I love this place. I've been twice now and I'm about to try the take home painting kits. The first time we went, was good. My fiance messed up his painting and the instructor helped him fix it and get him back on track. Our paintings are great but we have two of the same so the next time we went back we did a couples painting. This instructor was even better. Step by step instructions, lots of fun and interaction with us painters and she was so clear about how to do the next step. She also started a little early since everyone had arrived and it gave us a few extra minutes to complete harder steps. I never felt rushed and I love the idea of the SOS day to get help if you feel your painting isn't something you are ready to hang on the wall! Can't wait to go back Edit: just picked up my at home paint kit. Pick up was so easy and everything was nicely packaged. Should make for a fun date night! read more

Loved it so much! Hosted a private event for my birthday and they let us bring our own drinks and food which was pretty nice. I was originally planning on going to Muse paint bar but they have a bar/food menu you can order form that would've made the trip so much more expensive I think. It was more fun and cheaper to have everyone bring something instead. Our painting instructor Gary was super fun too. Really funny guy and his birthday was two days after mine (happy birthday Gary!). Great instruction as well, I have very little experience with painting and he made everything really clear. Great experience. You also get to choose the painting when you do a private event and I picked a really cool little moth in a pretty forest setting. He also encouraged us to do whatever we wanted with the painting which was really fun. Cool to see how unique everyone's work came out. read more

The first time I went was with my friend for his birthday and we had a great time. I was pleased but we were rushed out and encouraged to leave at the exact time the class ended if we were done or not. I assumed that this was because it was a night class. They encouraged us to come back on an SOS afternoon if we were not done. I was so no bid deal. I used the hairdryer to dry my work so that I could make it to the car. The second time I went was today. I paid $100 for four of us to attend the mommy and me class with my daughter. It was scheduled to be a 2-3:30 class and we were told to arrive at least 15-20 minutes early. We showed up at 1:40. Our names were on the tables. The canvases were still being prepped with an outline that wasn't even made until we walked in the door. The mommy and me class is great in theory but it is really difficult to paint and help my kid paint and not fall apart. I thought the extra 30 minutes of class would cover for this, but it didn't. Then they rushed through the class complete with time limits. "3 more minutes to paint the hair" etc. Then the last part (which was the hardest) painting the black outlines, was given a very short time. (The outlines would be better and easier with a smaller brush especially with kids). We were asked to rush through it to take a picture. We were also encouraged once again to come to the SOS day. They literally threw away our paint and started putting away our brushes before we were given the chance to complete the painting. I told the person to not take mine because we started late and that we deserved extra time. I kept finishing, but I was the only one. They started setting up the next party behind me while I was trying to finish. All of their canvases had drawings. With many many companies offering this as an option I will go somewhere else next time. It isn't worth the money to be rushed. Overall my experience which should have been fun and relaxing was ruined with the time constraints. Also, there were no drawings, no extra games while things dry, no time taken to make the experience whole. read more

There are times in life where Facebook shares ideas based on it trolling my searches and purchases. So one fine day just after I purchased tickets for Star Wars FB shared with me that there was an Star Wars Painting event at Paint with a Twist. My first thought was FB stop stalking me it's not cool. Then I thought this might be a really cool date night idea for my husband and I. I easily booked the event at about $35 per person. When we arrived the two lovely paint goddess recieved us with Star Wars music and smocks to protect out clothes. There was even hot cocoa and water for us as well. My husband was super concerned about his lack of painting skills but he immediately felt comfortable and was proud of his efforts. We. Had. The. Best. Time. From the trivia, to the instructions for painting this was a total dating success. We will soooo be back!!!! read more

My husband and best friend threw me a surprise party here last weekend and it was so fun! I had no idea it was coming, of course, so I went in with no expectations, but the party was a blast and very well orchestrated. I, along with 13 of my friends/family, got to paint a serene beach scene. We brought out own food and wine and had a great time chatting while painting along with the instructor. The steps were easy to digest and I'm glad there weren't too many because after a few glasses of wine, instructions can get pretty.... hard to follow. The play list was on point so kudos to whoever set that up for us while we painted! I love that we had a break in the middle of painting and that we played a game while our paintings dried. It was really interactive! My friend told me that the best part of working with them is that you get a link to send out to all party guests so that they can sign up for the class and pay themselves. Love that! No down payment, no chasing people to pay, etc. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I did a "mommy and me" unicorn painting set with my sister for my birthday and had the most incredible time. The woman at the front desk was so friendly and helpful and throughout the class she came around to make sure that I was on track and if I had any questions. Even though I was one of the older ones in the class they really made me feel special for my birthday with the games and making sure I was getting a product I was proud to hang in my home. This location is fantastic and I can't wait to come back again to add to my decor. read more

I had an amazing time at Painting With A Twist. A small group of us went and came out with smiles, paintings and great memories. The staff were great at explaining step by step what we were doing while letting us be creative in our own way. We really enjoy this place. The artists and staff are on point and deliver a great experience every time. My wife and I have gone numerous times and even had our sons birthday party here. The private party option was great for our birthday party needs. We got our own room and we were able to bring our own food and drinks(alcohol as well). My friends and i came and we had fun. It definitely isn't deaf and hoh friendly. Which we assumed it probably wasn't, and It was our first time. Love this place! So fun and anyone can learn to paint with their easy step by step instructions! I go with my girlfriends for a fun night out or with my husband for a date night. Next visit I'm going to take my son to try a kids paintings. I've done the evening painting with wine and the afternoon painting with coffee and both are great options.
