to celebrate, but then my husband had the great idea of doing paint with a twist kid edition. When it comes to party planning I like simple. I called up the studio & simple is what I got. You request a date & time then once you get approval they send you an email & you can do the deposit. Deposit is for 3 chairs. Then once your deposit is placed, you get access to your party page. There you chose your artwork which is super easy. You can save several in your favorites & then you chose your final piece. From your party page you can send invites & make your final payment too. You get time to set up & time to clean up. I did the standard which was 1.5 but since they give you time to set up & clean up it was 2 hours total & more than enough time. The pricing was $27 per painter for the time slot we chose which isn't bad at all for the experience. You have an area to set up for your event & then the team sets up each painters area with an individual canvas, paint brush & paint. Aprons are also provided. The painters have someone guiding them throughout the event. Our instructor was Natalia & she was the best! So sweet & patient. Highly recommend her. We had the upstairs room that had a decent sized waiting room so some of the parents could wait. Our party was 19 painters & about 9 parents stayed. I do recommend drop off since parking is limited as is the wanting room space. The ambience is nice too. They play music & give you time to get your snacks to keep painting. My husband & I were really happy with the event. Our daughter loved it. Highly recommend ! Can't wait to try with friends on another occasion, but love that it can be an adult event, kid event or family event. Only thing to keep in mind if you are doing a large event make sure to have a head count several days ahead of your scheduled event. I made sure to triple ask because the studio did assure me that the day of they do not refund for seats that weren't filled. Also, make sure everyone gets to the studio on time because they do give it a little while before starting, but once they start it may be hard to catch up depending on what you're painting. We had 3 girls come slightly after the instructor had begun but Natalia went & caught them up without a problem.

This was my first Painting with a Twist experience and it was a lot of fun. I came with NAMI Miami colleagues on a Sunday afternoon and Chandra was our instructor. She was really friendly, easygoing, accommodating, confident, welcoming, inclusive, clear, and helpful. While she was setting up the blank canvases, paints, and paint brushes, my colleagues and I put on aprons and enjoyed some food and wines. Throughout the class, Chandra offered tips and advice on how to paint. For example, she showed us how to use our fingers to get estimated measurements of the placement on what we were painting. She was happy to repeat instructions when some of us were still catching up or forgetful. For those who were confused, she was really patient and helped them get to the next step one-on-one. She told us different ways to use our brushes to get the ideal strokes or paints. I really enjoyed the class, loved her music selections, and am thankful for the experience. She offered to take pictures and videos for us as often as we liked and stayed to answer any questions. Thank you Chandra!!! For the owners: Please give her a raise, bonus, or promotion because she is really good at what she does, and she is really knowledgeable!

What a fun night! My mom and I decided gift my Tia a night out at PWAT for Christmas. Major pro to PWAT is that you can book that day- we bought our tickets that evening for Christmas in Paris. This location is two stories so there are two classes going on at once. There's a suuuuuper cute patio outside where you can chat and wait until your class starts. I also noticed a big party before us that brought food and decorations- this would be such a fun location for a big get together! Not only is it BYOB but you can also bring whatever food you'd like. On to the painting- Chandra was our instructor and she was so much fun. Shout out to her because my mom, Tia and I decided to color outside the lines and not use any colors from the template. She helped us with our creativity and we had so many laughs along the way. I enjoyed the night here, and appreciated how attentive the instructor was to helping you with your artistic vision. Thanks PWAT for a really fun night.

We had a great time at Painting with a Twist. The teacher Chandra gave lots of great tips and was very encouraging and supported individual creativity too. The class was small which was perfect - chill vibes and super fun! The teacher also had a fantastic music selection that had me bobbin dancing and singing while painting

I had a fun valentines date with my significant other at the Painting with a Twist! Once we walked inside, the staff greeted us and directed us to our painting session. The instructor was named charanda and she was the best! Went step by step with clear instructions. She offered us additional colors to add for the painting. At the end of the session, she offered if anyone needed help to perfect our masterpieces! My boyfriend and I had a great time! We will be coming back for another date night! The location doesn't offer many parking spaces but there is meters available on the side of the street. This is a great idea to bring your friend, significant other for date or birthday gift! I like that your allowed to BYOB, and snacks!

This was my second time at a painting event. I had previously attended a painting event in February with Heartsy and loved it so much, when my friend suggested Painting with a Twist, I was excited! First things first, you can register for your class online for $35. The painting depends on the evening you select, so the choice is yours! My girlfriend picked Cherry Blossoms, so I didn't have much of a choice, but I happen to love cherry blossoms! Anyway, on to the venue review.. Arrive early! Parking is extremely limited! Once I arrived, I checked in downstairs. I was told my class would be held upstairs because downstairs had been reserved for a private party, so I made my way up. Upon arrival I assumed we'd have assigned seats because the online sign up asks who you want to sit next to, but it's pretty much first come, first served. So if you're coming with a +1, arrive early! The girls at my table were great and we were all excited for class to begin. Class started roughly 15 mins after it was scheduled to. This wasn't a big deal, until we got to the middle of our painting. Everything was incredibly rushed and the instructor seemed annoyed with the class. Also, I didn't get what the purpose of blasting music during class was for. It made it incredibly difficult to hear and follow instructions. Overall, my experience at Painting with a Twist was rather disappointing. I loved my painting, don't get me wrong, but I personally would not come back to this location because of the instructor. ProTip: Feel free to bring your own wine & food!

We went in a large group, and got to try out both the racing and the shooting game they offered. The actual race is so fun - you can buy a package to do two races that's around $25, but they offer group discounts and deals the more tickets you buy. I had a blast racing the go-karts, and it was even more fun because I beat my entire family much to their dismay. While the go-kart experience is fun, the entire experience of Battle Racing is pretty mediocre. The building itself is pretty run down, and the staff is not very welcoming or helpful. The place doesn't have a lot to offer in terms of other games to play while you wait your turn, and they also do not offer reservations and the experience is first come first served. I would imagine that creates a weird experience if you aren't the first ones to arrive like we were. There is only one bathroom for the entire space, so if the place is full you have to wait quite a bit. They also offer food and private party services, but seemed pretty unprepared for our private party which my cousin booked in advance with time details and food requests. I think this place could be really successful if they spruced the place up a bit, offered a bit more organization when it came to booking, and had a more welcoming team. There is definitely potential, but it missed the mark for our party this weekend. There is a free parking lot in the back of the building, as well as street parking. Overall, if you want to go-kart race here I would be prepared for an in-and-out experience as it's not a place you want to linger.

While the dough rested we enjoyed a delicious fresh salad of greens, carrots, cucumber, and tomatoes just drizzled with aromatic olive oil. We continued in our pasta making journey by rolling out the dough and passing it through the pasta roller. Chef also demonstrated how to make different shapes of pasta and the history behind them. We the watched him prepare our pasta dinner! This was the most challenging part...mouths were surely watering! We were served pappardelle with mushroom ragout, and ravioles stuffed with truffled ricotta. Everything was fresh tasting and delicious. I loved all the simple ingredients and the light natural flavors. Dessert was chocolate mousse with strawberries and fresh whipped cream! Heaven!!
