This means a lot since our home backs up to a wetland area with all kinds of creepy, crawly bugs. We appreciate that our technician, Ryan Behrends, has been the same person for years, someone we've gotten to know and trust to do a great job. He's always dependable to be there at the appointment time, always checks in to see if we have had any problems since the previous visit and has been super cooperative so that we're able to open up our garage so he can do an application in there while he's here. Ryan also monitors and baits (if needed) four exterior mouse stations. We feel like the service is very affordable (about $66 every other month including the mouse stations) especially since I don't ever have to worry about a spider in the house or garage!!

Then they called me back to upsell me on additional treatment as they didn't schedule the right treatment for my ants. Now they want to come out and spray the snowbank around my house for ants. I ask them to delay for a month but they refused. This company is inflexible about moving treatment dates. They want to charge you regardless if you want or need the service. They really don't care about the customer. They never have followed-up to see if they have solved the original problem. It seems they are simply selling chemical. They want to put down as much chemical and as often as they can. I will not stay with this company. Very unsatisfied.

After speaking with Alana, I was reminded how much I am valued and I value being able to reach a real person immediately when I call. It's also great having a local office I can visit in person. She also assured me that Recon plans to remain family-owned long-term and was willing to match the services at my current rate. The Recon main management claimed not to know who the sales agent was, but in Recon's name, he unlawfully represented the contract, lied about the need for treating earwigs, bullied and coerced me to sign paperwork that I understood to be for a ONE TIME REPAIR to the eaves. It's the "Gotcha' Game" shake down where the paperwork was then used to tie me to services I never wanted. I already have a wonderful pest control service and I repeatedly made it clear that Recon was NOT to trespass on my property for the purposes of spraying toxic chemicals in the yard. I had a "NO SOLICITATION " sign on my door, but at the time, this sales person misrepresented himself by saying my son had sent him. My son, being in the trades, often swaps services with other tradespeople, so I felt I had to tread lightly. Well, I later discovered that salesperson used my name, opened a false contract in my name to substitute for the year-service agreement my son had accepted--except that sales person couldn't coerce my son into signing anything or giving his credit card to keep on file. . . . so he used my information. Worse yet--Recon extracted payments through withdrawals using a router number on a check. They did not have any legal authority to deduct automatice payments from my checking account. They didn't even have legal authority to trespass in the first place. They were forbidden to apply ANY chemicals to my yard, so by claiming to have done so is admitting to more trespassing and vandalism. If they so much as park along the curb of my house, I'm going to call the police--and you should, too.

I signed up for recurring monthly service, knowing how much that would cost, yet I somehow owe an amount that isnt the same. I also signed up for a wildlife management services and the job was NOT completed yet they charged my card $$$$$. I called NUMEROUS times to get the team back out here to address the raccoon as Christopher who sold me the package explained they may need to trap and remove before sealing things up. A few spots around the chimney need sealed. The original day they came to do the job, those guys didnt even know they needed to use a scope to look in the chimney. From that day on, my phone calls are not being returned, NO ONE has come back to FINISH the job. Wouldnt recommend. Filing a dispute with BBB and credit card company.
