Very unprofessional from the start , inspection was slotted for 3 to 4 hours the inspector took 5 and a half hours without asking if it was OK to continue he created a inconvenience for myself and family , the inspection was a bit to much, not to mention taking things apart and not putting back, he also put a radon tester in the lower bedroom with out asking if it was OK , he told me he was going to walk the perimeter of the house before he left and then went in to the bottom bedroom and set up his equipment without telling me if it was OK to do so,, he kinda did it in a sneaky way which i didn't like, the next visit was to pick up his radon equipment not to continue inspecting, he told my friend that he had to come back in the house to continue his inspection he was there for another hour and a half, I would never recommend this company his inspections are WAY over the top and can only hurt both buyers and sellers I have bought and sold many homes and have never experienced any thing like this, we can go onto the contractor next who was a real crook but that wouldn't be fair to the inspector Since you can't take criticism well , you resort to calling me at home and threatening me , now that's very professional, anyway I'm not going to keep playing your game so this will be our last contact, I had my house inspected by a real inspector 6 months ago and showed him that ridiculous report and he and my contractors and 2 realtor associates of mine really found it kinda entertaining. You and your crooked contractors should not be doing home inspections and contracting for home sales, a 35,000 and a 18,000 estimate that your honest contractors submitted I got done for a 1000.00 , and let's get something straight I never said I hired you , I said you were sneaky a bully, and inconvenienced my self and family, I have had over 12 homes inspected and help build plenty of homes and have never seen anything like this ,so son know what you are talking about before you make comments you wouldn't know a well built custom home if it fell on your head so best of luck in your future endeavours, Btw don't bother replying or have someone reply for you since I will not return to your page , it's not personal or because of frustration or someone did or didn't buy my house, it's about honesty and professional and doing a job correct. Grandma B. (review on this page) did not hire Pait Home Inspections. I hired Pait Home Inspections while I was under contract to purchase Grandma B.'s personal residence in Raleigh, NC. Grandma B. was the seller. The inspection found significant issues and repair needs. I then had a licensed general contractor (not Mr. Pait) go to the property and give me a quote for the repairs. I then had a second general contractor go to the house and give me another quote for the repairs (his name is Lane). I then asked Grandma B. for price concessions to offset some of the significant repair needs. We were not able to reach an agreement on concessions, so I decided to terminate the offer to purchase and walk away. Grandma B. started to leave hurtful reviews on Yelp and other sites just after the contract termination. He also left hurtful reviews on Yelp for Lane (Reliant Home Solutions) . In my opinion, Grandma B.'s reviews are clearly intended to impeach Pait Home Inspection and Reliant Home Solutions in their trade and profession. Please ignore Grandma B.'s negative reviews for both Pait Home Inspections and Reliant Home Solutions. Stephen was early, and took his time with his inspection. He through the outside from the top of the roof all around the foundation. He was very through as well in the inside. He provided a detailed report in less than 24 hours of completion of the inspection. He communicated and took the time to explain issues on the report.
