We've had a Palliser sofa with two reclining sections and two reclining chairs, all a good quality leather, for six years now. We've been very happy with the quality, the leather has never peeled as some report - perhaps it's the grade of leather they purchased. The only issue now is that a switch has gone (one out of the four we have)and the replacement parts are back-ordered. Otherwise I would definitely buy from them again if our furniture ever wears out! read more

We loved the couch we bought. It was the perfect color, size and style. However a couch should last more than 7 years. Our is cracking on the cushions and it's awful. We contacted the company and they refuse to address the issue. We can pay lots of money to fix it but it's probably not worth it. New orders for sectionals with moving parts has a wait time well over 6 months. My order was placed at the end of May 2024 at which time the delivery date was estimated to be 8-16 weeks. Now, Palliser informed the retail store that the delivery may not happen until Jan 2025. I reached out to Palliser directly and was told, they can't tell me when a delivery is expected. Unless you don't care about giving a company thousands of dollars and get nothing for it, don't order until the company can resolve the supply chain/staff issues. read more

Here's what a $7000 Palliser sectional looks like after about a year of light to normal use. The backrest of the chaise section started peeling. No other pieces of the sectional are showing similar defects. Even the seat of the chaise, which gets more wear than the back, is totally fine. Palliser clearly used inferior leather on the back seating surface. But here's the part that makes them an outright despicable company. They will not deal with customers directly and told me to go through the store I purchased it at. After almost a year of back and forth with the store as a middleman, they said they will not honor my warranty because I purchased a "protection plan" (yeah... that is an actual clause in their warranty that they can exercise). But what I actually bought is an ACCIDENT protection plan and that company will not cover anything because this is clearly a manufacturing defect. So now I'm stuck in a Catch 22 that neither company will cover (also pretty pissed off at R&R Furniture for not disclosing their upsell "protection plan" would void the factory warranty). We bought this sectional because it had great looks. It certainly isn't comfortable. But now I'm left with an uncomfortable eyesore in my living room that has to be covered in cloth and pillows just to be functional. I HATE this couch! Never again will any piece of Palliser furniture be in my own home or one of my rental properties. read more

Purchased an expensive leather couch with electric recliners. After less than 3 years one leather cushion has developed a crease in it. I am concerned that the leather will crack. I contacted Palliser and they informed me that I had to go through the dealer. The dealer contacted them and I was sent a video that shows that the leather is supposed to be periodically smoothed. However, the leather seat cushion highlighted in the video has no seams. My seat cushion has 2 seams and you cannot smooth the middle section as pictured in the video. I was informed I could purchase a new cushion and be responsible for installation. This is not what I would expect given the price point of this couch. Stay far away from Palliser!!! I will never purchase any of their furniture again! read more

Do not buy this brand ever! What has happened to Palliser quality? We ordered four theater seats and three arrived Inoperable! 75% fallout! The repairman finally shows up months later "must have been a bad day on the assembly line, I cannot fix them!" Then they put us at the end of queue for replacements had to wait an additional 10 weeks There is much more to this nightmare including rude customer service people at Theater Seat Store, they would not take the junk back once the replacements arrived I asked that they remove the old seats "we will not you must dispose of them yourself." Well it has been 3 weeks since we asked for service on our brand new sectional. When I spoke to the store they told me they have contacted Palliser several times and are waiting for a response. WoW three weeks just to get an appointment to fix the couch. Guess I will have to file a complaint with BBB. Never buy from this company. read more

In June 2022 the Titan sectional we purchased 6 months earlier was delivered. Not one of the 5 pieces was without dirt stains. One of the power recliners did not work, there was tear in the fabric and the stitching was puckered throughout. When one of the headrests was opened there was full dirt handprint visible! After contacting the store we purchased the sectional from, Palliser insisted we document the damage. Palliser agreed to replace all of the pieces. Ten weeks later we received the "new" sectional. Although not as bad as the first sectional the pieces were delivered with fabric damage and dirt stains. Clearly, Palliser has very poor quality control. I would never purchase another piece of furniture manufatured by this company. read more

I purchased a leather sofa made by Palliser from Maxims Furniture in No. Hollywood. It arrived packaged beautifully, wrapped against moisture and well-padded against shipping damage. It was the exact color I ordered, it was beautifully made and I am delighted with this product from stem to stern. It was not cheap and the workmanship proves that quality. After seeing all the negative reviews I felt the need to share my experience with Palliser. My hubby and I looked everywhere for a low back sectional to buy and the only one we could find in our area (Idaho) was a Palliser model. We were told it would take 6-9 months to build in Feb.2022 and we paid close to $6,000 for it. I don't like the leather look so I picked out a warm textured fabric. My furniture arrived at 7 months and I was very impressed with the style, workmanship and the delivery. It was set up by the delivery drivers who explained in detail how it all work. I have two recliners, the headrests adjust up or stay down for a low profile. I can't tell you how much I love the look, comfort and style of this sofa. I did get an extended warranty on the fabric in case of stains but haven't used it so far. The quality of this sofa is far beyond my last Costco model and I am very pleased with it. I have had it 5 months with no issues at all. read more

I have purchased the Palliser Miami sectional couch about four years ago and it has been falling apart on me since day one. I have no pets and no children. The couch has been lightly used and is now ready to be thrown out. We barely used the couch and it has fallen apart. The fabric on it is low quality and is complete garbage. We have already paid to have this couch repaired, but now I am done with this. It is complete garbage. Stay away from Palliser. This couch was not cheap and it is total garbage. After lots of research, we decided to buy a Palliser sectional leather couch --- spending almost $4,000. Unfortunately, we are very unhappy with our experience thus far. Once the couch arrived, we found two very visible scratches on the surface of both pieces and one tear at the top of the couch. We notified our retailer, they then informed Parks. We purchased the Titan reclining sectional about 7 months ago. Not only did it arrive about 3 weeks later than promised, there were quality issues from the start. The feet didn't match each other; on one side they were wood, like we wanted. On the other side, chrome. The fabric we picked has striations in it so it's important in this case that all the fabric is facing the same direction but I immediately noticed that it was facing the opposite direction on one of the recliners. See pics. We called the furniture store where we purchased it to get the correct feet and see what they could do about the fabric. They ordered the feet from the manufacturer and of course, they took about a month to arrive with the fabric that of course, didn't match the rest of the couch. So I had to pick which was less irritating - the fabric going different directions or the new fabric being a completely different color. I had to decide to live with the fabric going opposite directions. Besides these cosmetic issues, the non reclining side started to squeak within a month. On top of all of that, it's the most uncomfortable couch ever. Although the store model seemed comfortable, we can only sit on it for about an hour and then our backs start to hurt. You're going to need a lot of pillows. I also can't stand the way the seats slope back at an angle. I wish I had noticed/realized this in the store. It may look better/more modern than your typical "country" looking reclining sofa but it's not ergonomically designed. If I could do it over again I wouldn't purchase this. Very disappointed because we paid $3700, were very excited, but it turned out to be a pretty big letdown. Don't be sold by the seemingly clever design like I was. It's not practical. Keep looking and avoid this product. read more

Total failure of workmanship & quality control (twice). We bought a sectional that has 3 reclining seats. The delivery guys set it up, tested it and one of the chairs was not working right out of the box. We never even got to use it for 1 day. My paperwork included a picture of my couch & signed by Palliser inspector "B". How could he/she miss a faulty frame that failed to recline? A replacement frame was ordered. A month later, a service guy took the recliner apart, took the frame out, only to realize that the replacement frame was unusable as well. He had to put the old frame back in and leave me with a non-functioning recliner. I've been paying for this furniture for 2 months now and not be able to use it. I thought that spending $4,000 on a couch would buy me better quality. Perhaps not. read more

Not a happy camper . $4500 for a reclining couch and love seat , only to have the foam crush a large percentage in as little as four months . Went back to the dealer only to notice other brand new couches were already compacted on the one side from people testing . My old chesterfield was in better shape after 14 years . What a huge mistake I made with this choice of company. I can barely sit on it for more than 20 minutes ,as it's become that uncomfortable. It's going in to be restuffed . Great ,it should be ok for another 3 months. I'm basically going to take it back and tell the retailer to sell it as used and give me anything I can get back out of it . Less than a year ago, I purchased a sectional for $2,400. A couple of months later we received a defective couch. The fabric covering the seats, backrests, and armrest is loosely stitched over all the cushions creating permanent waves and empty pockets of fabric. I immediately contacted the Palliser "customer care" department who said I should deal directly with the retailer. So I did! I followed up with the store a couple of weeks later, they told me they've contacted Palliser several times and are waiting for a response. A couple of months, the original retailer went out of business. Palliser is now giving me the runaround. I've called and emailed countless times over in the past two months but have yet to hear back from anyone. I've been told countless tales of managers being on vacation (darn long vacations if you ask me) or that they are meeting to discuss my case and should call me back promptly... yet nothing! They refuse to give me a manager's email address. Yet, no one responds to the info@palliser.ca email account? This business is a total failure for its craftsmanship and customer service. We purchased a pair of Palliser leather recliners thinking we were buying a higher end product. One of the two recliners had mechanical issues. After hours of effort trying to reach them, Palliser sent a repair technician out twice. 2 days off of work each visit (4 total) and a sore back later - from helping the repair guy load and unload the recliner (I'm 60 yrs old by the way) and the chair still has problems. The last trip, the recliner came back with leather damage. We're still struggling to get the recliner repaired and don't have confidence that it ever will be. Palliser is not very responsive. We're in San Diego and they're in Canada. They use the distance as an excuse. They shouldn't be selling in an area they can't support when there are manufacturing defects. Palliser refuses to replace the chair even though it has obvious manufacturing defects and the chair is under 100% warranty. What's the point in a warranty if they won't honor it? read more

We ordered a Palliser leather sofa on Sep 6, 2015 and received it in about 30 days. After delivery we noticed that the leather on the left end of the sofa was all bunched up. After going back to the store they gave us the name of their administrative support person who said that that is common with leather. That was not so with the model we saw and we were told that the manufacturer would not do anything. It was clearly "sloppy" workmanship. Both the manufacturer and the store refused to do anything but offer us the name of a leather technician that could fix it. Thanks a "bunch". We bought a Palliser 4 seat connecting recliner set 11 years ago. We use it in our recreation room when we watch movies. We paid a lot of money for this set; however, I can 100% say that it was well worth it. The quality of this set is amazing and it has held out well. The only scuffs on the chairs are due to the 4 moves we've made during that time and it was because of our movers (not Palliser or the quality of the recliners). This past year I noticed that the padding on the leg rests is uncomfortable as the foam is now be compressed and I could feel the mechanism through the foam. I contacted Palliser and asked if it was possible to purchase the foam as I noticed that we had zippers under the rests and recalled when we purchased they said you can refill headrests and leg rests. We live in a world where we throw away so much and companies seem to make products that have to be replaced. Our grandparents purchased 1 set of furniture. I was extremely happy to find that we could purchase the foam and can get 11 or more years out of our recliner set. Bravo Palliser one less item in the landfill. read more

Interested in sitting on enormous wrinkled prunes? Try buying a Palliser leather sofa. You might get your wish. But be prepared, if you are dissatisfied their warranty may not be honored. We bought two leathers sofas from Palliser through a local retailer based on a showroom model. When they were delivered they looked nothing like the showroom model. Every seam everywhere was puckered, pulled to one side and badly wrinkled. The retailer readily agreed that they were badly made and tried to invoke the companies warranty. Guess what? That's standard. One sofas with smooth lines and few wrinkles. Two looking like the face of a hundred year old man. That's standard. So beware: you may or may not get what you think you are getting, the warranty appears to be meaningless and - oh yeah - although saying they are a Canadian manufacturer their leathers are sewn in Mexico where the labor is cheap, much like the look of our sofas. read more
