In a city where Chinese restaurants are a dime a dozen, this is one of the better ones I've tried. The atmosphere might suggest it is a little more upscale but the prices are still reasonable and the service is spot-on. The menu is quite extensive but I came here with a "regular" of the place who directed me in our order.
To start, he got the spring roll which, if you're a fan of spring rolls, is supposedly delicious. I don't love them so went with egg drop soup which was satisfying. We also got an order of arroz con tres delicias, fried Wontons and duck. The duck roll-ups were prepared right at our table which I found to be special. I really liked the plum sauce it came with and even drizzled something spicy on-top to kick it up a bit.
All of the food came out quickly and the servers were attentive to our needs from soy sauce to a pitcher of water. We came at ten and by the end of the night, the place was packed with all sorts of people from couples to families making me feel like this is a true neighborhood favorite. Too often Chinese food can go wrong and so far, Palacio del Dragon is doing it right. read more
